Seems that he "complete bundle" will cost you 34.99
Honestly this game looks like the weakest of all the DotP content wise but they want to charge us 3x the price for it and not even include 2HG.

Yep. Unless someone tells me it's really worth it, there's no way I'm getting the whole shebang. I'll stick with the $10 version and mod the rest in if possible. And if it's not possible, then I don't really want it anyway haha.

Well, I'm pretty sure they effectively got the message that no one likes the premium card pool. I didn't even know about the premium card pool. I sincerely hope we can manage to mod the game. BI imagine we will be able to. If there are people that can crack Microsoft' Windows key encryption, I'm sure this is doable.
Only one person mentioned the rarity restrictions. That's probably my most hated thing. Luckily, if we manage to mod the game, we can fix it all so everything is common.
Also, the mana pool came up, but it was pretty thoroughly presented as "That would be too complicated for new players". However, they could so easily fix that by making it so everything works on the current system normally, but holding a key (like shift or control) would make it so mana can be manually dealt with. It would easily serve both purposes.

My experience with DoTP has been initially with 2013 where I found a modded version loved it. Got 2014 and then discovered this website. One of the great things about modding is the ability to create decks, and code your own cards.
I am tossing up about getting DoTP 2015 since I don't have time to play the card MTG anymore. I might get it even without the mods depending on what modes of play there is (apparently 2HG is not available anymore) and also depending on the "storyline." Yeah I know DoTP doesn't have much of a storyline, but 2014 at least had some sort of story with you helping Chandra.
I know 2015 has deck creation, but that really doesn't come close to what can be done with mods.

I am getting DotP 2015 mainly for the access to always updated official files. This will allow me to play around with the files and see if they can be modded and what functions we will have. If it can't be modded then it's a bit of a waste of $10 (since I spend more time modding than playing), but then at least I'll know to avoid future versions.
For most other people I would generally recommend a wait and see approach until we know if it is moddable. If not then most people should probably stick with previous versions of the game. In DotP 2014 we have a pretty good bit working even if some of them are approximations (manual mana, planeswalkers, bestow, heroic, etc...) so we could probably remake most if not all of the cards/decks from DotP 2015 in DotP 2014 if need be. One of the downsides is that the 2014 AI may not be able to handle some of the approximated situations that 2015 AI may be able to properly handle, but then again DotP's AI isn't necessarily very good to begin with.

Yea the date is tomorrow. I'm pretty excited to finally get a hold of it. Hopefully we'll be able to start modding it soon. Judging by the thread below, Stainless (I think) was pretty busy making cards this year. Upfront it seems like more than what they made last year but who knows, it might be around the same as last years.

2. Is there a "storyline" like in DotP 2014? That is do we have videos of your interaction with Garruk just like there was with Chandra?
3. Modding - the usual stuff. Is it modable and how does the new deck builder work with our modding software like Riaak's modding tools.
4. What play formats are there?
DotP 2012 had Archenemy, 2013 had Planechase (not that good) and 2014 had sealed deck. Personally I never got into sealed deck, and I am more interested if they try something different like Commander or bring back Archenemy. I would so love to mod a deck just for this format playing as the Archenemy (life gaining decks) or playing against the Archenemy (milling decks). Unfortunately I only got into modding for DotP 2014.
If it doesn't have a new format or any storyline, the only reason I would consider getting it is the ability to mod. The deck builder capability would have been a winner for me a few years ago, but since I discovered fan mods its no longer that great for me.

We don't yet know if it is moddable as we don't yet have the PC game nor have we figured out the game file format yet (based on the iPad version it does not appear to be WAD anymore). 2. Yes, from what I can tell there is a new story for Garruk but since I don't have it yet I can't confirm.

4. There are no new formats and there are no variant formats (like planeschase). The only game types are free for all for 2, 3 or 4 players.
