So I download the Skidrow version and installed Rick's.dll.
Nothing changed.
What can I do?

Well, unless you downloaded and installed a mod I wouldn't really expect anything to be different from official other than not being able to play online.

I did install mods and custom decks, but they're not appearing when I play the game.
Also: 2013

Ok, so you have 2013 (Skidrow) with Rick's dll (d3dx9_43.dll). So give us some more information:DragonL0rd132 wrote:I did install mods and custom decks, but they're not appearing when I play the game.
Also: 2013
- Where did you install the Skidrow version to? (If you have official and installed it to the Steam directory then Steam may have "corrected" the installed version.)
- Is Rick's dll in the correct directory? (This may not be true if you have official as well, you could have accidentally put it into the official game directory instead of the Skidrow directory.)
- Are you running the game from the directory where the Skidrow version is? (This may not be true if you have official as well, you could inadvertently be running that version instead of the Skidrow version.)
- What mods did you download?
- Did you unzip/unrar the mods?
- Where did you put the WADs? (If you have multiple versions it could be possible you put them into the wrong version.)
- Did you try the mods individually? (To eliminate the possibility that they are conflicting.)
Some of these are simple questions which you may look at and think "Do they think I'm stupid?", but sometimes the problem comes from missing something simple so when there is a problem we have to check and make sure that all the simple stuff has been done and done properly.

I figure it is going to be something stupid, hence the title.
Program Files -> Wizards of the Coast -> Duels 2013
Yes, with the .exe Program Files -> Wizards of the Coast -> Duels 2013
yes
Thefiremind's DotP2013 DLC and DOTP 2013 Community DLC MOD SVN r27
yes all download extracted
Program Files -> Wizards of the Coast -> Duels 2013, with the other WADs
How? It is a possibility but how would I know or test it?
Thanks for your time.

To test the mods individually, you can move the WADs from the game folder to another folder temporarily.DragonL0rd132 wrote:How? It is a possibility but how would I know or test it?
For example thefiremind's mod (v5b) uses these WADs:
- Deck_1999_Core.wad
- Deck_199901_ST.wad
- Deck_199902_ST.wad
- Deck_199903_ST.wad
- Deck_199904_ST.wad
- Deck_199905_ST.wad
- Deck_199906_ST.wad
- Deck_199907_ST.wad
- Deck_199908_ST.wad
- Deck_199909_ST.wad
- Deck_199910_ST.wad
- Deck_199911_ST.wad
- Deck_199912_ST.wad
- Deck_199913_ST.wad
- Deck_199914_ST.wad
- Deck_199915_ST.wad
- Deck_199916_ST.wad
- Deck_1999_Cosmetic.wad (optional)
Also, just to make sure the executable is correct can you generate a checksum or hash for it? For reference the checksums/hashes I get for Skidrow are (just some of the common ones):
- Code: Select all
CRC-32: D7E0CEFA
MD5: A6A09EE5D164BE6EDD7B2BE0DCF969F0
SHA-1: C7DACB6BB0A26B4A00278103ED5E9829EB47DDE6
SHA-256: 6E830E5199D4842D04C8BCD3FC79DEA4FD5498FACA8DA6AD4388BA8631CD43D4
SHA-384: 1630061806CA8623B06ACF3E2D6F14AA7F6A08E7D965892E65B7E9BB2A6AA61B4B9196A02179BC699C06EEF2E36EE69E
SHA-512: 2A50756B897B84AE861417B0404ECD2A85A9A33A5A1CA31655CC22A4C6DE3D3E5D236E2B6B43ACD7541F30005D7390992D25D1EDA7D4D88305AE3E31D0277A02
Edit: Well, I used the directory names you provided setup the game (using the copy of Skidrow version I have), put Rick's dll in, unzipped thefiremind's mod (v5b), and unrared the community dlc (r27), started the game and saw no issues, the decks showed up in the deck manager just like they were supposed to. So reproducing the problem on my end and trying to figure it out that way isn't going to work, we're going to have to stick with getting information from you and testing things on your end.

My .rar/.zip opener was sending the files to a Temp location that should not exist.
