Collectible Card Game Headquarters

Hello I been lurking since dotp 2013 and thank you all for the amazing .WAD work to unlock everything without the insane grind, without this I would have never bought these games.

I don't know anything about coding but I do have a question regarding unlocking premium cards.

I been fooling around with the pirated CODEX version and i observe that you get completely new random premium booster packs if you delete your profile in this path

C:\Users\USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\Steam\CODEX\255420

This CODEX version starts with everything unlocked(except premium boosters) as soon as you beat Avacyn in the Innistrad campaign. You get two random premium boosters when you beat Avacyn and every time I delete my profile and start fresh, I get slightly different premium unlocks. The percentage of unlocks always end up being somewhere around 88% of course.

Here is my question, is it possible what you unlock can be manipulated in the PROFILE folder some how? Is it possible to edit some of these files in the said folder to trick the game into thinking you have the appropriate unlocks for all cards, and you have unlocked 4 common 3 uncommon 2 rare 1 mythic for the appropriate cards?

Edit: Technically, I only deleted profile twice because I only got this game yesterday. My impression is that I can't be certain if BOTH booster packs or random, or only ONE of the booster packs is random, because one you get for pre-ordering, and one you get for owning 2014, right? It's possible the content of one of these boosters don't change while another one is random, I know for a fact I have different cards from two diffrent profiles.

In DotP 2014 you would get different boosters based on a random number generated and stored in the profile, so when you deleted your profile (local only) and the game recreated it you would get different boosters. This did not work online as the random seed was communicated to an online server and was used for verification so if you deleted your profile on steam and recreated you would get the same seed from the online server that you had before and thus get the same boosters.

I imagine that it works very similarly in DotP 2015 in that if you are playing a cracked game (local only) and delete your profile then you get a new random seed and thus different boosters. Though WotC and Stainless have already stated that the premium boosters are only semi-randomized so that you only need 14 boosters to get all of the premium cards. This may be why you are seeing similar, but different results from your two profiles.

As for changing the profile, we don't currently know how to do that as profiles in DotP 2015 are encrypted in some way.

Hi all,
I've got Codex version and I've a question too. I want to do the opposite of Saka: there's a way to disable full unlock as soon as you beat Avacyn? I can't manage 900 new cards in one time, and I don't like playing anymore a game where everything is unlocked...!! I don't know, it's fault of preorder dlc?
Can I edit some configurations to make this game just like the original?

I don't think you get different cards with a new profile. On ipad I deleted and restarted. All the premium boosters were the same.

When I deleted my profile and started over using the Codex version my premium boosters changed.

He was referring to the previous games, not to DotP2015.

People are still trying to figure that out.

You can get all except the premiums in about 5 minutes on PC:

1) Get either cracked version
2) Get the autokill trainer
3) Autokill all the Innistrad enemies
4) All non-premium cards + 2 premium boosters get unlocked

I unlocked just about everything but the premium cards + 2 boosters with the CODEX crack. It also seems to work with the 3DM crack if you restart the game after beating Innistrad.

Got a quick question that's prolly atleast 99% illegal: Is there some way to get the Premium cards in the game without having to fork over such an exorbitant amount of money?

Unknown, we still don't have a way of truly opening the ZED files and looking at their contents.

Aw, that's too bad. Hopefully it will come soon. I'm getting tired of Premium players having a noticeable advantage in multiplayer.
