This is a list of the Top 10 Magic 2013 M13 core set cards by volume purchased according to our website database. Throught this hotlist we can know that which cards are currently popular for players looking to buy.
1. Cathedral of War
At first glance, Cathedral of War is a boring land coming in tapped that just taps for a colorless mana. But it has Exalted. This means if you play four of these, suddenly all of your creatures look a lot more threatening.
2. Ajani, Caller of the Pride
This is a pretty good planeswalker for only 1WW. The -3 is probably the best part here, as you can use it immediately without losing him and give something flying and double strike. Getting in for a quick few damage is always a good thing, and since he’s only 3 mana to cast, you could easily play 3 or 4 of him in a deck easily.
3. Chandra, the Firebrand
4. Elderscale Wurm
When he enters the battlefield, if your life total is less than 7, Elderscale Wurm restores you back to 7 life. The other good news is that you basically become invincible to combat damage as long as he’s on the board and you’re at 7 life.
5. Gilded Lotus
Gilded Lotus, 5 Artifact, Rare : Add three mana of any one color to your mana pool.
Here is an interesting Mirrodin Rare reprint. This may be good for Commander / EDH but we are apprehensive about any standard constructed application at this time.
6. Omniscience
Omniscience, 7UUU Enchantment, Mythic Rare.
You may cast nonland cards from your hand without paying their mana costs.
7. Master of the Pearl Trident
Other Merfolk you control get +1/+1 and have islandwalk.
Merfolk has already topped an Open because of this card. Wizards must really want Merfolk to win, because the only reason that this card exists is to make Merfolk bigger and bigger.
8. Talrand, Sky Summoner
9. Rhox Faithmender
10. Sublime Archangel
