You can use cards from other installed wads without copying them over to a new deck directory. So once a card is coded it never needs to be recoded or copied to another location to be used.missalexis wrote:What I was wondering is if when I create my own deck can I use the cards in the M13 deck without copying them over into my own deck directory? Looking at the other decks from what I could understand the game would search the DLC 0999 directory. Also I couldn't seem to understand the difference between a ST & CH deck.
ST and CH represent naming standards for decks (though they are not actually necessary) many people use them to make identifying a deck inside a wad easier (assuming there is only one deck inside the wad).
ST = Standard Deck
CH = Challenge Deck

I just wanted to add that you can name your decks as you like, without following the convention of the original decks, the only requisite is the WAD name starting with "Deck" (or "Data_DLC" but I suggest you to forget this because I think it's confusing to use the DotP2012 naming while still having to use the DotP2013 directory structure).
