I'm lost on which files are which this thread has gotten a bit confusing.

Hopefully someone compiles all the files together like Jatill did for the normal updates.

if it doesn´t work you have to copy everything to your game folder and use the csv2dat.

i included the pics in there aswell.

Thanks a lot copying that plus running the csv2dat worked great.

I see we have a new list of challenges guess we need the list of whats locked and whats not.

np. time to find bugs now.
there are quite a lot of them right now , like expected. i keep editing my last post on page 6.

jesus christ this Ob Nixilis, the Fallen is so fricking overpowered... play the guy + a fetchland and you deal 3(base)+3(landfall loose life)+3(landfall loose life2)+3(landfall+3/+3)+3(landfall +3/+3) =15 damage wtf!

could you describe the new challenge (3) ? got no clue what the challenges is about and just insta loose cause i don´t know what the challenge is about and prolly got "banned" cards in pretty much everything.
i hate this challenge system to unlock stuff , but thats just me i guess.

thats no bug afaik. it is supposed to work like that. (a planeswalker is a permanent and the hexmage removes all "counters" from permanents.no matter if its a -1/-1 counter or a loyalty counter.

I'm not thrilled to see new challenges either.

Played some games with a couple of new cards.

Bug I encountered that's not in salbei's list:

After oathing a Iona, shield of emeria in play naming white, my opponent played a honor of the pure without problems.

can´t test the locked cards/challenge3 since i got no clue what i´m allowed to have in my deck in the challenges.

got a rough idea what to build, but couldn´t figure out exactly what you want from me for the challenge.there should be a rough description of what the challenge is about when you start it.

tried every challenge in challenge3 but couldn´t play any.

march of the mashines2 suggests that it is simmilar to march of the mashines - so i build an all artifact deck ... but it doesn´t seem to be what you wanted.really got no clue what to try ... and i´m not trying to skip to put lands in there or any other BS.
challenge mode 1+2 pissed me off enough so i won´t even bother with challenge3.i don´t mean to be rude , just got too upset with the other challenges.

Triadasoul- until I'm ready to officially release this version, don't add the other records to Magic.exe. I'll be making changes to that file (and the csv) and we'd just clobber each other's work. Thanks again.

Whenever I run csv2dat I get an error... ERROR at offset 0x7B7CE!

i removed the link a few hours ago to prevent this :roll:

this lotus cobra is so ridiculous with fetchlands + crop rotation .
especially when you use crop rotation on the land you´ve fetched to get another fetchland.
harrow is even funnier with 2 cobras online...its a shame you can´t combine different landfall abilities yet (so far only lotus cobra´s landfall seems to "stack" ,so once you add anything else with landfall you have to decide and can´t have the other effects #-o ).
hope jatill can fix this somehow.

offtopic:
Ob Nixilis, the Fallen is still my favorite from this patch.i wonder if it will see any tournament play.along with some accelaration this thing can be really dangerous when you can´t handle it fast enough - and it is even more of a threat when it is coming late midgame with a few unused fetchlands on the table!
still seems to be balanced since it has got no evasion and should enter the game relative late (5cc).
the funny thing about it is that you can plan ahead and slow your mana development a bit during midgame (put fetchlands into the game but not using them) to go bonkers once it hit the table.
definatly a fun card to play with , doubt that there is any room for it in constructed tournaments.hmm maybe along with the cobra and like 12+ fetchies.
its definatly no card that will rot in the binder. was surprised that the prices where still that "low" for the card.

Thanks for the link. So far I have noticed one thing but I'm not sure if it's a bug ot not. If you have a propaganda type effect in play the AI can atttack your plainswalkers directly instead without paying anything.

My favorite card is Bloodchief Ascension, after you get some counters on it you can mill your opponent to death. Or you can wrath them out of the game. Also I noticed now when I use jaces L3 ability it just mills myself.

update the smarttarget files (TargetsAI.txt/TargetsHuman.txt in your game folder), i´ve fixed this months ago but jatill keeps uploading the patches with outdated targeting files.

jace was put into TargetsHuman because of his -1 (target player draws a card).Unfortunatly Jace will target the same player with his ultimate.So you better remove him from the TargetsHuman.txt .

smarttargeting is easy to config:
If you want a spell to always target you/your permanents put the spell ID in TargetsHuman.txt .
If you want a spell to always target the opponent/his permanents put the ID into TargetsAI.txt .

Note: smart-targeting will just be used when there is just a single legal target (usually defined by the 2 lists . If the spell is not listed usually no autotargeting will be used.)

you can activate/deactivate the feature in the config.txt in your game folder.
SmartTarget:0 // = off . Autotargeting will not be used.
SmartTarget:1 // = on . Autotargeting will be used.

Triadasoul-
I've released the first wave of Zendikar cards. Now we can work on adding all the rest. There are 3 things to do:

1) Merge in your other csv and add all the rest of cards to the exe.
2) Update the Rarity for ALL Zendikar cards from 00X00 to 000X0.
3) Go through the list of cards that are currently in 4th edition and change their ext rarity to put a 0 in the 4th digit.

So assuming you're willing to continue helping, have at it!

A few reminders:
1) I already added in Cosi's Trickster and Plated Geopede.
2) Don't forget the 'Equipment' subtype for equipment
3) For lands, don't forget to set their color in the exe to the color of mana they produce

I´m going to need the ID´s for the artwork.

A updated list of cards you can NOT code would be helpfull to prevent useless entries.

Eldrazi Monument (can't do indestrubtible)
Grappling Hook (double strike)
Kor Duelist (double strike)
Lullmage Mentor (can't tell when a spell is countered)
Quest for Pure Flame (can't tell the source of damage)
Warren Instigator (double strike)
