Yeah, no problem. To be honest, I'd probably have done exactly what you did, though I might've waited to take Putrid Leceh, unless you expected me to grab that one, too. (I couldn't care less this draft :p) I can still get some lands like overgrown tomb or savage lands, or wierder stuff like treetop village, but again, as a (planned) two colour deck, I'm not as worried as you are with three colours. I also stayed far away from blue for exactly the same reason you did. Even picking third, I figured while I might be able to snag some nice blue thing off the top, I'd have to fight for every counterspell and card draw, so even from round one I planned to go something nonblue.Cognis wrote:Sorry awwI didn't want to go for lands this early but since I have a 3-coloured deck grabbing dual lands became a priority since basic lands are not such a viable option for me and since RG and RB don't seem to be high on the priority list of others I clearly had no choice but to go for them this early on, there are still good BG lands out there so you can pick them. And yes, now it really starts to be fun but in a way it was good I was way back in the order because if I was among the first I'd have to go for broken blue cards and there is a big crowd for those.
