Protection cards are sometimes coded with code that removes enchantments, and sometimes not. So I wouldn't try to use any of those.

.1297 4 Watchwolf
.1369 4 Woolly Thoctar
.13 4 Benalish Hero
.1558 4 Elite Vanguard
.76 4 Elvish Archers
.1400 4 Elvish Ranger
.1277 4 Longbow Archer
.213 4 Savannah Lions
.247 4 Timber Wolves
.212 4 Savannah
.189 4 Plateau
.241 4 Taiga
.188 4 Plains
.91 4 Forest
.206 4 Roc of Kher Ridges
Fairly typical vanilla weenies. The only surprise is probably Roc of Kher Ridges, which I used because it has flying, and enemy flyers seemed to give this deck problems, which is also the reason for Longbow Archer.
One other thing, Programmer's Delight is 9 rounds, and on round 9, it is always a mirror match, and the AI gets Glorious Anthem in play. The Roc went all the distance the match I won, as I traded early for two enemy longbow archers, and then after we stalemated with about 8-9 creatures each, I drew a Roc which went unopposed. It took me a couple evenings, and I got to round 9 about four times before beating it.

You could have run like Serra Angel in that slot...

Are you sure? I didn't think vigilance was an ability allowed.

Okay your right I just assumed it would work since it didn't have any special abilities.
But Thunder Spirit does work in that slot as an alternative.

Yeah, that's true, though I had fun using the Roc just because I rarely use it for anything I have a soft spot for cards I used as a noob, and Roc was one of those. (I just wish I'd picked up dual lands when they were freaking six bucks each... but I was too noobish to realize how good they were until they were like $10-15, and now it's just ridiculous, lol)
There were several other cards I tried to use but that didn't work, such as Isamaru, Paladin en-Vec, White Knight, Silver Knight, Llanowar Knight; the protection guys Jatill said it has to do with being coded against enchantments somehow, and I'd guess Isamaru must have code for being legendary.
Oh, and 'regenerate' is not allowed in this challenge; I tried River Boa and Mire Boa, but they were rejected.

Could we get some more lists for Enter the Dragon. I have had trouble with this one more then most of the challenges I have completed.
I have yet to get past like 4-5 rounds in that one and on most of them I can easily get past that part.

And I went with White Weenie for Programmer's Delight:
.1558 4 Elite Vanguard

Completely missed on the Thunder Spirit (over Wild Griffin), although in hindsight, the Griffin might have been a better choice anyway, as the only real hard round is the last one, and the AI having 3/3 flyers with first strike might have made that round harder lol.

Has anybody finished all 20 rounds of the Pit Fighting Challenge? If so, does it unlock anything extra besides the original Pit Scorpion bonus? It should, the later rounds of that challenge are reeeaaalllly hard
Just lost in round 20 after surviving the initial wave of too many Pit Scorpions to count... couldn't draw a 3rd land after Balance to play a creature and stop the AI poisoning me with fresh Scorps

You made it to round 20!?! You deserve a freaking medal! I made it to 15, once. There is no prize beyond the Pit Scorpion.somacat wrote:Has anybody finished all 20 rounds of the Pit Fighting Challenge? If so, does it unlock anything extra besides the original Pit Scorpion bonus? I finaly had time to come back to challenge mode, and beat enchanted with this:
Though unlike in standard play, you only need one Kobold to go off, Cloudstone Curio does not check for 'other' in this game.
There is not much to say, other than it is non-tendrils storm. Fun and different.;Kobold Storm
