2011 Online Gem missing.

2011 Online Gem missing.

When I launch the 2009 release of Shandalar, patched to the 2011 version, it shows the Online Gem. I can attempt to host a game or join a game but it always spits out an error, even with the Auto options disabled. Every subsequent launch doesn't show the gem. Any help?
