Playing Salbei
1)Jatill
EEk i´ve played this one before a couple days ago and it was not a nice game to watch ^^. well lets see.
Starthand: Keiga, Sol Ring, Baneslayer Angel, Flooded Strand, Flooded Strand, Island, Tawnos Coffin
Well thats a keep - i can´t target his creatures anyway so i´m kinda happy to not see any dead cards beside Tawnos Coffin which is gonna be amazing at saving my winning options.
Turn 1 - fetch into plains, sol ring go
AI starts with tundra go - so far so good.
turn 2 Coffin island go (even drew a second Baneslayer Angel)
AI repeats turn1 , tundra go
I could play Baneslayer Angel turn 3 - but decide not to (just gonna get removed) - definatly not worth the risk.
AI plays Ancestral Recall at the End of my turn (definatly got removal now).Plays a TUndra, Mox jet , Cunning Wish for Ancestral Recall (damn cheater) into Ancestral Recall, Another mox and Oblivion RIngs my Sol RIng.
i play wall of denial + fetch for island (2 plains 2 islands, tawnos coffin, wall of denial on the board).
AI plays a Wall of Denial - oh dear god this is gonna take a while ...
Couple turns later he got a Library of Alexandria and activates it frequently - while i wait for another mana to play Wall of Reverence + 3 mana for the coffin.
AI -> Baneslayer Angel ... good for me. solid Control Magic target.
i play Keiga and expect it to be removed. - AI blew swords AND path to exile for it.
Control Magic from the top -> Baneslayer Angel. AI tries to kill it during my turn - i safe the creature with the coffin.AI plays Sphinx - no thread so far.
Meanwhile i got a Wall of Reverence going and start to prepare for inkwell.gonna need quite a bunch of life to survive that.Wall of Reverence and Baneslayer Angel netting 10 life per turn - so i almost can´t loose anymore.
Couple turns later i got enough mana to play Baneslayer Angel AND protect it with the coffin (2 in play , 1 blocked by wall of denial, 1 dealing 5). AI tinkered the same turn for Inkwell Leviathan - but i´m too far ahead with life (65), gaining 15 life pet turn.
Few failed attempts to kill an Angel (protected with Coffin) its over. fricking 160 life...
1-0
2)scherbchen
I start with a bad hand only Balance made possible to play.
turn 2 mulldrifter (topdeck) net me a nice early boost - revealing wall of Denial and a Path to Exile.
Should be almost won - just have to get a bit more mana to get Coffin/Baneslayer rolling.
AI not playing any lands - just Moxen for some reason untill turn 4 where he plays Emeria.(really hate that land - its doing literally nothing till round 15ish, comes into play tapped and won´t bring your creatures back anyway since 90% of the time they get removed from the game - whatever.
AI play Finks + Loam Lion (1/1) - don´t care about it ,Wall of Denial and drew into a Wall of Reverence - you shall not pass.AI paths the White wall and hits me for 1 ... uh noes.
playing Baneslayer Anger - got Pathd - so its time for the waiting game again. Kavu predator on the board could be troublesome. still got the coffin in case its growing over the wall ... still hoping to control magic it.
2 Coffins , 1 Control Magic and 1 Baneslayer Angel later it is over.
2-0
3)stroggoii
Starting with a first turn Wall of Reverence (lotus+land). Not bad.
AI plays Figure of Destiny - i´m smiling at the Control Magic in my hand
turn 3 mulldrifter just showed me wall of reverence + another mulldrifter... well 2 lands more and thats it.
couple turns nothing intresting happens . Control Magic on Figure almost made the game - the 3rd mulldrifter had to help a bit too.AI stalled a bit with the Firewalkers + some burn but i never was in any danger.
3-0
4)Nyktorion
YUmmy starthand !
tundra, flooded strand , Mox Sapphire, Ancestral Recall, Black Lotus, Sol Ring, Flooded Strand
definatly a keep
Ending my first turn with a Tundra,Mox Sapphire,Sol Ring, Mulldrifter AND 7 cards in my hand.
AI plays Rhox War Monk on his 2nd Turn - got swords for it since i was flooded with removal.
Played COffin on turn 2, beating with mulldrifter.
AI playing Rhox War Monk again . I draw a Baneslayer Angel and decide it is safe to play it (AI didn´t remove the Mulldrifter for a couple turns) but the AI Force of WIlled it.
AI played Kitchen Finks . i removed it with the coffin ... mulldrifter attacks each turn and slowly but surly getting him into the red zone while i´ve found a wall of denial and wall of reverence to guarantee i won´t loose this one.
AI emptied its hand dropping a goyf and a hierarch into play - perfect timing for the topdecked Baneslayer Angel (even with Coffin protection).Control Magic on Tarmogoyf stopped the AIs attempts to attack and the Angel did the job.
4-0
5)Enigma
Held a hand i would usually throw back, mainly cause of the mox in there.
AI starts with a Savannah Lion. not to terrifying. The pridemage on turn 2 however got pathd ... really can´t afford that armageddon without that mox.
Ancestral Recall from the top revealed Mulldrifter+ control magic.
AI wastelands my Tundra leaving me at 1 land - with a hand full of gas but fortunatly another land in there.
AI playing terravore while that annoying little lion is still scratching me ... got the swords for it but am to proud to use it against junk ^^
AI 19 life: 3 lands Knight of the Reliquary, Terravore, Savannah Lion (3 cards)
me 12 life: 3 lands, blue mox , wall of denial, wall of reverence 5 cards (2 control magic 1 mulldrifter 1 swords 1 time walk)...guess who won with a big terravore ... not enigma ^^
5-0
6)Brandon
he starts with turn 1 black vise and char to face - means i start turn 2 with 15 life . a bit concerned about my lands since i only got tundras and i know he plays bloodmoon. anyway turn 2 wall of denial - just to get out of black vise range.
AI plays mountain go
reliefed i drew a basic island and play a 2nd wall of denial - bloodmoon won´t do too much damage now.
AI mountain go
WAll of reverance from top and i´m more or less invicible unless he somehow manages to bring me to 10 life ... still got swords just in that case. so loosing is not an option anymore - lets play the waiting game until we can finish this.
AI played Blood Moon.
Slightly annoyed, but not concerned i draw mulldrifter from the top and play it with my sweet basic island
(back to 18 life by now) and next to invicible with the wall of reverance to his burn deck.Got in Black Vise range later cause i didn´t get any targets for my removal, but already got 40 life at that point.
shitload of burnspells to face absorbed by lifegain turns later Baneslayer Angel ends the game.
6-0
7)
turn 1 Wall of Reverance (lotus) is always a hand i keep .
AI starts with Dark Depths. not too worried about it since i already got a path in my hand.
AI and me both develop our manabase and nothing major happens.
turn 4 i play a 2nd wall of reverence and the AI plays Kalastria Highborn - already don´t care at this point.
AI plays hexmage at turn 7 . got 2 swords + a path to exile for Dark Depths ... nothing can hurt me.
turn 10 (?) ai attacks with 4 vampires after playing nocturnus (pumps em) . tawnos coffin on nocturnuns and the combat turns out very very unfavorable for the vampires ^^ dealing 2 damage to me while loosing 2 creatures.
i decide to untap coffin to control magic the nocturnus and end the game with it - some weird bug happens my control magic dissapears and the vampire is back under control of the AI... well i´ve swords to plowshared it after just to get rid of it ... damn bugs.
baneslayer with 3 wall of reverence in play = 20 life / turn nothing the AI could do about it. AI used Urge to feed on my Walls a couple times - and his vamps where at 5/5 at some point but it was not enough.
7-0

Shantak
Good Hand , Turn1 hardcast Mulldrifter Swords and obviously enough mana.
Drew into control Magic + Plains ... not that hot.
AIs turn 1 was Somping Grounds + Mox Ruby go
So suddenly i´m at turn 2 doing beatdown ... doesn´t happen too often with this deck ^^.
AI play spark elemental and beats for 3
Playing Tawnos coffin during my turn ... should shut down these little thinggies till i get my first wall online.
Turn 5 i got the Wall of Reverance (still beating down with that Mulldrifter lol). All the AI got was a Mox Ruby, Stomping Ground and Forbidden orchard - nothing scary so far.(ai 12 life / me 18 life -> wall)
AI playing Primal Forcemage - i´m like wtf?! and enjoy my new 1/1 spirit token from the orchard ^^ playing control Magic on that thing just for fun ... still got 2 swords in hand just in case.AI down to 6 ,i´m at 22. 3non wall creatures against 0 blockers.he survived the next turn with 1 life.so i just attacked with Forcemage i stole from him.
8-0

