Hi! is there a possibility than we can have hosted here a subforum about editing the new MTG DOTP game? some guy released an unpacker/converter and i made a few cards from alpha set. thats a good start dont you think?

I think it's a good idea. I'll check with GH and if he's OK with it I'll make one.

Do you have a link? I saw mention of it on the Steam forums but the original posts were deleted. They mentioned the name of the guy who had released the editor but when I googled his name I couldn't find anything. I did find this: http://forums.somethingawful.com/showth ... t378562751

<edit> The new forum is here, let's bend this sucker to our will, CCGHQ style!

The nick of the guy is gibbed bud is see you already found that :) he is the guy who released the unpacker and the img converter, and if you searhc that forum you will find the deck editor too made by another user. Sadly theres no talk about LUA scripting but i think thats the easy part of all at least in the cards i already coded.

I started with a little explanation on the card/XML layout for those who dont have an idea of the format. Im thinking about a folders/file structure tutorial too but thats self explanatory. Any ideas of what to do next? a deeper view of functions? well not so deep i barely understand some :)
if anyone is interested i made a "fake" dlc wich contains a ready to play "empty deck" and the cards i made until now

Put all your downloads in that post: viewtopic.php?f=62&t=2788
Also, add some pictures, those are important.. The more tutorials the better.

I'll make it a sticky, and hopefully we'll get some more people to join you soon, so spread the word. 8)

That host doesn't give very good links, I suggest ImageShack.

I resized the spreadsheet one because it would never fit here, but if you want to use a thumbnail to link to the full size that's cool too.
