Equipoise: how can we use it with THIS game?

I'm a bit doubtful about this card, since it had some great use for combos but now I really can't find any use for it, except using it as a poor aid to phase out any creature left from AI for defense or lands untapped for countering my own spells.
I've tried with Kismet and Stasis, but the combo don't work because permanents come back at the beginning of untap step, I think.
The only combos that I can see are with Æther Flash or Ank of Mishra!! Any idea?
