Deck Building, Please Help
by Astaroth » 13 Sep 2013, 17:51
I was happily playing DOTP with my new deck and now for some reason all I get is mana every turn, I've tried lowering the mana and I get no ccards at all. Note that my deck is more than 100 cards, but I like to keep it that way. It was working fine until I did something and now I can't play my deck.
Any thoughts?

If you can't remember what was that "something" you did, it's hard to tell... you say you get mana every turn, but what do you see in the deck manager? Are the cards still there?

I can see the cards in the deck manager but then they don't come up in game.

Then I'm clueless... maybe someone who experimented with decks with more than 60 cards can be more helpful, I never tried.

I experimented with decks containing more than 100 cards extensively with 2013 and there was a cap of 255 cards before the game would give problems. With 2014 there seems to be an imposed limit of ONLY 100 cards. I tested this by adding extra cards after composing a few decks an although the game accepted the additional cards it always warned that there can only be up to 100 cards in a library. I'll do some more tests and give so feedback. Additionally, you may want to check the deckOrderId of the cards to make sure they're not using the same number as other cards in your deck. I know that causes problems. The numbers must start with 0 and continue on through. Notice the screenshot of the deckOrderId atop.
