I think it has something to do with lands that don't produce mana, like Bazaar and especially Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale, which the AI wont play at all unless the sun shines very brightly.

yea sometimes i wish we could have a dedicated AI programmer and then the Card programmers like we have now. i believe this would be an unstoppable team..yes i can wish
