16) juzamjedi 2-0
17) thedrigo 2-0
18) shantak 2-0
Video will be available when it uploads... unfortunately, it's pretty boring for these ones :p Mostly long, dull games in which the outcome wasn't really in doubt, but took forever for the AI to realize it. Several games degenerated into 'AI draws and discards something useful it could have played' while I was going 'draw and do nothing while waiting for baneslayer'.

Bah Salbei, you're just trying to steer the meta toward Jund so you can come out with U/W Control!

j/k good stuff man.

I've got my Legacy deck just about ready to rock, and the AI loves it so far. Should be a great field of decks coming out for the next one...

For deck building, I'd make absolutely sure your deck has a good matchup against Nyktorion Zoo from the previous tourney. If my deck designs can't beat cheap good beats and removal, they are out. Also the larger builds like Bant and White Weenie lifegain first strike are super important to test against. And Salbei seems to have cracked out a good one this time- I would test against that as well.

19) thedrigo 2-0
20) stroggoii 2-1

Finally lost a game in match 20 :p Still completed the 20 game gauntlet, though. I had to restart match 19 due to the game locking up, but got the same opponent (thedrigo) again. The lost game was due to too much land; I started with 3 land and 4 spells, and I don't think I drew another spell all game :p

Video coming once it uploads; I'll start Yggdrasil's deck in the 20 game gauntlet now.

Playing with Yggdrasil's deck:

1) stroggoii 2-0
2) thedrigo 2-0
3) thedrigo 2-0
4) scherbchen 2-1
5) nyktorion 0-2

Reviewing Match 5:

Game 1: I mulligan and end up with 4x swamp, mox jet, bloodghast. It's not very good, but going down to 5 cards isn't likely to help much. AI gets mox emerald, island, ponder on turn 1, and plays Tundra, Qasali Pridemage on turn 2. On my turn 3, I draw and play Vampire Nocturnus, but it gets hit with Force of Will. Tarmogoyf comes down next turn, and I draw mostly land except for a demigod that got countered.

Game 2: My first hand has one swamp and six spells. I mull to 6 again, and have 2x swamp 2x hexmage, demigod, kalastria, and keep it. AI plays tropical island, mox, black lotus, kitchen finks turn 1. I play hexmage turn 2, but sac it in response to AI playing sower of temptation. I play another hexmage and take 2 from sower; AI plays noble hierarch. I dark ritual a Demigod out and attack (18-17 life) An exalted sower hits me for 3, and Rhox War Monk comes down. I play Bloodghast and Kalastria Highborn and attack with demigod again. (15-12) I'm thinking AI won't attack with rhox since I can kill it with two blockers, but he surprises me, and I trade kalastria and hexmage for war monk, and take 2 from sower. (13-15, AI gains 3 from rhox) I attack with demigod and bloodghast, who trades with 3/2 finks. AI topdecks swords to plowshares and kills my demigod, then attacks. (14-12) I attack with bloodghast and try to drain life the sower that I topdeck, but mana drain stops me. (14-10) I'm not sure what happens after that, as my video lags, and I miss the end of the duel, but if memory serves, I just drew mostly swamps after that.

Other than possibly the mulligan decisions, I don't think I did anything wrong in match 5.

Therefore, the results are:
1) Salbei (wins tiebreaker)
2) Yggdrasil (loses tiebreaker)
3) Stroggoi (3rd place)

So now that we know the winners, wich will be the prize cards?

I asked for Sarkhan the Mad if he can be made.

I have no idea :p That's up to Jatill :) I'd expect that sarkhan is doable, though.

Congratulations Salbei !
We had the same score although AI played your deck less often than mine, so you really deserve the first place. :D

If I was Aww1979, I would have start playing Vampire instead of Stall in the final round.

Sorry guys, you suggested me several great cards but since I have the right to choose only one card, I will take Urza's Bauble, an old friend of mine and an interesting deck thinner.

I can probably do Edict and maybe Extripate, but definitely not Urborg. Got another choice?

Urborg is already in the game, Yggdrasil used it in the tournament :)

In fact, Salbei thought about Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth which is not yet coded.
Powerful card, imho.

Yeah shows their lack of imagination. Two lands both called Urbog, I guess Urbog, Tomb of Yawgmoth is what it becomes in the future after Yawgmoth dies.

Would definatly like to see Nostalgic Dreams - otherwise Reclaim or Cranial Extraction.Consuming Vapors would also be nice, but 3 new black cards is a bit too much :P
