DotP 2014 on sale on Steam 75% Off. Gold Complete or not?

Just wondering if there is any benefits of taking the Gold Complete Edition over the Base edition with mods and unlocks? At 2.74$ vs 9.67$, that's certainly a question to ask. Especially if the Base game, at this low of a price, would entice me to take 2 copies, to play with a friend at home in LAN for example. Thanks for any of your answers guys.

The base game has the base game's decks locked. But all deck files, including the expansion decks, will be included, they'll simply be inaccessible and unplayable.

The Gold edition has those expansions being available for play. In both the base and the gold edition, the decks have multiple locked cards that you'll have to work to unlock.

The Gold Complete is the same as the previous one, except all of the cards are initially unlocked and foiled. So no work is needed to play a vanilla deck (whether from the base game or an expansion) with any combination of that particular deck's available cards.

As far as modding goes, they're all identical. The one I would personally go for is the Gold edition, so you get to use the expansion decks with the $10 price tag of the fully unlocked and foiled version.

So in short, I'll miss some cards even if I mod the game, if I don't take the Gold Edition? And Gold Complete is only unlocks and foils? Thanks for your response by the way. I don't care about unlocks, because the mod plug-ins unlock everything right? Sorry if my reading skills suck. But I want to be 100% sure. If I read you correctly, if I use unlockers here, and mods, I'll be able to play with the cards of Deck Pack 1,2 & 3 even with the Base Edition if I use the third party Deck Builder? Again I don't care for unlocks and official decks. Just card about the amount of cards I will have available to build decks with the third party Deck Builder once the game is completely modded.

All of the cards will available in the deck builder with only the base game.