Bad hand , have to mulligan.
Keeping this :
Swords to Plowshares, Flooded Strand, Island, Path to Exile, Flooded Strand, Tawnos Coffin and hope for the best... not exactly my dreamhand.
AI starts with lotus -> Kitchen Finks -> fetch into Plateau , i sword the same turn.
drawing mox from the top - not too happy about it, but still opens a turn 3 coffin play to use it turn4 if nothing better shows up - bad bad hand.still got the path for any major threats if needed.
AI plays Loam Lion - go ... not too scary.
Topdeck Baneslayer Angel but miss a mana to play it so i go with the coffin plan.
AI attacks with Lion, bringing me down to 16 (damn fetchlands) and plays a threat - Tarmogoyf.
I drew wall of Reverence. couple options . play wall gain life block goyf get 2 from lion seemd to be the best option.
worst case - the wall gets removed and i get a land for it to play the Angel ... or a life still negating the Lions attack.
AI plays Kavu Predator , another threat. so i´ll have to use the coffin on my turn unless i draw control magic/swords/wall.
drew a sol ring and thus just removed the Kavu with coffin . still holding that path to exile till i really need it (ai is at 3 lands).I could play the Baneslayer Angel now, but its not the right time.Got cocky and played it anyway leading to gain 5 life (kavu grows and beats for 12 after justice) - lesson learned, don´t get cocky ^^.
Anyway i´m at 11 life now.Path to exiled his Kavu . and went into beatdown mode with Baneslayer (protected by coffin).
Attacked for 5, gained another 5 via Wall and was back to 21 ... expected to get hit, but not that hard ^^ could have backfired aswell when the Angel would got removed. was a risky play but paid off.
AI attacking with lion + goyf (4/5) . blocked goyf took 2 went down to 19 ... while the AI is at 18.
AI play Pridemage. not terrifying , but a potential thread to the angel (if coffin gets killed). the board is not completly stalled yet so its still anyones game, even though the AI is in a very tough position.
AI plays Kitchen Finks aswell. not scary aswell considering i get 10 life per turn and can still block his highest thread.i reserve the coffin to save the angel no matter what - as soon as he leaves the battlefield i´m gonna be in a world of trouble - done enough risky plays this game.Good news is that the AI is down to 1 card .bad news - so am i.
next turn is going to be cruicial if he manages to turn the tide or not.
AI plays Kavu Predator. eek - gonna have to coffin that unless i draw removal/control magic. wall won´t stop it.
AI sacs Pridemage to kill .... SOL RING. big relief.Blocking goyf again (5/6) gettin 5 damage by finks + lions.AI plays its last card - Figure of Destiny. with no mana left open.
Drew Mulldrifter from top and evoke it (harcasting it would prevent me from using the coffin to prevent the Kavu from eating me.Drew into Balance + Baneslayer Angel ... Good news - Game is over ^^ he can´t win now.
Coffin-> Kavu , attack with Angel . AI 10 - me 29,34 at the end of the turn.
AI topdecks Swords to Plowshares . usually i would have been scared now (still only got one Wall of Reverence in play).i block the goyf again and take 9 damage.-> back to 30 life.Untapped the coffin during my turn, exiled the Wall with it and played balance (discarding the Baneslayer Angel).Completly clearing the board, ai left at 3 lands 0 handcards while i still got my wall + Coffin . should be GG soon.
Forgot to untap Coffin , got wall of denial to seal the game. Just need a winning option now.AI doesn´t take long to recover. 2 turns - 2 goyfs . still got my 2 trusty walls + coffin along with a STPS on my hand.Dragonmaster Outcast next turn looked scary - ai is still missing 2 lands for it to matter though.AI tries to path to exile my Wall of Reverence - i just coffin it and take the damage from the goyf+outcast.Topdeck another Wall of Reverence - should be safe again.AI plays Kitchen Finks and goes up to 14 life again (i´m at 30).Finally drew a Control Magic from the top and picked the Outcast for a steady stream of flyers and more importantly 15 life per turn to guarantee i won´t get raced.
intense game.

Solid starthand with mox 2 land + 3 mulldrifter and a control magic - good feeling about it.
Turn 1 mox, tundra go
AI plains Figure of Destiny go
turn 2 evoke mulldrifter
ai pump + attack (going down to 18)
turn 3 control magic on Figure of Destiny
AI Spectral Procession
turn 4 Baneslayer Angel + trade Figure with 2 token.
AI Spectral Procession nr2 + Figure of Destiny - PHEW Angels gonna stick.
Turn 5 Timewalk from the top +evoke Mulldrifter. Hardcast Mulldrifter during my Timewalk + activate Strip Mine.
Hand is now 2x Path,1 Swords, 1 Wall of Denial after playing Land + Sol Ring... should be GG soon unless Worship shows up.
AI pumping figure to 4/4 but doesn´t attack.
Turn 6 Attacking with Angel + Mulldrifter (again trading 2 token for the mulldrifter - in anticipation of Worship).I Path to Exile one token to keep the Mulldrifter alive. Suddenly Wrath of God pops into my mind and i decide to keep the Wall of Denial on my hand.
AI plays Baneslayer Angel ... good again and attacks for 6 -> i path his angel.and go down to 25 - while he is at 5 life.
Turn 7 attack with Angel + Mulldrifter - no removal -> GG

Playing as aaw1979
1)stroggoii
decent start hand, 2 hymns, nulls, rack and 2 mind twist. just hope for no early aggro and i´ll be fine with it.
even drew into a Hypnotic Specter at turn 2 - looking good.
topdecked lotus turn 3 for hymn + hypnotic.AI decides not to block Slavering Nulls for some reason aswell so its already down to 3 cards without much in play.
Ai plays Dragon Fodder turn 3 - could be worse.
Ritual + Mind Twist + Hypnotic empty the AIs hand , gonna get full Rack damage for a while now
Lets just hope 5 damage per turn is going to be enough and the specter survives for 2 turns.
The stupid AI won´t attack cause i got Slavering Nulls ...stalling 2 goblins, 2 Figure of Destiny and a Kor Firewalker . 2/1 creatures are scary ^^
Ai is down to 3 life , at 0 cards and still haven´t managed to deal with the specter - taking full Rack damage for too long and its about to be over.
Would have lost if the ai just ignored that 2/1 and just attacked.
1-0
2)Cognis
pretty weak hand , 4 lands ,unplayable Cao Cao,Hypnotic Specter + Mind Twist . was badly manascrewed the last game and decide to keep this.
Turn 2 Strip Mine helps preventing early threats.Turn 3 Blightning gets a Piledriver and a Sharpshooter - not bad.
AI just responds with a Lightning Bolt + Fetchland during his turn.
Mind Twist for 3 at turn 4 leaves the AI with only 1 handcard . looking good.
Turn 5 Hypnotic Specter unfortunatly eats a Lightning Bolt. Didn´t really expect any removal left.
Turn6 Nyxathid while the AI is at 2 cards - still looking favorable.Hymn from the Top sets the AIs life to 8 after Nixathid attacked.Lightning Bolt on my hand, so its over after the AI didn´t play a blocker.
2-0
3) Nyktorion
moderate start with a turn 2 Hypnotic Specter + The Rack - unfortunatly AI Swords to Plowshares it the same turn.
Turn 3 Blightning catches a War Monk + another Swords to Plowshares , was alright.
AI played a Tarmogoyf that turn . oh oh.
Turn 4 . played my 4th land i just drew and the 2nd rack, leaving me with just a Cao Cao i can´t play yet.
AI plays Qasali Pridemage and Beats me for 5 (exalted) with the goyf.
Turn 5 drew + played Hypnotic Specter ... not looking good - AI at 5 cards at his turn - nowhere near Rack range and the goyf just bashes too hard.
Turn 6 played Blightning , AI Force of Will it Removing a War Monk - Questionable again, but as it looks hes on the winning side... anyway i attack with the Hypnotic, beating for 2 (AI down to 13) and 1 handcard.AI responds with saccing the Pridemage at the End of my turn to Destroy one Rack - my fate is sealed.
AI taking 2 from the rack (down to 11 now), Plays another Pridemage + Noble Hierarch - goyf attacjking for 8/9 with 2 exalted triggers ... i go down to 3 and the opponent sacrifices the other Pridemage for my Rack. Leaving me with just the Hypnotic Specter to somehow deal 11 damage in one turn.
Turn 7 played Blood Crypt i just draw from the top (down to 1 Life) - attacked with the Hypnotic and played Cao Cao to chumpblock.
AI now attacking with a 7/8 goyf (exalted trigger from hierarch) - i block as planned and the AI passes the turn at 9 life.
I Attack once again with the Hypnotic (AI down to 7), i play Nixathid i topdecked.
AI attacks as expected and i chumpblock with the Nixathid (blocking with specter and attacking with Nixathid wouldn´t work - hierarch would block it) AI plays Kitchen Finks and is back to 9 life.
I attack with the Specter and play Blightning from the top - AI is at 4 life and beats me to death next turn.
Holding back both Specter and Nixathid could have bought me another turn - removal would mean i loose - but this way i still had one out to draw Blightning/Lightning Bolt to win instead of hoping he won´t get removal. The game was lost as soon as Tarmogoyf hit the table , would have been enough damage with both racks aswell . Well already got lucky to go this far cause i should have lost the first game and only won cause the ai didn´t attack with several 2/2 cause i got a single 2/1.
2-1 loss

its actually kinda funny - i´m not even playing against my deck in my own gauntlet ... is it because of the missing "_" between Vintage and Salbei ? Doesn´t make much sense i guess.
1)stroggoii
decent start hand, 2 hymns, nulls, rack and 2 mind twist. just hope for no early aggro and i´ll be fine with it.
even drew into a Hypnotic Specter at turn 2 - looking good.
topdecked lotus turn 3 for hymn + hypnotic.AI decides not to block Slavering Nulls for some reason aswell so its already down to 3 cards without much in play.
Ai plays Dragon Fodder turn 3 - could be worse.
Ritual + Mind Twist + Hypnotic empty the AIs hand , gonna get full Rack damage for a while now

1-0

My scores are in, and the overwhelming victor is Yggdrasil. Not only was his deck the only 1 to go 10-0 (not losing a game in the process, either), it racked up 3 AI wins. Hexmage combo + Demigod of Revenge are some solid finishers.

