Soooo, I find Planeswalker Decimation a really fun challenge but have yet to beat it without Belcher, GrimLong or other one turn kill decks (I did that already). So far I've tried Affinity (didn't have the luck Aww was talking about given I got steamrolled by the planeswalker's abilities over and over again...), Infect/Hatred, Soldiers, Polymorph and some other weird ones but none have gotten the job done yet. Any ideas?

Maybe some sore of masknaught deck with Phyrexian Dreadnaught and Illusionary Mask? I have no idea if it will work, though.

Suicide black might do the trick, too. You could also splash white for Vindicate, or instead green for Maelstrom Pulse or Pernicious Deed, or maybe Tarmogoyf. That might have the speed to win and the planeswalker destruction you may well need.

Still no idea why AI wouldn't use planeswalkers very often against me. Guess it's just n00b luck :D

Here's a fun little concoction that got me to round 9 but a horrible hand and 4 mulligans that couldn't fix it screwed me over... :(

(Tip o' the hat to TitanMD since this list is based off of the one he came up with for the Epic Challenge --> viewtopic.php?f=57&t=4066&p=56304#p56304)

4 Dwarven Ruins
4 Ebon Stronghold
4 Havenwood Battleground
4 Gemstone Mine
4 City of Brass
4 Forbidden Orchard

4 Show and Tell
4 Hypergenesis
4 Demonic Dread
4 Violent Outburst

4 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn
4 Kozilek, Butcher of Truth
4 Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre
4 Blightsteel Colossus
4 Flame-Kin Zealot

My modifications to his list, with all the restrictions this challenge poses in mind (especially Oath of Druids being useless!), were all based on SPEED; it might be a big risk not to include Eureka, but Flame-Kin Zealot allows you to attack immediately, which means: a) game over for the AI on turn 2 or 3, especially with Blightsteel Colossus on the table or b) victory in the face of defeat by a Lightning Bolt to the face or a 3/3 Kithkin bashing you in the head to leave you at a very frustrating 2 life (in this challenge, a turn 3 Eureka to attack on turn 4 is too slow, especially with Chandra Nalaar and Garruk Wildspeaker).
Also, it's absolutely mandatory to have as many bombs as possible in your opening hand because you don't get any time at all to recover from a bad draw...
Aaaand, since 4 of the 5 creatures shuffle your graveyard into your library, you'll last much longer if for some odd reason the game lasts more than 4 turns.

I'm trying to go a different, and probably harder, way to beat this - I've made an aggressive elf deck. I'd prefer to go combo / Natural Order, but that seems impossible with the constant discarding every turn, so instead I've gone for a deck that builds for 3-4 turns and then tries to go for the kill in one or two attacks. The problem is that one important card hasn't been coded: Sylvan Messenger, the Goblin Ringleader of elves, which would help in preventing me from running out of elves to cast. So any suggestions on how to make this better, especially more consistent, would be appreciated!

.1564 4 Elvish Archdruid
.1024 3 Elvish Champion
.180 1 Ezuri, Renegade Leader
.1293 4 Fyndhorn Elves
.149 4 Llanowar Elves
.1461 3 Imperious Perfect
.1974 4 Priest of Titania
.1995 3 Quirion Ranger
.1934 3 Heritage Druid
.1939 4 Nettle Sentinel
.1360 3 Wren's Run Vanquisher
.91 14 Forest
.319 2 Gaea's Cradle
.165 1 Mox Emerald
.17 1 Black Lotus
.230 1 Sol Ring
.740 1 Pendelhaven
.1856 4 Glimpse of Nature

I've had success with Regal Force in this style of deck. I think if I were you I'd take out the Elvish Champions, since they aren't really needed, and put in another Heritage Druid and some Regal Force.

Oh, and that elf that costs 1G and cantrips (I forgot the name) is also pretty good here; maybe use that instead of the vanquishers?

I'm tearing my hair out on this one. I tried using the Affinity deck Aww posted in the Challenge tutorial thread and get consistently slaughtered. The Planeswalker AI must have been improved since then, because if I'm lucky enough to make it to the round with 5 planeswalkers, I almost always die within the first 2-3 turns because it uses all 5 of them every round, every time. Honestly, it's very, very rare that Planeswalkers are not used every single turn in each match, for me at least.

It's still very fun and I enjoy the challenge mode additions greatly. But man, some of these are ruthless.

WOW! I FINALLY BEAT THIS!!!! Used a Goblin Belcher / Empty the Warrens deck. I believe there's simply NO WAY to beat it with the affinity deck now that the Planeswalker AI is improved, especially on Round 6 when the opponent has 5 planeswalkers. But Belcher deck can beat it if it gets Belcher up on turn 1 (Empty the warrens is too slow for that round). Afterward, the later rounds are not as difficult as Round 6, although Round 10 was a bit of a challenge with Nikol Bolas blowing things up. Anyway, now I'm done with every challenge except Magic: The Puzzling, which I don't think I'll ever be able to beat. Good luck to all, here was what I used:

After playing a bit with your deck, I can tell that:
- there is a deck in this challenge that loop the game, will have to found out which since they are randomly taken from a predefined list
- The last round is a mirror match and game think one or more cards from your deck is illegal, will have to find out which one

Got no problem with Belcher though
