I'm still downloading (damn links that seem fast at first and then slow down a lot...) but I should be ready to play in a hour or so. :D

I'm waiting for my download to finish, after that I can do it.

I'm looking at the wad's with hex editor and found Swell of Courage (277150.xml). I think is good news for cycling. Edit: Found Gempalm Incenerator, think cycling is definitely there.

Edit: Also saw Chancellor of the Spires (27717.xml) and Chancellor of the Forge. Good news for "opening/starting hand" abilities.

Also liked to see Grindstone.

I only checked a few wads. For now i haven't seen any infect or planeswalker.

The Skidrow version is out now. Don't know the difference though. Haven't tried both.

Too bad, the link that was here expired. :(

I just completed Shandalar and then made a Planechase match, but I lost... the AI was super-lucky with the Chaos rolls. :(

MisterBenn wrote:one of the Plane cards in game does have "All creatures have {T}: Deal 1 Damage to target creature or player" so it looks like dynamic activated abilities are in. :)
I saw that plane in play and I had a Chaos roll in it, but I didn't have the chance to activate it (the only creature I had was just summoned) and the AI didn't activate it either.

EDIT: Wow, that encounter with the Helix and the Cloudposts wasn't easy... I tried once with Taldram's deck but I was too slow, then with Chandra's and I lost again, finally with Chandra's again and I won at the last available turn thanks to Fire Servant.

I'm still downloading the full version.

Still using the hex editor to look at the demo i found:
Odric, Master Tactician - I want to look at the code of this one.
Decree Of savagery, Jhessian Zombies, Igneous Pouncer - More cycling
Future Sight - the play the top card of your library, this should be good new for a PlaySpell (not for free)
Slave of Bolas - uses hybrid mana, hope it's correctly implemented.

Still looking at the rest of the wads :)

Right now I'm looking inside the executable in order to find the names of the LUA functions... having some examples to search would make it quicker, but I'm hoping to have the list ready when we can mod. :)
Some functions I just saw: GrantAbility, LoseAllAbilities... how do those sound? 8)

Rick, we are counting on you for the new Gibbed tools! [-o<

Those funtions sound awesome. Hope they are fully implemented, and not abandoned half way like planeswalker were in 2012.

Another great news. I just read Gut Shot in a wad (the Deck_0020_CH.wad). Think they did implement phyrexian mana.

The part of the executable that lists the mana symbols has also k,l,m,n,o,p. I bet 5 of them are for Phyrexian mana... but the 6th?

And there are also CHARACTERISTIC_WITHER and CHARACTERISTIC_INFECT... we still have to see if they are just placeholders like Changeling in 2012.

I think one is for phyrexian mana, like some modifier instead of pay G, pay GP. The others are probably for mixed mana.

Hybrid mana could be from {a} to {j} as before (when writing on the card text).

I really don't like the planechase game. It's chaotic.
The cards are overpowered. And encounters make no sense. The hidra one is hard but, still.

I've been digging through the executable and I have some lists of value names and functions that may be useful in modding (building cards specifically), but there was so much in the exe as far as text goes I'm not sure I'll be able to make sense of it all. But some of it looks quite promising like SetHasCounterType and AddCharacteristic for filters.

I won it just a few minutes ago, with Chandra's deck... I tried other decks but I think it's almost impossible with other decks (unless you are really lucky), while Chandra burns all the hydras before getting hit and sets some pumpable dragons on the field. :)
Stats say that my colour is red... of course it is, since it's the best choice for many encounters!

Well if they are just placeholders then I'll just have to code them in like I did for DotP 2010.