enigma73 vs:
enigma (2-1) Lost a game to an enormous opposing Terravore.
kakodrilo (2-1) First game was lost due to a quick Firewalker. Second game was almost lost to monkey beatdown (2 Gorilla Shaman + Kird Ape), but I pulled through with Balance on the final possible turn.
Yggdrasil (0-2) Got stuck on 1 land with Werebear in hand both games. Didn't want to mull to 5.
jatill vs:
aww1979 (0-2) First game kept 1 land + double Path. Definately don't want to mulligan against the discard deck. Turn 1 Lotus+Ritual+Mind Twist. 2nd turn double rack. Ouch. Game 2 was similar. I was able to Chastise a 6/6 Nyxathid, but could never get The Rack under control.
aww1979 vs:
kakodrilo (2-0) AI was afraid to attack into Hypnotic Specter, which was held for defense. Easy games.
cognis (0-2) Both games Goblin King made the cognis army unblockable, and I died.
stoggi vs:
brandon (2-0) Game 1 I mulligan a 6-lander (the deck is supposed to be Swift, right?) into a 1-lander. When I finally got the 2nd land on the 7th!! turn, Kor Firewalker was still enough to seal the deal. Game 2 turn 1 Figure + Pump + Dragon Fodder. Smoke slowed things down but a Firewalker closed it.
stoggi (2-0) It was a fair fight so of course the AI lost
scherben (2-0) A straightforward slapfest with some serious ground stalls.
shantak (2-0) I never took a damage form the AI
theridgo (2-0) Use Figure to trick AI into bad blocks. Otherwise nothing interesting.
theridgo (2-0) Same
scherben (1-2) Mistake #1: Don't try to lightning Helix a Kavi Predator. This works in real life, but not Manalink. Mistake 2: Kor Firewalker's ability was not written as optional. The Predator grew to 22/22. The 3rd game I was just overrun by superior creatures and card advantage that not even my uber Figure could hold off.
Salbei vs:
kakodrilo (2-0) Wall of Reverence + BSA >> Burn
theridgo (2-0) Despite some serious blunders by me, the AI still dies to BSA. Game 2 Keiga triggers off Swords. Seems busted.
enigma73 (2-1) Turn 2 BSA goes unanswered. Game 2 I miss 1 land drop and die to double Vise. Game 3 Wrath saves enigma from BSA, but then he dies to his own Terravore.
enigma73 (2-1) Epic match. Game 1 BSA vs 3/3 Terravore looked great until Armageddon... Game 2 was a drawn out affair with double 'geddon. I draw lotus and havea tough decision to make. Play BSA or save the Lotus for Control Magic. Opponent does have 1 White available, but I decide to go for the kill. Angel lives the turn, but I start to regret my decision when the AI plays Lotus->Goyf->Goyf the next turn (6/7's). Luckily the removal never came and BSA cleaned up. Game 3 was another epic affair in which I had to cast Balance just for the privilidge of discarding 2 cards (AI had double Vise). I pulled it out in a very close one.
stoggi (2-0) Game 1 I kept Wall of Revence + mana sources. Easy win. Nice knowing what you're up against. The second game was the expected blowout. Game double mox into a swarm of guys beat face before I would stabilize.
stoggi (1-2) 3 Blood Knights made my brain explode game 1. Game 2 I stole a super Figure and protected it with Coffin.
nykotorian vs:
juzamjedi (0-2) Game 1 I saw on the back foot after a turn 1 Spectral Procession, and never managed to get back in it. The 2nd game I managed to Force the first Procession, and the game went long. Despite 3 Finks, I was unable to fend off the card advantage of Rangers and Processions.
scherbchen:
vs:
salbei (2-0) I'm actually surprised to have survived this match. Good thing the AI stole my dragons, and not the dragonmaster with Control Magic!
nyktorion (2-0) Game 1 lifegain looked silly vs Predator. Game 2 had Dragons chumping a stolen Figure of Destiny every turn until Emeria became active.
aww1979 (2-1) Mulligan + discard = on to game 2. AI decided it was sorry and said so by not playing any spells game 2. Game 3, doulbe Rack meets double Finks.
salbei(2-1) Game 1: Outcast ftw. Game 2 Outcast is handled by Coffin, so I lose. In the final, I have a quick draw that is just fast enough to earn the 'W'.
yddrasil (2-0) I had the removal for Matir Lage, so vamps got pwned.
juzamjedi (2-0) Weenies are no match for Fiery Justice, though Elspeth was pretty tough to fight through
Enigma (2-0) AI Cast Geddon at an inappropriate time and died.
nyktorion (2-0) Game 1 the AI had early Targo-advantage. Late game his Sowers went unanswered. Game 2 I sandbagged all my removal for Sowers and won with Figure. Game 3 I kept Triple Swords, doulbe Predator, 1 land. After 7 turns, I still had 1 land, and was forced to Path my Scute Mob. As soon as the Predators finally came online, they got huge thanks to War Monk, and I won.
cognis (2-0) Damnation wiped out my 1st wave, and Starstorm the 2nd, but Targo got there. Damnation again, but nothing to stop the followup.
jatill (0-2) Targo got Threadsed, and the 2nd Baneslayer helped by Sphinx killed me just before Figure could go ultimate to block. Game 2 I had an active Emeria, but coldn't return anything since all my creatures were exiled, stolen, or in Oblivion.
Yggdrasil vs:
kakodrilo (2-0) Game 1 Marit Lage combo. See-ya. Game 2: Double Demigod.
brandon (2-0) Exactly the same as last match. Will this be a pattern?
brandon (2-0) Nope, no pattern. Thsi time I got Demigod game 1 and Marit Lage game 2 instead!
kakodrilo (2-0) I get it, Vampires own red decks.
shantak (2-0) Almost lost game 1, but Highborn's life gain kept me in it at 1. Game 2 the AI was afraid to play spells.
enigma (2-0) Game 1 win with a 20/20 when enigma tapped out of white. Game 2 triple Terravor never grew bigger than 1/1.
nykotorian (2-0) Demigod flew over again. Good card choice.
brandon (2-0) yeah...
salbei (2-0) Little guys ate the premium removal, and then Demigod cleaned up while removal took care of blockers. Game 2 Salbei tapped out to control magic Hemage. I decided I'd rather have a 20/20.
stoggi (2-0) Nocturnous finally took to teh skies both games to complete the perfect set.
kakodrilo vs:
shantak(2-1) Game 1 the AI didn't do anything interesting. Game 2 I couldn't play creatures due to Oath and lost to haste. Game 3 I played all basic lands and finished with a flurry of burn including Price of Progress.
enigma (2-1) Slith Firewalker charged into the red zone 5 times game 1. Game 2 Terravore vs Countryside Crusher is not a fair fight. Game 3 Mox Monkey did his thing
shantak(2-0) No Oath = no hope
salbei (1-2) I'm going to go on record and call this matchup completely unwinnable. You'll notice I did win a game. I had 2 Slith Firewalker turn 1 on the play AND had Mox Monkey eat 3 Moxes, and I still only just barely won.
cognis vs:
cognis (2-0) Game 1 I have double Piledriver vs Warchief and Sharpshooter when I draw burning wish... but what to get? The Answer: Void. Was there something better I could have gotten? Either way it worked. Game 2 Chandra dominated. (BW for Chain Lightning)
shantak(2-0) I head Sharpshooter is pretty good in thsi matchup
juzamjedi (2-1) Turn 1 Warchief + Piledriver. Game 2 I draw mostly lands and die to BSA. Game 3... Demonic Tutor -> Burning Wish -> Flashfires. I felt a little dirty.
aww1979 (2-0) Game 1 is a Lotus-fueled goblin assault. Game 2 was pretty great. Blightning and The Rack put me down to 1, and I survive long enough to cast Disk to get me free. I follow up with Blood Moon, leavaing AI with just 1 black source, unable to cast Hymn to kill me with another Rack. If Urborg were Swamp, I would have lost.
sherbchen: (2-0) Game 1 again proved the power of Goblin King vs Mountains. Game 2 Blood Moon shut down the opponent while Wish for Bidding brought back my troops.
enigma Game 1 is epic. I am land-screwed facing down an early vise, so I burn a wish to find Night's Whisper (less than optimal for sure). I dig and find no lands. Losing lose rapidly, I chump block Tarmogoyf for 3 turns in a row to stay alive, and finally get the mana to disk. Eventually I get a bidding and return all those dead goblins to play, but it's still only 16 points of damage when my opponent is at 20, so I can't attack or die on the counterattack. Come on 1 more Goblin... and then AI Wraths. I get the first attackers with my last 2 Goblin Kings, and the AI finds another Wrath. My nest Sharpshooter mows down a Lion, but other sits there looking dumb. AI plays a 2/2 Terravore which is too/too big. I am forced to use my last removal to Damn it. Ultimately Chandra shows up and flips out and kills everything, including my opponent. Game 2 I get 3 Piledrivers (with the help of 3 Bolts) to noogie my opponent to death.
cognis (0-2) Game 1 the AI sticks the Goblin King and attacks for lethal all in 1 turn. Game 2 I had 3 Kings but could not cast them sicne the AI had all the Goblins. I dies without ever having drawn a land... 3 in play and Damnation in hand.
juzamkedi vs:
kakodrilo (2-0) Spectral Procession provides blockers until BSA goes lethal. Game 2 AI can't beat Worship.
yggdrasil (2-0) The AI gains an early 20 off a Swords, and I'm on teh back foot most of the game, with Worship keeping me alive. Kalastria Vampire threatens to kill me, so I dig with the Elspeth + Skullclamp combo. Indestructible + Wrath finisheds the game much later. Game 2 Elspeth pump akes for a quick game.
juzamjedi (2-0) A classic battle of brains vs bots. Brains triumphs.
nykotorion (2-1) Game 1 I mulliganed and the AI had an answer for every single card I played. Games 2+3 the Ai waited too long to play a 2nd land.
enigma (2-0) I drew more removal than the AI drew creatures. Game 2 AI Wraths and I have reserve creatures.
aww1979 (2-0) Turn 1 Figure goes all the way. Game 2 multiple Processions do the same.
shantak(2-0) Wrath looked silly but Worship sure did not.
juzamjedi (2-0) Brains wins again. Ai would have won with Elspeth if it didn't play the 2nd copy.
thedrigo (2-1) Elspeth takes the fight to the skies game 1+3. Game 2 Pridemage kills the Worship that would have kept me alive.
scherbchen (1-2) Predator is 31/31 when I die. Game 2 I Wrath + Reload. Game 3 Pridemage kills my Worship and I am toast.
shantak vs:
aww1979 (2-0) The first was a very close race, and in the 2nd I had turn 2 Oath + Orchard to take it down.
juzamjedi (2-1) Living Wish for land, Burning Wish for Elemental Appeal. Game 2 the AI lands BSA when I have 3 lands vs his 20 life. I have Burning Wish, but what to get? I look through every possibility and see no answers. So I try Mana Clash... it deals 6, but not the full 13! Game 3 a turn 1 Oath does the trick,
salbei (2-1) Game 1 I was Baneslain. Game 2 was tricky, since the Ai started with a turn 1 Wall of Reverence. That traded with a Ball and the more challenging Wall of Denial landed. I cast Tsunami to buy some time, and eventually got Oath. I only activated it when I had another attacker in hand, and eventually got through for 20. Game 3 I liked my opener with double Forcemage, but they got killed and controlled. The AI refused to use its coffin so I pushed through a Wall of Denial with Bloodlust. Mulldrifter and Forcemage chunked at me for 4 every turn. I eventually got Oath, and got to the point where I would win if I Oathed AND drew a business spell AND the AI could not remove my creature. Otherwise I was dead. I got there.
jatill (2-0) Turn 1 Forcemage (plus Spark elemental) put the hurt on, and the Ai didn't draw White mana in time to live. Game 2 Oath combo worked.
thedrigo (2-0) Knight of Meadowgrain stopped the turn 3 kill, but double Beserk eventually got there. Game 2 Wish for Blood Knight and attack for 26 in 1 turn.
nytorion (2-1) Double Forcemage makes my Spark Elementals pretty fierce, but only for a turn until they are killed and stolen. From there Ancestral + Time Walk join forces with creature spells to end me. Game 2 I keep 1 land + Oath and get there on time. game 3 I have turn 2 Oath combo and the Pridemage does not decide to break it up.
shantak (2-0) I stay alive at 1 by soaking up trample damage with Giant Growth, and win the next turn. Game 2 I die on turn 2. Nice. I return the favor game 3 by landing turn 1 Oath combo.
yddrasil (2-0) Turn 3 double-Berserk kill followed by turn 1 Oath combo.
kakodrilo (2-0) Turn 2 Oath both games.
shantak (1-2) Beserk is the decider in every game. I used Living Wish for Wall of Wood one game!! and Burning Wish for Call of the Herd. Thus shantak earns the rare perfect 14 points.
brandon vs:
yggdrasil(0-2) I'm just not sure how I'm suppose to ever win with this deck, since it just gets run over by creatures
theridgo:
cognis (2-0) When game 1 ended I had 32 cards left in deck and only got 3 land total, all of which were Mountains thanks to Blood Moon. Luckily, 3 lands is enough for FoD. Game 2 I got creature AND lands, so it was pretty sweet.
yggdrasil(1-2) I thought I stabilized game 1 with Paladin En-Vec pinging away, but the special ability of Demigod returned a friend, and I took 10 out of nowhere. Game 2 I keep a 2-lander with Paladin and Worship. I never draw a land and die on turn 5 to double Nocturnus.

