[Fixed I don't know why a Custom deck starts with 30 life

Postby FranAvalon » 15 Jul 2017, 19:24

Hello,

Today, I was trying for the first time the community wad for DotP2014 and the Riiak's Deck builder. I did a custom deck and exported it as a Wad file. All seems to work fine. The wad and txt files were created in the game's folder.

I run the game, select one player custom game and choose my custom deck. When the game starts, I can see, during the mulligan selection, that the life value is for both players 20. However, when the game starts the life value for both players is set to 30.

What I am doing wrong?

Thanks in advance

EDIT: I've fixed it changing the basic lands to automatic.

When adding basic lands manually, you'll need to make sure you don't accidentally add the basic lands whose filenames (make sure the "Filename" column is visible) contain "COMMANDER". When you make an EDH deck, you add exactly one of those lands to your deck to tell the game it's an EDH deck, which in 2-player games, means a starting life total of 30. This is the issue you ran into.

thx, that was the cause of my problem. I add lands automaticaly since them.
It's ok to add them manually. Just make sure not to include the ones with "COMMANDER" in the filename. There are only 6, one for each basic land. (Including Wastes)
