Collectible Card Game Headquarters

Not so much a bug, as a question. Why does Karn Liberated use legacy cards to keep track of cards it has exiled? Couldn't it function more like Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver, with an option to look at cards exiled with it? I only ask because in a game of any length Karn's collection of legacy cards gets unwieldy very quickly.

The answer is that different developers went on different coding paths.We do have a lot of these.