brandon (2-0) Exactly the same as last match.

Thedrigo, WWeenie went 10-0
Match 1 vs Mirror match 2-0.
Match 2 vs Shantak Tramp 2-0.
Match 3 vs Cognis BR Aggro 2-0.
Game 1: I thought I had the win for sure with Worship in play when AI plays Damnation and Nevinyrral’s Disk and brings as back to the beginning. AI plays Patriarch’s Bidding and brings one goblin back while I return 3 kithin and bring him down. He could’ve recoverd with Goblin Sharpshooter but didn’t respond when Figure of Destiny was only 1/1.
Game 2: A quick win.
Match 4 vs Cognis BR Aggro 2-0.
Game 1: I accidently don’t play Figure of Destiny but then AI plays Damnation so it turns out well. AI plays Patriarch’s Bidding to return Mogg Fanatic to play since other 3 goblins were exiled.
Game 2: I play Swords to Plowshares on 2 Goblin Sharpshooter when the 3rd one enters the field. 3 Goblin Sharpshooter can pretty much clear any board so I was lucky for removal. After that it was just cruising to victory.
Match 5 vs Juzam Jedi Monowhite 2-0.
Game 1: Mulligan a 0 land hand to a one land hand to a two land hand with Wall of Blossoms, Worship and Honor of the Pure. With 2 Wall of Blossom I draw into 4 lands and play Worship at 11 and facing 6 creatures. Worship keeps me alive while Ajani Goldmane pumps a trio of Paladin en-Vec for the kill until AI plays Wrath of God taking also Stirring Wildwood with it. Knight of Meadowgrain and Figure of Destiny finish it.
Game 2: 2 Spectral Procession bring me to 3 but Soltari Priest gets the kill at the final moment.
Match 6 vs Aww1979 BR Discard 2-0.
Game 1: All out aggro assault pumped by Ajani Goldmane.
Game 2: Oblivion Ring saved me from The Rack but another one follows. I’m at 5 life when I topdeck another Oblivion Ring for The Rack and win the game a few turns later.
Match 7 vs Brandon Redforce 2-0.
Match 8 vs Stroggoii Swift 2-0.
Game 1: Worship saved my ass and the Ajani Goldmane powered army with protection from red finished it in 2 turns.
Game 2: Ajani Goldmane fuelled an army to victory even though AI had me a 6 life at one point.
Match 9 vs Stroggoii Swift 2-0.
Match 10 vs Cognis BR Aggro 2-0.
Game 1: AI had 2 Goblin Warchief and 2 Goblin Piledriver but didn’t go on the offensive so I had plenty of time to setup my counter.
Game 2: The AI didn’t know how to play the cards he was given including Blood Moon, Demonic Tutor, etc. A nice and straightforward deck that is easy to play. Similar to Juzam Jedi Monowhite although this one is better against burn decks because of creatures with protection from red. I didn’t know how much Ajani Goldmane ruled until I played this deck. It’s an awesome card. Had fun playing it, no surprise it went all the way.
Only 2 more decks to play. Yggdrasil and mine until I get final results.
Match 1 vs Mirror match 2-0.

Thanks for the feedback and nice to see I actually 10-0'd once.Brandon822 wrote:Playing with JuzamJedi_Monowhite. Best of three.

About the deck: Most wins was due to early Spectral Possession and then Baneslayer Angel. I Didn't need Ranger of Eos at all. Figure of Destiny finished couple of times in his ultimate mode.
About meta: Didn't see Jatill or Salbei which I have lost two times both. Yggdrasil vampires were easy with this deck that has also beat me two times. I think I saw first time Shantak's deck.

The reason for Ranger of Eos was to give a little extra power for the attrition wars I expected. When the human plays you can Skullclamp tokens and turn Elspeth in a card advantage machine, but AI doesn't use Skullclamp. If AI would actually use Skullclamp it would have been a 4-of because of how bonkers it is in this deck.
With the little bit I've seen of Jatill's deck I'm glad you didn't face it and ruin that record

It seems you play my deck better than I do. I'd never thought about bringing Figure of Destiny back down to 2/2 in response to Control MagicCognis wrote:Juzam Jedi; Monowhite went

Match 8 vs Salbei Stall 2-0.
Game 1: I go aggro but AI plays Balance and I lose 4 creatures, 2 lands and a card from my hand leaving me with Baneslayer Angel and a 4/4 Figure of destiny against AI’s 2 Wall of Denial but that’s just a momentary setback since I topdeck 2 lands for Figure of Destiny to max out. Keiga, the Tide Star triggered when Wall of Denial was put into AI’s graveyard so I used debug mode to remedy that, seems that Keiga, the Tide Star always triggers, no matter what. AI plays control magic on my 8/8 Figure of Destiny which in response I turn into a 2/2 and fly over with Baneslayer Angel for the win.

@salbei: Recorded your scores. That's about how I expected the stall deck to play out. It's pretty good, the only weaknesses being that it is slow in the first few turns (high mana curve, i.e. the cards cost a lot of mana to play) and has no countermagic to handle noncreature threats (which AI sucks with anyway). I'm really surprised the AI wouldn't attack with Kor Firewalker when your only blocker was red Nulls, though; any situation I've ever seen like that it attacks with anything that is unblockable, even if it leads to a game loss for lack of defenders.
@jatill: Recorded your scores, and confirmed that my final tally for your games matches yours.
@"the pile": The deck was not supposed to be very good; the main goal was hopefully to catch a few people with evil starting hands like turn 2 hymn/turn 3 blightning to wreck them. It seems to have done that a few times to people (it did to me when I played with salbei's deck) but in general it got stomped, since most of the time it doesn't get that, and has no permanent removal except bolts. Cao Cao is definitely a silly card, but after swapping out a bunch of cards the AI would just keep in hand (like Duress) I had a 59 card deck and was thinking 'what card can I find that the AI won't screw up with?' So I picked Cao Cao :p

The fact that AI won't use Skullclamp was actually a reason I put it in the deck. I got a little frustrated that I couldn't beat my own deck in the last tournament. I even joked with Aww that I should have renamed the deck "Clampy Clampy" to make it more obvious to the human playersSalbei wrote:Since i got a few days off i got time to play a best of 1 series with every deck.
Playing as juzamjedi:
...Juzamjedi (mirror)
Pretty bad start hand (2 lands, swords, figure, worship, elspeth, path)was just enough to survive his very aggressive start.
A well timed Wrath of God from my side mixed with Skullclamp swung the game back into my favor after being manascrewed for a couple turns.Following turn i´ve played Spectral Procession and turned them into 6 cards - drew another Procession and 2 Baneslayer Angel + Elspeth to trade again with his Elspeth. Was just academic after that.
8-0

Also I generally agree about your Figure of Destiny play in Match 4. T1 Skullclamp followed by T2 Figure + equip to draw cards is the way I play it too.

