Any chance of making an Innovation AI?

OK, so if we're posting card game wishlists, this would definitely be on the top of my list. Mechanically, the programming wouldn't be bad, but I'd think that the AI coding would be challenging to say the least.

Oy! More of a computer gamer than a card/board gamer I take it? Innovation recently won the 2010 BGG Card Game of the Year award. I certainly voted for it. Here's a link to the BGG page : http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/63888/innovation
At the bottom of that page are some videos and they might be best for you to get a decent quick idea on how the game works. Getting images for the cards (or making your own) wouldn't be impossible, but if you've never even heard of it, that does seem to make programming the AI difficult to say the least.

Jatill mentioned this one a few times in PM's with you but might not have registered. It is BGG's card game of the year (as voted by the voters!!)

I love the premise and it looks like a lot of fun. How easy is it to learn?

Very easy to learn but a life time to master... no thats another game!! Seriously though, initially you spend a lot of time reading the "dogmas" but this becomes easier. Lots on interaaction and variation -recommended.Huggybaby wrote:I love the premise and it looks like a lot of fun. How easy is it to learn?

Yeah, I agree. The rules are very simple. Figuring out how to exploit them with the cards you have is where the challenge is.
