I just had a thought... is there any way to implement a 'duh' mode for the AI? This would have the effect of making it much much smarter if we could get it to do certain things, like not hoard all its cards in the endgame and just roll over and die :p

If I remember the only thing that affect the AI and that is editable is the card value for AI which range is from 1 to 10

Darn... I was hoping we could make changes like forcing AI to play its lands or use fetchlands immediately instead of during its discard phase.

Made a deck with Coastal Piracy and Curiosity : I always want to draw cards .
Duress, Hymn to Tourach, Thoughtseize, Diabolic Edict,Gatekeeper of Malakir Mind Twist, Cabal Therapy : I only cast them on my opponent (even in a dredge-deck for therapy).
Same for all my Counterspell s : I cast them only against my opponent's spells, but he asks me every time if I want to cast my FoW on my moxes.
Mana Crypt could have an "invisible" upkeep like Serendib Efreet : we don't need to activate it manually to lose life.
Thank you Jatill

I got some more for the list..
Gain life effects that say may. Kor Firewalker etc...
Lose life for the opponent effects that say may. can't recall any right now.
Problem with making Draw effects a must do. Occassionaly you can deck yourself with those effects. Say you have out like 3 enchnatress effects out and you play an enchantment. But you only have 7 cards in the library. Do you draw 3 cards?
I would probably say no unless I was sure I was going to win the game in 1-2 turns easily.

I remember I once lost the 5:1 challenge (cards in library part) because Jace Beleren 's mill ability did not ask which player to mill.

Balefire Liege. I don't really want to hit myself for 3 damage, and I also don't really want to click on the liege every time I cast a red spell :p

How about making the computer scoop when you have Voltaic Key and Time Vault in play

That's true most of the time :p The AI might have Disenchant or some other answer in hand, though. Or the player might do something really stupid...antti wrote:How about making the computer scoop when you have Voltaic Key and Time Vault in play

When my opponent is at 20 life and I Goblin Charbelcher them for 40+ I shouldn't be asked what order to put my cards back in.

That's a good one. I'll include it in the next update.astanix wrote:When my opponent is at 20 life and I Goblin Charbelcher them for 40+ I shouldn't be asked what order to put my cards back in.

Cold-Eyed Selkie, yes I want to draw my cards. If I attack, it's not for the damages but for the cards.

I just installed new version and duh mode imprinted my Empty the Warrens into a Chrome Mox automatically. I like most of duh mode stuff but that's pretty stupid.

I assume that it was the only card in your hand? It's actually the smart-target feature that does this. You can just turn it off if you want.antti wrote:I just installed new version and duh mode imprinted my Empty the Warrens into a Chrome Mox automatically.