sorry for the wall of text but i tried to keep this as transparent as possible.
nyktorian
1)JuzamJedi
1 land hand , mulligan to 6. 1 land hand, mulligan to 5. keeping this hand:
Mox Emerald, Noble Hierarch, Mana Drain, Mana Drain, Brainstorm - alright for a 5 card hand.
Turn1
i start with Mox -> Hierarch go.
AI starts with Plains -> Figure of Destiny
turn2
i draw Island and say go (2 U available to Drain a Threat or Brainstorm at the end of his turn) , option B would be to attack (1/2 due to exalted. but i would get 2 damage in return and won´t be able to counter).
AI Path to Exiles - i´m thinking about draining it since my manabase is already fragile and since this is a 3 colored deck i´ve drained. AI pumps the Figure and attacks for 2.
Turn3
Topdeck Ancestral Recall and play Tarmogoyf with the Mox and floating Manadrain mana. Also got a fetchland, a Mox Sapphire and play both.Still keeping that Brainstorm and fetch for Tundra. Attacked with the Hierarch and passed the turn with 2 available mana , Drain+Brainstorm on my hand.
AI trys to Path to Exile my Goyf - i Drain without hesitating. - AI ends the turn.
Brainstorm reveals 2 Force of Will and a Plains. i keep one Force and put the other ontop. Attack with the goyf (3/4 cause of exalted).Pass the turn with 5 available mana and Force of Will in my hand.
AI pumps its Figure to 4/4 and attacks- i´m now at 13 Life while he is at 16 at the end of his turn.
Turn 4 drew the 2nd Force of Will and attacked for 3 again- nothing left to do so i pass with 6 Mana available.
AI tries to play Baneslayer Angel - Hardcast Force of Will denies it (goyf goes up to 3/4).AI attacks for 4 again.Down to 9 while the AI is at 13.
Turn 5 drew a Plains - not that usefull. i attack with exalted Goyf for 4.preparing to chump block his figure next turn.
we are both at 9.
AI attacks, i block as planned.AI pumps figure to 8/8 - but still got blocked.AI got no mana left to play and ends the turn.
Turn 6 i draw + play Rhox War Monk and attack with the Goyf for 3.
AI play Spectral Procession and Swords to Plowshares on my goyf. attacks and i´m down to 4 life / AI is at 6.Couldn´t Force any of his spells cause i needed the mana for the Monk.
Turn 7 i draw Elspeth.
AI got a 8/8 flying Figure , 3 Spectral Procession tokens - i only got the War Monk. Making a 1/1 with elspeth wouldn´t help, so i pumped the Monk and attacked.dealt 6 damage to a Token - set me back to 10 life (lifelink) , AI still got 10 damage on the table i can´t prevent.i run out of options and pass the turn.
AI is stupid again and attacks Elspeth with everything (10 damage, while i got 10 life, could have killed me).
Turn 8 i draw a Pridemage and attack with the warmonk for 4(exalted).AI is suddenly at 2 life while i am at 14.
AI attacks with everything as expected for 10. leaving me at 4 life, does nothing and i win the game next turn by attacking.
-> a lost game won due to the stupid AI prefering to kill a planeswalker instead of killing a player.
1-0
2)Kakodrillo
Once again a 1Land hand - this time with a brainstorm which lets me keep this.
AI starts - Taiga-> Gorilla Shaman. I got the chance to Force of Will it, but i don´t want to.
Hand is Fetchland,Brainstorm, Swords,Swords,Kitchen Finks, Force of Will, Mana Drain,Tarmogoyf. I decide to Fetch for Tundra (and thus don´t have green mana available for goyf - but can play both swords if needed. hopefully the brainstorm will reveal anything useful.i pass the turn.
turn 2 AI attacks with gorilla for 1 - i ignore it and take the damage.AI played a Mogg Fanatic.Once again the chance to Force - but its not a threat so i let it hit play.2nd spell is Kird Ape - AI got 2 Taigas out and i desperatly need a forest next turn to play the goyf.i decide to force it (goyf gonna be 3/4-> out of burn range) + i can play brainstorm now to hopefully gain access to a green mana for my turn 2.I Brainstorm end of the turn and draw Elspeth,Flooded Strand and Black Lotus.i think playing Elspeth next turn is the best play so i put 1 swords back ontop and goyf as the next card i will draw .(had to choose to loose either finks or the 2nd sword).
-> my turn2 draw goyf, play but not crack the fetchland (might need that 2nd sword and can still fetch if not)played lotus and used it to play Elspeth -> created a 1/1 and passed the turn.
Turn 3 AI does nothing but fetch a land - so i decide i don´t need the 2nd swords and fetch for Tropical to play that goyf next turn.Drew a 2nd goyf on my turn, played the first one , pumped the token with elpeth AI sacced the Mogg to kill the token before i could attack and wasted incinerate + pitched Fireblast to get rid of my goyf- AI is down to 1 land and 1 handcard now and will face my goyf next turn. very favorable.
Turn4 AI attacks Elspeth - no big deal, plays a mountain and says go with 1 handcard.
i draw fetchland and pick a tropical island to play Kitchen Finks, keeping the Goyf and Swords to Plowshares.Elspeth makes a dude again and i pass the turn.
Turn5 AI plays mountain -> go
I pump the 1/1 and attack with both for 7 (ai down to 12), play the goyf and keep the fresh drawn hierarch on my hand.no need for it atm.My board is 1/1 token , finks , 4/5 goyf + elspeth -> should be GG.
Turn6 AI play Countryside Crusher.
I sword it,pump the token and attack with everything.AI blocks goyf so i deal 7 again (ai down to
.Tropical island i just draw doesn´t help so i pass the turn.
Turn7 AI plays Magus of the Moon (i bite myself in the ass for not playing the hierarch)- the game is won anyway so it doesn´t matter.
I pop Elspeth for Indistructible time and attack with everything. ai blocks so my lands are normal again. ai down to 2 life with no hope to get out of this.Ponder i draw leads me to Rhox War Monk .Playing it and expect to win during the next turn.
Turn8 AI does nothing -
i win
2-0
3)Brandon
Mulligan to 6 - single Mox just won´t cut it ^^.This time i get fetchland + Hierarch + force of will backup. i keep it.
turn1
can´t fetch for a basic forest so i had to pick Tropical (i know Bloodmoon is coming) - but won´t be that troubesome with a hierarch in play.
AI starts with turn 1 Dragonmaster Outcast.I got Sower of Temptation in my hand so i won´t Force of Will it - prolly would it enter the game aswell without it.
Turn2
I play Qasali Pridemage
AI wants to Lightning Bolt it. i think for a moment and Force of Will it.i would be able to attack for 4 next turn(2x exalted), a reasonable clock, also his burn spells are limited so he can´t afford to waste another one for it.
Turn3
I attack with the Pridemage for 4 (2x exalted).drew a swords , still stuck to one land + hierarch with sower + monk on my hand.(ai down to 16,i´m at 18)
AI plays Char at the Pridemage - i decide to sac it to kill his mox.AI attacks with his 1/1.
Turn4
I draw Tundra and play Rhox War Monk.
AI plays his 4th land and says go. still far away from 6 and i will most likly hit a 4th mana (for the Sower) to gain control of it just in time.
Turn 5
Drew Fact or Fiction , still 1 Mana short - attack with Monk for 4 (exalted).back to 21 life - while the ai is down to 12. this should be almost over.AI plays Lava Axe to face and attacks with his 1/1 . so i´m down to 15 ... and not impressed.Ai got 5 lands by now - need to get another land if i don´t want to waste swords .Monk hits him for 4 again (goes down to 8, i´m at 19).Jace i drew is just like Fact or Sower - 1 Mana short. Manabase is definatly too tight.a single wasteland going to ruin your day.
Turn 6
Drew Force of Will - attack (ai 4 ,me 22)
don´t have to bother about that outcast as it seems. he attacks me during his turn with it - just to loose next turn.
Turn 7
Game won with just 2 lands in play and a hierarch - the manabase is definatly way too tight and gonna cost you sooner or later.
3-0
4)thedrigo
no mulligan this time - 3 lands + mox along with ponder, force + pridemage - all you could want.
turn1 AI starts with plains + mox diamond -> Figure of Destiny -> 2/2
i start with mox emerald, fetchland into tundra -> Pridemage.
turn2 AI wants to Swords to Plowshares the Pridemage . i do the math and decide its worth it to protect it ... can stall till i got threads, and destroy his mox diamon when he wants to throw something else at him.Force of Will Pitched Ponder, keeping ManaDrain as the other option.
My turn, drew another Fetchland and attack with my pridemage (need to do it to be worth the Force).
Turn3 AI tries to swords the pridemage again ... this time its not really worth the counter...i protect it anyway and hope i won´t regret this.
Drew Force of Will - no blue cards left to pitch , 4 lands in play. attack for 3 again and go.(can´t do anything with the drain mana).AI down to 14 , i´m at 15 (fetchlands + figure).
Turn 4 AI plays Honor the Pure. Can´t do anything about it.so AI attacks for 3 . not worth saccing the pridemage yet.
Drew Pridemage nr2 and attacked for 4 (2x exalted).AI down to 10, me at 11.
Turn5 AI attacks for 3 ,i take it.AI fetches and plays Paladin en-Vec. don´t like where we are going here ....
i draw Force of Will nr2 . 5 mana on the table.Deciding to attack with pridemage for 4 , block one creature with the other and destroy his enchantment. -> ai down to 5 , me at 8.
Turn 6 AI attacks with both , i block his figure - he pumps it , i sac the pridemage to destroy Honor the Pure to prevent 6 damage total only taking 2 from the Paladin.i´m still dead when he attacks next turn unless i draw buisness.
I draw Swords To Plowshares and attack for 3 (ai down to 2 , i´m at 6).
Turn7 AI attacks with both (lethal) so i have to sword one of them to stay alive. one thing i have to keep in the back of my head is that i deal 3 damage next turn unless he plays another creature (in this case i´m screwed anyway) he is currently at 2 life - means even a hierarch(exalted) from top could win me the game if i sword the paladin - while swords on the figure will buy me an additional turn ... so what shall i do ? kill pala for 1 turn and possibly win next turn or play it safe and take the figure to possibly survive 2 turns ?
Whatever i draw next better be a creature or swords -> i pick the figure and take the 2 (me 4 life , ai 6 life).
AI playing Oblivion Ring - i have to force.
->my turn 7 . i draw Tarmogoyf from the top - PHEW. Attack with pridemage for 3 -> ai down to 3.Only Path to exile could possibly screw me now.
Turn 8 AI plays land go.and thus lost.
damn close game.
4-0
5)scherbchen
no land hand ->mulligan to 6 -> into 2 land + hierarch drain elspeth war monk . should be good.
turn 1
i start with forest-> hierarch go
AI opens with land -> Figure of Destiny
Turn2
i play Rhox War Monk
AI swords it ,attacks+pumps his figure.
Turn3
Got another land from the top enabling me to play Elspeth -> token.
AI attacks elspeth with figure (2/2) and Path to Exiles my Token ... i say thank you and search an island.
Turn4
i do a misplay and tap the hierarch to play a Pridemage,+ add a token. 3 blue mana open with a Drain + swords in my hand. AI is still just at 2 lands while i am at 4 - so its looking good.
AI wants to play Knight of the White Orchard ... i hesitate a bit to counter it, but it is the right play since he is manascrewed.-> drained it.ai says go
Turn5
I play another Pridemage (tapped the right mana this time , only that it doesn´t matter now.)
I pump my pridemage with elspeth and strike for a whopping 8. (ai down to 12/ i´m at 20)
AI plays Kavu Predator and ends his turn.
Turn 6 i draw another Hierarch , pump my pridemage and strike for 9 this time.(ai down to 3)
AI plays another Kavu Predator.
Turn 7
Pumped Pridemage , strike for 9 and thus win the game. AI was manascrewed badly - still at 2 lands after 7 turns.
6)Ygdrasil
Tough mulligan decision. 4 lands, hierarch, force, finks ... can´t use the force .would be wide open for early Dark Depths and very vulnurable against hexmage even without the land.Got a turn 1 and turn 2 drop but nothing to follow it up.from the matches before i saw that the manabase was just the ammount you need -1 , so mulligan to 6 could very possibly eleminate me completly from the game from not drawin any land. so i keep it.
Turn1
I start with fetchland into Hierarch, already got 4 lands in my opening hand and definatly don´t want to see any other soon.
AI starts strong with lotus land Bloodghast + Nights Whisper.
Turn2
Fetchland again -> no lands anymore pls.played Kitchen Finks turn 2 after drawing Brainstorm. i´d like to keep the brainstorm untill for a bit now (can get rid of unneeded land and eventually find a solution for Dark Depths - + i can pitch it to Force of Will if desperatly needed.
AI not wasting any time and attacks with the Bloodghast for 2- i take it.Ai plays Mox with his land and wants to Drain Life my Hierarch ... guess i can take that.
Turn 3
I draw another land - still keeping Force , Brainstorm + 2 lands after my landdrop.attack with Finks so AI is down to 16 (i´m at 18).
AI plays Dark Depths and a Second Bloodghast.-> attacking for 2 again so we are both at 16. high pressure thats for sure.i decide to not play the brainstorm yet since i might aswell need it to pitch a hexmage. can still play it next turn if i draw a blue spell.
Turn 4
I drew Mox Pearl - not exaclty what i was looking for . at least i´m at 5 mana now and don´t have to pitch the Force now.I attack with Kitchen Finks - can still block Bloodghast later if needed, although they are currently outracing me - got enough out to counter them later.AI down to 13 (i´m at 16) and end my turn.
AI wants to play Vampire Hexmage -> i Force of Will to prevent Dark Depths from overrunning me.
Turn 5
I draw Kitchen Finks and decide that i have to brainstorm now.It reveals a land (meh), swords (good) and a Mana Drain. i put a Plains + the Sword ontop so i can play Kitchen finks and got mana for the Drain.Once again Finks strike for 3 so the AI is down to 10 and i am at 14.Perfect shape with a drain and a sword coming up.
AI wants to play Gatekeeper of Malakir - i drain (might be a missplay since i could have just sacced one finks and get em back) but i want to end it as fast as possible.AI strikes with both Bloodghast again (we are both at 10 life now).
Turn 6
I strike with both Finks for 6 -> and draw the Swords i´ve put back with Brainstorm.i´m in fantastic shape - AI is down to 4 life and can´t block.
AI play Vampire Hexmage ... but doesn´t activate it.
Turn 7
got no choice, have to go all in with the Finks. The AI blocks 1 (netting me 2 life) while throwing the AI back to 1 life. i pass the turn.
AI played Urge to feed to kill of the persisted Kitchen Finks - but taps all his creatures in the process ... while being at 1 life.
Turn 8
Now or never , i attack with the finks. if the AI uses the Hexmage to wake that 20/20 thing - NOW IS THE TIME.
Well he didn´t do the combo and lost . Hard to believe i won this one after that topdeck.
6-0
7)Jatill
Decent hand, 2 lands, 2 force , Pridemage,hierarch - keep
turn1
forest-> hierarch go
AI Tundra go
turn2
plains -> kitchen finks go (drew force nr3)
AI island go
turn3
topdeck Ancestral Recall, tap Hierarch top play it.Gain Goyf, Swords, Finks. Play Pridemage and attack with finks for 5 (exalted).Looking very good so far.
AI plays Plains -> Wall of Denial . i think about it and throw the Force -- better end it quickly before he cheats his 2 ancestrals into play and ends it with Tinker...
turn4
draw ponder, attack with finks for 5 again (2x exalted). play goyf . go (keeping ponder to pitch for Force of Will).Ai down to 10, while i am at 21.
AI plays draw go.
turn 5
draw Goyf, attack with finks, pridemage and goyf(2/3) for 7. AI down to 3. play Kitchen Finks to seal the deal -> still got Force of Will backup to counter anything that could ruin my day.
Ai wants to path to exile my Pridemage - fine for me and does nothing else.
Turn6
Attack with Goyf + 2x Finks for 8 and thats it.
7-0

