Collectible Card Game Headquarters

Ok, I had Microprose_MTG_Mok_s_Manalink_2.0_Version
and I updated to Manalink_3.0_20120916v3_NoCardImages (i downloaded the artwork separately).

After that, when i try to launch the game i only get the little manalink square on the top-right corner, but the main game screen doesn't show.

I updated to Manalink patch September 16, 2012 aka M13, but i still have the same problem.

¿Any ideas? Thank you in advance

By updating do you mean downloading the archive from CirothUngol mediafire archives meand copying its content in the old ML folder?

I strongly recommend to not do that and extract it into a new folder.

Yes, as you say I copied the content to the old ML folder.
But I tried extracting to a new one too, with the same results: the main screen does not load. I have the Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package installed too. ¿Am I the only one with this issue?

...did you check out the ReadMe and Install the game by clicking the Install_Me_First! batch file?

The MediaFire download has a rather unique folder structure, and therefore should never be used to update another install. Besides, there's no need. It's completely self-contained.

I had to format my drive recently, and in the fresh Windows installation there is no issue. I guess it had somethig to do with the registry. Thank you for you help and for bringing this classic to life.
