Yes, I just built my computer and (Tried vista 64) I had to disable uac and a bunch of other stuff just to make it usable. No wonder there already talking about windows 7 as I think Microsoft knows they messed up on the vista platform.
I have to hard drives that also like to write protect themselves at random which need unlocked with the diskpart commands.

I understand why you would not want to use the (Evaluation) copy if you use it professionally, as it is not a cheap product.

This file contains the editor plus some other junk (like Magic.exe). So when you download, don't overwrite any files you already have.

Would like to try my hand at this, looks interesting but seems like this editor is a key part of the whole "adding cards" thing.

Copying Cards.dat to BinaryCards.dat worked for me.

(And, I was able to hunt down csv2dat.exe from http://host-a.net/franavalon/csv2dat.exe.)

hmm what do i have to do beside changing a card into something else ?
i´ve just toyed around with the editor(ver 1.0).
changed "abbey gargoyle" into "angel of light" . simply removed prot. red and fixed the manacost , also adjusted the power/toughness.but the game doesn´t apply the changes.

sorry for the stupid question,but what do i have to do after editing and saving to make the changes stick?