Scherbchen(again)
Decent hand, bit too passive with 2 lands, 2 swords ,finks , sower + ponder - but playable. -> keep
turn 1
AI starts with Mox Emerald go
drew Mox Sapphire from the top - tempted to play ponder early to gain access to some pressure. so i did it.Revealed Goyf,Swords,Pridemage ... well i got what i wanted ^^ only problem is i got no green mana to play any of these spells for the next 2 turns - so i shuffled it away and drew Jace for it ... not the worst card.
turn2
AI draw - go
i topdeck Mox Emerald and play Jace. +2 revealed force of will . no need ty.
turn3
AI play Emeria ... every time impressive how bad this thing is. -> go
Jace revealed fetchland - perfect for my next turn.i play Kitchen Finks while still holding Sower of Temptation, swords, swords.and end my turn.
turn4
AI path to exiles my Kitchen Finks . can live with it and take the 2nd white mana i would need for Elspeth (Plains).AI plays Tarmogoyf. i´m happy i can finally do something with that Sower of Temptation.
Draw Black Lotus, bad topdeck. Play Sower -> get goyf. scry with Jace. Reveals Finks - keep. end my turn (keeping lotus to eventually throw it back with jace to draw buisness)
turn 5
AI plays Plateau-> Figure of Destiny -> pump 2/2 go
i decide to be a bitch and unsummon it (ai is at 2 lands - gonna keep playing it over and over again till i overan him)not sure if jace ultimate actually works so i don´t even bother trying it.-> attack with sower+goyf(2/3) for 4. ai down to 16 , i´m at 24. play finks-> go
turn 6.
Ai played a second Emeria (whats worse than one Emeria ? right ! two ! turn 6 1 plains in play and 2 emeria THIS is why i don´t like that card. especially cause of the comes into play tapped thing)
AI pathed Sower of Temptation. I react with Swords on the goyf (still mine).Ai played his Figure of Destiny again.
I decide i´ll just stick to brainstorm with Jace and just overwhelm him with quality.
my turn i draw land - use Jace to shuffle back crap for quality (drain + goyf). played goyf with drain backup -> attacked for 3 with finks and ended my turn.
turn7
ai plays finks -> i drain ... against my overrun plan ^^
ai plays loam lion - i don´t care.AI pumps Figure.i decide to use swords while its still small-ai got 4 lands by now.
my turn , drew crap - shuffled it back with jace . see a elspeth pridemage + fetchland -> perfect.use fetchland to get rid of lotus +land ontop.play elspeth with drain mana, play pridemage, pump goyf and attack with goyf for 8 (8/9 , exalted+pumped).AI going to be dead next turn unless he clears the board.
turn8
ai plays Path to Exile on goyf. don´t care finks can fly over aswell...said and done
pump finks , they hit for 7 - ai got 6 -> gg
ai didn´t put up much of a fight.
8-0
9)scherbchen (again) -> this matchmaking must be fucking kidding me....
Starthand 2 land , ancestral recall ,2 swords, 1 sower , 1 finks - i expect a fast win
turn1
tundra go
ai lotus -> land -> pridemage , goyf ... wtf go (i sword his goyf).
turn 2
topdeck mox pearl, play land -> Kitchen Finks
AI path to exile finks, attack with pridemage for 3.Dragonmaster Outcast go
turn 3
Sower of Temptation his Dragonmaster Outcast (4 lands , holding ancestral + swords. using swords to clear wipe his board. go
AI -> path to exile Sower of Temptation( got his Outcast back) go (he´s at 2 lands ...)
turn 4
draw hierarch, not happy with it - play Ancestral Recall and got Warmonk Jace Force of Will . mkay -> play jace , fateseal thing reveals a land -> put it on the bottom.played hierarch (should have brainstormed it away...)
Ai plays Swords to Plowshares on hierarch - whatever.Outcast attacks jace.
turn5
draw timewalk . play Time Walk + Rhox War Monk (usually i keep it, but this is won already).Jace Brainstorm reveals another Force of Will , Mox + Lotus (put back lotus+mox) leaving me with 2 Forces in my hand, a warmonk + jace in play still waiting for a Time Walk ...this game is over.Attack with war Monk during my timewalk turn , played brainstorm from jace.got dissappointed with crap. played ponder.shuffled the junk away and got a manadrain ... hand is now 2 x Force of Will + Manadrain+ hierarch . i play hierarch (could have attacked for 1 more with the exalted) but once again this is just academic how i finish this its actually over.
AI attack jace again and does nothing.
turn 6 i draw fact or fiction , don´t play it yet.attack with war monk (for 4 this time) AI is down to 16 life. jace brainstorm reveals goyf, war monk ,Elspeth. i play elspeth with drain backup.and once again i could have pumped the monk if i used jace before the attack step . guess i´ll never learn it.Just to speed things up i play a 2nd warmonk.still got 2 forces + drain left so nothing could possbibly happen.
AI plays predator - i drain it.
turn7
attack with both monks after pumping and brainstorming this time for 9 (ai blocking 1/1 token with outcast).AI down to 7.Played a Tarmogoyf with enough mana left for a hardcast Force of Will. AI plays a Loam Lion - i force it because there is nothing left with 1 mana that could screw me and i just wanna finish this game.ai plays scute mob - whatever.
turn8
attack with everything -> game over
9-0
10)kakodrillo (again) ... this is just messed up
Hand is 2x hierarch, 3 lands , ancestral recall, force of will - keep without hesitating.
turn1
fetch into tropical -> hierarch
ai fetches into taiga -> go
turn2
fetch -> tundra -> hierarch nr2 . attack with hierarch for 2 (2x exalted). hand is force, drain, ponder, goyf sword land now. should be a win.
AI plays Kird Ape . i don´t care.
turn3
draw Elspeth from the top and decide to play it instead of goyf. can´t happen too much with force backup.
pumped hierarch and attacked for 5.(AI down to 12 life)
AI attacks elspeth , no landdrop again (still at 1 land at turn 3), plays a Gorilla Shaman - no threat no counter .
turn 4
play Tarmogoyf, pump hierarch , attack for 5 - this time with drain AND Force of Will backup .at this point is almost impossible to loose.(ai down to 7)
AI plays another Gorillas Shaman.
turn 5
pump hierarch , attack for 5 go - ignoring the brainstorm i just draw - this is just over.AI down to 2 - still got a drain and force of will in case anything goes wrong.AI plays a chainlightning on my 2/3 Tarmogoyf - making it grow to 3/4.
turn 6
its finally over - pump hierarch attack for 5 -> gauntlet won
10-0
this one is funny in a few ways . the deck would have lost 100% to a human player in game one, but still managed to got all the way to a 10-0 sweep.2nd thing i´ve notice was scherbchen played fricking 3 times - never had this before.3rd thing ... i still haven´t met my own deck in a gauntlet
this gauntlet wasn´t easy at all . lots and lots of tough decisions to make but as it seems i did it quite well.
more than enough for today, gonna try to do the remaining decks tomorrow.
nyktorian

