number of cards from each set
by MaraxusOfFishes » 27 Jan 2013, 17:21
Hi,
you have awesomely coded so many cards from sets into manalink 3.0 and i wish to know for each set how many cards are coded in the game. like in tempest set i want to know if all cards are coded etc..
is this information available? (i found only the "set".c files which i guess holds every card as a function but it is not convenient to count them.. even if i'm right)
thanks!.

With some luck, in your ML folder you should have somewhere a file called Manalink.xls, this file holds all the info about the card and if you have Excel 2003 / LibreOffice or later you can even filter per expansion and count coded cards (this file has info on all cards from wizards gatherer so it list all the card currently existing plus coded cards in ML)

That's one way, another way that helps also when you play draft is the rarity.txt that is made by the playdeckanaluser and it has the total numbers of the coded cards for each set and according to rarity, too.
