When playtesting against Aww's i've noticing the game hangs anytime it has Engineered Explosives in his hand.

Jatill, there are issues with Sword of Fire and Ice as well as Loxodon Warhammer. When I equip these cards to Shadowmage Infiltrator they produce no additional effect for me when he deals damage. I get to draw the card with Shadowmage Infiltrator, but I don't get the SoFI trigger or the life gain trigger from Loxodon Warhammer.

This problem occurs on basically all of my creatures that produce an effect when they deal damage (Looter il-Kor, Shadowmage Infiltrator, Scroll Thief).

I was testing Coastal Piracy and I noticed that it seemed to trigger correctly for my creatures. Hopefully that card can be a good point of comparison (?)

I did some testing and Chandra Nalar sometimes doesn't deal damage but the damage card just stays saying damage 1 (red), but later it works fine, so I don't know much more. Bituminous Blast into Sarkhan Vol but it didn't enter play and I played Harmonize and it entered play as a permanent without me drawing a card which it never done before, strange.

Nice catch. I can fix this, at the downside that teh AI will only play it for 0. Still, better than hanging. Now if only I could figure out how to prevent the AI from cheating with Necro...

Is there weird playtechnique when using Necro?

The odd behaviour I've seen is just the AI suicidally necroing for huge amounts when staring down the barrel of a bunch of creatures it can't deal with.

From what I see, the AI doesn't have to discard after it necros.

AH yeah. I've noticed that when I have a Library of Leng in play w/ Necro I still have to discard down to 7. Maybe the two are related?

I was really hoping no one would take Choke. Either that or I was hoping to hate draft it before anyone else thought to take it (I am obviously the person that gets boned the most by Choke).

I've been eyeing Choke and Gloom for a long time, but I didn't think anyone would take them, so I left them for near the end. 4 people have blue and 4 people have white (some are the same people) so I figured they were good picks, especially since I can tutor for them if needed.

Well without a SB they are still marginal picks I mean even if I expected 50% of a tournament to be blue I would never put Choke in my main deck.

This is assuming for some random reason the tournament does not have a SB option.

I might or might not actually put them in. I haven't decided yet. I had liked the idea a bit more when there were other options to pitch them if useless, like Chrome Mox or Contagion, but those got taken.