6-0
7)Jatill
Decent hand, 2 lands, 2 force , Pridemage,hierarch - keep
turn1
forest-> hierarch go
AI Tundra go
turn2
plains -> kitchen finks go (drew force nr3)

AI plays a Loam Lion - i force it because there is nothing left with 1 mana that could screw me and i just wanna finish this game.ai plays scute mob - whatever.
turn8
attack with everything -> game over
9-0
10)kakodrillo (again) ... this is just messed up
Hand is 2x hierarch, 3 lands , ancestral recall, force of will - keep without hesitating.
turn1
fetch into tropical -> hierarch
ai fetches into taiga -> go
turn2
fetch -> tundra -> hierarch nr2 . attack with hierarch for 2 (2x exalted). hand is force, drain, ponder, goyf sword land now. should be a win.

Retired a long time ago. I will not reply.

ROFL nice curb stomp there. OK enough of me reading about games and time to start playing some more tonight. I doubt I'll manage anything this filthy though.jatill wrote:...

@stroggoi: I think you tested differently than everybody else :p It seems like you played solo duels against each deck. Everyone else has been playing 10 game gauntlets. If you were playing a gauntlet, rather than solo duels, I couldn't follow your report.
Played a gauntlet with Cognis' deck, I will post it as soon as it uploads. The result was 10-0, though in one match, I exploited AI stupidity to win an unwinnable game, so this was quite lucky
I'd still have had a chance to win that match with a game 3, though, so even if AI hadn't screwed up, a 10-0 was still possible.
1) enigma73 2-1
2) jatill 2-0
3) shantak 2-0
4) yggdrasil 2-0
5) stroggoi 2-0
6) jatill 2-0
7) enigma73 2-1
aww1979 2-0
9) kakodrilo 2-1
10) thedrigo 2-0 WIN
Match 1: Game 1: AI gets Black Vise on turn 1
Couple turns later, Starstorm in response to Armageddon wipes everything out, except the vise. I never draw a land again. 0-1
Game 2: Goblin Sharpshooter and Starstorm keep creatures at bay for several turns. Made a choice to Damnation a single 4/4 Werebear; I had 21 life, so I could've waited for AI to overextend. I end up making the kill 2 turns later, mostly in part to Goblin Piledriver. 1-1
Game 3: Didn't bolt a turn 1 Werebear, because AI rarely attacks with mana creatures, and because Tarmogoyf or other uglies might be coming soon. I end up Starstorming for 1 to kill it next turn, followed by Shatterstorm on three artifacts
My goblins get owned one after another with removal, but the androgynous-looking Chandra Nalaar comes down and commences to wtfpwn, finishing the game with 10 to the face. 2-1
Match 2: Game 1: Mulligan to 6 (debatable, but looked correct to me) AI Tinkers Inkwell Leviathan on turn 2, but I Burning Wish for Innocent Blood
(would've rather gotten Chainer's Edict, but it's not ingame yet!) Blood Moon owns Tundras, leaving jatill with one white and lots of red mana. The Wall of Denial it already had holds me back a few turns, but then I start mountainwalking with a pair of Goblin Kings (muttering about the gay errata even as I wtfpwn with it!) Not even basic island lets it cast anything. 1-0
Game 2: Keep an extremely risky but potentially amazing hand, hoping to get a cheap win with lotus mox 2x fanatic, piledriver. AI plows a fanatic instead of piledriver, and pwnage commences. AI has threads for the fanatic, and eventually plows the piledriver, but is critically low on life. AI fights back with removal, but Demonic Tutor for Lightning Bolt to the head finishes the job. 2-0
Match 3: Game 1: I keep a hand that I probably would have mulled against any other deck, because it has two fanatics, which are incredible against ball lightning/groundbreaker. Demonic Tutor goes for Goblin King, and the win soon follows. 1-0
Game 2: Keep a somewhat iffy hand, but it does have fanatic and lightning bolt. First turn sees two spark elementals hit me, and a strip mine on one of my two lands has me quite worried, but fortunately I draw a couple more lands right away. Fanatic shoots a ball lightning, blood moon kills shantak's green mana, I take another ball to the face (7). I hold back playing Nevinyrral's Disk to keep Bolt mana available, and it proves to save me from losing the game, as I have to bolt the Groundbreaker that comes next turn, but I still take 3 from another Spark Elemental. (4) Sharpshooter comes down, ready for groundbreaker, etc, Chandra follows, and the game is soon won. Finishing blow done by Wishing for Goblin Grenade! 2-0
Match 4: Urge to Feed and Gatekeepers decimate me, but Damnation wipes out three vampires. AI recurs bloodghast and gets kalastria, and urge to feeds my goblin. I play goblin king, to deter bloodghast, but kalastria (the vamps have 1/1 counters from feeding) keeps coming. I have Damnation in hand, and am hoping AI will overextend before I come to regret not holding the King and Damning right now. It does indeed overextend. Chandra absorbs an attack, and I Damnation four more vampires. Bloodghasts resurrect, but Sharpshooter comes down, and Chandra shoots AI while Sharpshooter shoots bloodghasts. I misplay and forget to attack with piledriver one turn, but it only costs me 1 damage, and I win next turn anyway. Damnation wins MVP. 1-0
Game 2: Piledriver kicks some serious ass, and the game is done very quickly, with no resistance offered at all. 2-0
Match 5: Game 1: stroggoi's four Kor Firewalkers worry me, and with good reason, as one shows up very early. I draw Nevvy's Disk, and AI plays a wasted Dragon Fodder on its turn, since I'm going to Disk anyway. Life totals are 12-25 for AI, but it has no hand or board except lands. I play two hasted goblins and swing. AI gets Black Lotus and Figure of Destiny. I have Lightning Bolt in hand. I realize I will lose in 2 turns for sure, unless I get Damnation, but I plan an AI exploit, and in response to AI making FoD 4/4, I Bolt it, gambling that it will be too stupid to respond by making it 4/4 again. The AI snafus! FoD dies!
The crowd goes wild! Next turn, Patriarch's Bidding resurrects hordes on both sides, but my horde is hasted and mountainwalking, and I win before AI gets to use anything that Bidding gave it. 1-0
Game 2: Turn 2 Kor Firewalker looks bad, and Dragon Fodder and a bolt on my goblin follow. I have Demonic Tutor in hand, and draw Damnation, but have only 3 mana. Debating whether to tutor for mana, I instead plop down a sharpshooter for the tokens, hoping I'll draw one instead. AI attacks, and plays a second Firewalker. I tutor for a land, since I'm already at 12. (could've tutored for lotus to Damnation right then, but decided to take the 4 from the next attack, hoping AI overextends. It didn't.) Down to 8 from Firewalkers, I damnation, but AI plays two Skyknight Legionnaires next turn. (4 life) I topdeck Damnation! pwnd. AI topdecks a kicked bushwhacker, I'm down to 2, and AI is at 24, AND I know he has bolts/helixes in deck. Next couple turns sees goblins come down like crazy, and I attack for the win, with only 2 life left. Damnation again wins MVP. 2-0
Match 6: Game 1: jatill's deck plays a Baneslayer on *turn 1*, and I'm thinking 'oh crap...'. I have Damnation and draw Demonic Tutor, but have no black mana. AI then Paths my only goblin. (SWAMP!!!!) I have 10 life, and can get mana for damnation, or a second lightning bolt for BA. However, I sit back and weigh the merits of waiting a turn, to see if AI will play a second creature. Deciding that it would have already (instead of pathing my goblin) if it had one, (it has Mana Vault to cast one) I tutor the lotus and Damn the Angel to hell. I topdeck Nevvy's Disk, and feel much safer. Then I topdeck Blood Moon, and slap it down, mountainizing four nonbasics, leaving only a plains and red. (no, mountainize isn't a real word :p) Next few turns are boring, until AI O-Rings my Blood Moon, not showing the target until it resolves. I thought this was a bug, but careful reading of O-Ring now shows me that it isn't. I draw Burning Wish, and start looking for something really evil, settling upon Flashfires, since he has tundras again. AI has no lands, now, but does have a mox pearl/ruby and tapped mana vault. I keep a couple goblins in hand, due to my Disk in play and possible StP/PtE with that mox pearl, but end up playing them once I get up to 8 cards in hand. AI plays Tinker, and I'm thinking Inkwell, but apparently Mox Sapphire is secret tech or something, because that's what it picks, though I could've disked the inkwell anyway. I disk, since Wall of Denial is out, and oddly it destroys both O-Ring (normal) and the Blood Moon underneath it (not correct), but since AI has only one nonbasic (Library of Alexandria) I don't really worry. The goblins I've been holding come down, and they quickly win. Damnation once more wins MVP, stopping the turn 1 Baneslayer! 1-0
Game 2: I use a Lotus to whip out a Warchief and Piledriver turn 1. O-Ring removes warchief, which is a big mistake, especially when Wall of Denial comes down, as piledriver goes right on past it. The win is so easy it hurts. 2-0
Match 7: Game 1: A quick blood moon looks good, though Mox Diamond helps get around it, as does a plains later on. I debate exploding the Disk, but plop down a Piledriver instead. Terravore gets bigger as a second Diamond pitches a land, and I chump a 2/2 vore with piledriver, as I plan to use Disk soon anyway, but am reluctant to do so due to Blood Moon. (this was almost certainly a mistake) Werebear thresholds, and Qasali comes down, and finally I Disk, facing 8 damage while at 10 life. A second Blood Moon is happily drawn, and AIs green mana is cut off. Demonic Tutor gets Chandra. (instead of piledriver) Chandra is slower, but AI has no way to stop it, while removal might hit the piledriver. The win comes easily with a few more turns. 1-0
Game 2: I mulligan a hand with two black and no red mana. I bolt one tarmogoyf, but the next goyf is 4/5. We trade beatings, though things are looking grim for me, and I want a 4th land for Damnation. Instead, I draw another Damnation :p Still, I deter attacks for a few turns with my goblins, though a human would be using his Knight of Reliquary. Eventually, I get that 4th mana and Damn the board, then immediately Damn again, against a lone 4/4 Werebear. (life totals 8-8) Qasali comes down, and my drawn piledriver is not big enough to scare it. Another 4/4 Bear drops, and I chump it next turn, and play Patriarch's Bidding after that. (my only play that doesn't result in a loss right then) I get 5 goblins, but AI gets four 5/6 Tarmogoyfs. Needless to say, I still lose, but at least I delayed it a bit. 1-1
Game 3: Board stalls until I tutor for blood moon, only to topdeck a second one next turn.
Mountainwalk kicks ass for the win. 2-1
Match 8: Game 1: AI gets a 4/4 Nyxathid, but my warchief kamikazes into it, and sharpshooter does the rest. The next nyxathid gets a hit in, but I bolt/sharpshooter it the next turn, when my draw shrinks it. Cao Cao comes down, and fanatic/sharpshooter kill him. I don't think the discard deck has played any discard all game :p The game gets into a boring draw-go routine. I Burning Wish for the unusual choice of Elemental Appeal and kicker it, for the win. 1-0
Game 2: Mind Twist powered by ritual/lotus empties my hand, but I have two goblins in play already, and the win comes quickly despite the Twist. 2-0
Match 9: Game 1: Mull to five cards due to only seeing black land. My ass is quickly handed to me on a silver platter, as Slith Firewalker is always just out of range of my burn. 0-1
Game 2: I keep an iffy hand, and the game starts out poorly for me, but then I get nice draws. (land, bolt, land) Removal toasts my gobbies, but out of nowhere I topdeck black lotus, slap down Patriarch's Bidding, and all those gobbies that got toasted come back for a vengeance! 1-1
Game 3: I play a Starstorm for 1 to clear the board, only the AI is too dumb to use fanatics in response, so my piledrivers survive! The game would have been darned close if it had played smart. Burning Wish for Lava Spike ends it. 2-1
Match 10: Game 1: Qasali Pridemage and Knight of Meadowgrain get early beatings in, and I'm thinking this game is lost, especially when two O-Rings hit my goblins. I manage to get Chandra out just in time, and he toasts Qasali, the first time all gauntlet I've used the 2nd ability. Reveillark comes out, Chandra toasts him, returning Qasali. Beatings have left me at 4 life, but I'm slowly getting back into control. AI screws up Stirring Wildwood, tapping it to animate itself, likely costing the game. I get Burning Wish, and choose Void, as all AIs creatures in play are 2cc, and only one of mine is. However, I don't play it right away, as I have enough board position to survive, barely. AI plays Worship.
I keep Void around; even if I use it, AI has Stirring Wildwood to block. Chandra pokes AI, while I sit around. I might be able to sneak past Worship if I Void, but it depends on how smart the AI is with Stirring Wildwood, so I wait, since I can't lose by now, as long as I can get around Worship, and eventually I do, though I probably could've won a lot faster if I hadn't been so paranoid, as I was assuming the AI would play optimally. 1-0
Game 2: Turn 3 Blood Moon gives the AI 3 mountains, and never casts a spell after that. 2-0
Yikes, that was long, but there were quite a few interesting games this gauntlet, so I felt I should do them justice.

