Might be some reproduction of what has gone before at BGG, but if there are any "recommended" combinations of Kingdom cards could these be shared below?

What's I'd be curious for is what cards people used to unlock the win 5 in a row achievement. That's the 1 achievement I haven't been able to complete. I tried picking a set of "bad" actions (i.e. ones I recommend you never buy), but that just caused me to get trounced worse. Next I'm going to try all 3-cost cards, so maybe the AI will never buy Silver :)

For dominator I use this:
Dominator:
Smithy
Treasury
Chancellor
Council Room
Chapel
Ironworks
Throne Room
Remodel
Bridge
Cellar
AI will try to use Smithy/Ironworks/Throne Room/Treasury combo.
You will do Chancellor/Big Money strategy which nets you 90% win chance agains AI.

Here's how to play:
Buy Chancellor then Silver. Now you need to get Big Money! so start by buying silver / gold when you have enough and always use Chancellor ability to reshuffle your discard pile into your deck. Once you get 3-4 gold, 3-5 silver and start getting 8+ gold start buying provinces. If you get 6 gold at this stage you need to calculate what percentage of your deck consist of gold/silver vs victory cards, if it's ~50% or more then you buy duchies otherwise buy gold to retrain a good chance to get ~8 gold to buy those provinces.

With this strategy and this card set I had like 30+ winning streak at which point I went to random set to make games interesting.

Alternative strategy with the same card pool is Smithy/Big Money which works the same as the above but you replace your single Chancellor with a single Smithy. Choose whichever you like and get those 5 wins or even more!

Well, I'm not having any luck yet with this strategy (it's likely that I'm just terrible at this game), but I did manage to see a turn where the AI played 12 actions!

In the early game, do you advise buying Gold even when you have 8 coins?

Most of the time I get Province to get an early start however if you don't have any gold yet or just 1-2 you might want to take gold if AI hasn't begun buying provinces yet.

You can mod card pool to cripple AI any card -> Adventurer (dead AI card; I haven't seen AI playing it). There are others but I don't remember which ones.

You can watch some sample games here. Even if I loose it's no more than 5 points.

I watched your You Tube video Snacko and found it very enlightening as I am still a raw rookie to this great game. My wife & I just got the real game recently and we are also using jatill's app to continue to play and learn with it.

I played a number of games using the Kingdom decks you describe above and played it with the strategy you suggested. Indeed, the win rate was around 90 %! I wasn't able to unlock the 5 wins in a row achievement yet, but I did win 4 in a row during two different runs.

The thing I like most about this game is looking for different Kingdom card combinations that we get to choose from for the start of a game, then trying to figure out the best strategy to win using the cards that we use to build our decks by utilizing the Kingdom cards best suited for that chosen strategy.

Thanks for the tips & the video and even more, for making me think of better ways to choose and play with the myriad of choices offered to us with the Kingdom cards and what we can do with them!
