Delete "Vivid Grove" from the deck and then add it again if you need it.
After that the deck will save normally.

I is for some reason present in the deck but the quantity is 0.
I will be figuring out how this could possibly happen.

I could figure out what's happened using your history folder.
Could you close Mtgdb.Gui (then the history gets saved to the disk) and send me a .zip with \history folder?

UPDATE: I figured out.
0. Add 2 or more cards to the deck
1. Add another card to the deck
2. Begin dragging the card to change it's position within the deck
3. While dragging press Ctrl+Z. It removes the currently dragged card from the deck
4. Drop the dragged card within the deck

As a result you have a card within a deck with count 0.

Thanks for reporting the bug, Aidscoi. Figuring it out was fun :)

Hey. I just found this program and think it's amazing. But i can't really get it to work.

I'm using patch 3.2.1.3. When i open it there are no images for the cards. When i try to download the imgages it says:

"ERROR: Download failed for /filelist for sync/filelist.txt: Data download failed: Server returned 509
Found 0 directories for quality 'art' in configuration
Looking up downloaded images...
MQ: 0/217 directories, 0/33147 files"

And if i click on update mtgdb.gui it says:

"Checking version online...
Error: Download failed for /FileList/filelist.txt: Data download failed: Server returned 509"

Then it crashes.

I dont know whether it's a problem on my end or yours. I would appreciate your help. Im will attach my logs. Go easy with me, I'm no expert with computers and programms and stuff^^

ERROR: Download failed for /filelist for sync/filelist.txt: Data download failed: Server returned 509
Hi! Thanks for good words about the program, and for logs too :)

509 Is the error code Mega.nz returns when a user exceeds its traffic (download) quota.

You see it either
- because you use Mega.nz storage for other purposes and the day you tried to download the images you have already downloaded a lot
- because of the failure on the side of Mega.nz

The same 509 happened to myself a couple of times because I used much traffic to upload/download the images to Mega myself.

You can try downloading images next day and very probable it will work OK.

If it doesn't the only option to get the images is manual download using torrent client.
It is difficult because it requires you to read and modify XML configuration file
Mtgdb.Gui\etc\Mtgdb.Gui.xml, so you will be required to understand XML syntax and how to comment and uncomment XML tags.

for example:
Code: Select all
      <!--
High quality images for older sets
         Total size: 13.6 GB
use the following magnet link to download with torrent client
         magnet:?xt=urn:btih:b07f3c3b288b20d49f5bbedcdf73214045abcce5&dn=XLHQ-Sets-Torrent&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Ftracker.openbittorrent.com%3A80&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Fopentor.org%3A2710&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Ftracker.ccc.de%3A80&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Ftracker.blackunicorn.xyz%3A6969&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Ftracker.coppersurfer.tk%3A6969&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Ftracker.leechers-paradise.org%3A6969
      -->
      <!--
      <Directory Zoom="Any" Path="images\XLHQ-Sets-Torrent" />
      -->

Okay. Thanks for the reply. It actually did work. I downloaded it over night. I might have tried it too often the first time, because i accidentally deletet everything I dowloaded that far.

I'm happy it works now and gonna try it out :)

Hi, i'm thinking about the new feature "wishlist" to add cards or more copy of current cards already have to shopping list ( to use filter and get the list when needed ). Also maybe hashtag/label feature to mark which card good for particular Format ( Commander, Brawl ..ect ). All about help user quick to use filter to get the card they already interested

I understand this part.

to add cards or more copy of current cards already have to shopping list
Do you mean a button to open some MTG shop in web browser with cards you already selected in Mtgdb.Gui?
I thought of such possibility some month ago. e.g. MCM (http://www.cardmarket.com/magic) has a public API for integration.

I just think it's like a mark for wishlist, same as label. but maybe we have new button beside deck statistic call "cart" then this new window is list of card with it's price, maybe shortcut to website for buy.

Got it. I am thinking of the feature you want as a Deck or Binder (like MTGO binder) organizer.
Then you would write a query like following:

binder: (wishlist AND "good for commander") AND price: [0 TO 10]

Binders and Decks would be editable like Decks are now, but also have some sort of User Interface more similar to Hashtags
to make binder management interface more natural.

I see it as a great idea, thanks Aidscoi!

It's up to you. If you don't need changes, you can stay with Mega.

+ Google drive download is faster.
- They 'check for viruses' on each download attempt. Download link stops working when file is larger than a threshold. It returns a page (see https://drive.google.com/uc?id=0B_zQYOT ... t=download) where you need to click a button to actually download. In case of Mtgdb.Gui it will download this page instead of actual file. Previously the limit was 60MB, now it has obviously decreased, because my 56MB Mtgdb.Gui.zip does not fit anymore.
- I don't know how 'safe' Google drive is from banning my account due to copyright request from Wizards. From the formal point of view there is no difference between hosting in Mega.nz or Google Drive, but there may be practical difference. I can imagine Google responding faster, less formal and less reluctant to a copyright claim.

Hi

An awesome tool you made. I use it a lot.

pls correct me if this is not the place for crash reports ...

It crashes (repeatable) when i enter "exile target creature" into the searchbar.

Even tried it with a clean install (no images downloaded).

after some trying i found it only happens if the searchstring has a format like
Code: Select all
"arg1 arg2" arg3 (arg3 does not matter)
+"arg1 arg2" arg3
it does not crash if i dont use a space charakter in between the two args
Code: Select all
"arg1arg2" arg3 (arg3 does not matter)
"arg "
" arg"
ErrorLog attached

edit:
Win10x64 with latest updates

i hope this helps
regards,
lcrd