(everything after that)
Played a gauntlet with Cognis' deck, I will post it as soon as it uploads. The result was 10-0, though in one match, I exploited AI stupidity to win an unwinnable game, so this was quite lucky

1) enigma73 2-1
2) jatill 2-0
3) shantak 2-0
4) yggdrasil 2-0
5) stroggoi 2-0
6) jatill 2-0
7) enigma73 2-1

9) kakodrilo 2-1
10) thedrigo 2-0 WIN
Match 1: Game 1: AI gets Black Vise on turn 1

Match 2: Game 1: Mulligan to 6 (debatable, but looked correct to me) AI Tinkers Inkwell Leviathan on turn 2, but I Burning Wish for Innocent Blood

FoD dies!

enigma
1)Salbei (whoohoow! first time i get to play against it)
1 hand land with 2 mox diamonds 2 swords, knight,pridemage - looks like a mulligan.->mulligan to 6
next hand looking a lot better : Black Vise,Mox Diamond, 3 lands + Armageddon - considering i should have some time to get things going i keep it.Also the turn 1 could turn out to be an autowin against my deck.
Turn 1
AI Fetchland->Tundra go
I start with Mox Diamond and Wasteland his Tundra , Black Vise. should do major damage against my slow deck.Especially since he didn´t play a Mox.
Turn2
AI taking 2 (Vise) go
Savannah go
Turn3
AI taking 3 (vise) , play tundra, go
i play Fetchland (but don´t activate ,i want at least 1 land in my hand before i armageddon) go
Turn4
AI taking 3 (vise) , play Plains go
i activate my fetchland and play Goyf (1/2). (AI swords it EOT) Didn´t really expect it to stick, but was hoping for a Path to Exile.AI gonna drop a wall sooner or later so its gonna be useless anyway.
Turn5
AI taking 2 (vise -> down to 9) plays Balance (i don´t loose anything while the AI discards down to 3)- literally no threat beside Black Vise on the board and the AI seriously gimps itself with Balance.
I play fetchland -> Armageddon (hope Black Vise gonna go all the way , i know my deck starts at at least 3 mana , should get him into vise range very soon and i´m still ahead with Mox Diamond and the AIs boards is empty after Armageddon), already Wasteland one of his lands. his Balance took another so he is at 3 cards 3 lands ... unlickly that he is going to recover after that. His board would be empty after the Armageddon ... would very unlickly he is going to recover with basicly giving him a mulligan to 3 and exile 5 of his lands.prolly got something like Baneslayer Angel,Wall of Reverence or removal in his hand - just 3 cards afterall so i go for it. Didn´t have any Creature i could throw at him so playing Armageddon now was the right play and i stick to it.
Turn6
AI -> Plains go (doh)
i draw go
Turn7
AI plays Island go (doh)
i play Isamaru go
turn 8
AI Path to Exiles Isamaru and plays Tundra (at least i get a land thank god) go
I play Black Vise nr2. (ai still at 3 cards cause of that Balance) (still didn´t draw any buisness.hand is: wrath armageddon, swords - everything is dead)
Turn 9
AI Tundra go (3 lands, 8 life,3 cars in hand)
i draw Goyf from the top and play it.
turn 10
AI plays mox ruby -> control Magic... could have sworn he got no removal left and is just holding Walls.
i sword my old goyf.
turn 11
AI evokes Mulldrifter, plays his 4th land (i´m at 1 land ....this Armageddon backfired, what are the odds ?)
i draw+play Pridemage with 1 mana floating to kill his mox in case it gets removed.
Turn 12
AI plays another Land and Baneslayer Angel (oh christ)
i draw + play Terravore (12/12) thank god, i can easily race him with that.
Turn 13
AI plays Baneslayer Angel (got 2 of em in play now), attacks with one (AI back at 17,me at 14)
I draw, curse and play Black Vise - still nothing else i can do , keeping Armageddon + Wrath of God in my hand due to lack of mana (got Diamond,Emerald + Plains in play in the meantime).i attack with Vore. for 13 (exalted) AI is down to 4.A single mana for a 2nd Armageddon gonna seal this pretty quick, high chance i´m gonna draw it.
Turn 14
AI play Control Magic on my Vore - i need a mana from the top now or these Angels steal the game- AI attacking with both Angels for 10 - throwing me down to 4 while the ai is at 14 now (exchanged Lifepoints).EOT i sac Pridemage to kill Control Magic to get my fatty back.
I untap Terravore (12/12) and draw Knight of the Reliquary - damn.my hand is Wrath of God, Armageddon, Knight of Reliquary while i got 3 mana only and can´t win like i planned it (Play Armageddon -> attack).single land was missing for several turns : ( The 3 Black Vise on the Board did next to nothing beside the first one... anyway i attack for 12 - ai is down to 2 and i pass the turn knowing i have lost.
Turn 15
AI plays Sol Ring, Tawnos Coffin, activates Coffin on Knight. Attacks with both Angels and beats me.
Couple unfavorable things happened. Balance was the one thing that forced me to play the Armageddon cause the ai discarded quite a lot of cards and was down to 3 cards .3 cards in hand, board empty -> should be an easy win, especially since i know the deck need at least 3 mana to get things going with my deck (Wall of Denial,Mulldrifter) while another large chunk of the deck needs 4 or 5 mana.Gonna take him like 5-6 turns to get up to 3 lands, in the meantime i´m ahead 1 mana and only need 2 for a goyf or maybe 3 for Vore/Knight.Was very favorable and i´m sure it was the right play.
The AI just topdecked one land after another and made me look stupid.
Check turn 5 and please reply if you would have made the same play.I´m sure it was the right play in that situation with all the given informations.

Jatill's deck absolutely crushed in my games tonight. I went 10-0 with his deck in the gauntlet I ran. While running his deck the Library of Alexandria was phenomenal. Most of the games weren't very close. Some of the memorable highlights: Brandon's deck used Shatterstorm to kill my Inkwell Leviathan. Against Strogoii's deck I went T1 Baneslayer followed by T2 Sphinx. Aww1979 managed to get a T1 Cao Cao Lord of Wei which was did not end well for me.
I ran my own deck and went 5-1 losing to Nyktorian. I was surprised to see the AI countered the correct spells; most of the testing I did previously the AI was terrible with this. Or maybe he just countered all my early plays. Clamp was awesome as usual.
I also played thedrigo's white weenie list. I went 3-1 losing to Jatill. Worship was awesome in round 2 versus Brandon and saved my butt from Hidetsugu's Second Rite. In the deciding game against Jatill I could have raced the T2 Baneslayer, but I couldn't race the follow up T3 Inkwell Leviathan.
Jatill your deck is ridiculous.
