Excellent, I wonder how the decks will do, I'll play the matches even though I'm not in the tournament.

My money is on Greed, as it is a useful black Legends card that is right beside Grim Discovery; he probably just clicked over one by mistake and didn't notice.

How are we scoring the matches? The old scoring (2 points for 2-0, 1 point for 2-1, 3 points to AI for 1-2, 5 points to AI for 0-2) or the one we are using in rotisserie tournament (2 points to the deck that does better in a matchup or 1 point for both)?

We're using the old scoring system.
Please use this version to do score matches: http://www.mediafire.com/file/nrzfoccmx ... 110104.zip
The other "new" version messed up the code for my Thrulls, and they will just suicide attack every time.

Salbei-
There's no need to skip your own matches from testing. Don't you think you can be a fair judge like everyone else? If you still feel compelled to skip, you'll need to skip your entire group.

Just thought i´ll give those matches the minimum points (2-0 for the player), haven´t even checked the decks for group B yet.
The Ai winning with a deck is giving you a massive boost and it always looks "odd" when you report your own deck doing that.Guess there is no way to avoid it.Would also save a ton of time to be honest.
But you are right, skipping the complete group would be the only "fair" way.

I try playing matches in limited and which ever deck I use it says my deck isn't legal, I'm using the latest update I don't get what the problem might be.

When playing with my deck, I strongly recommend keeping ANY three card hand you get, even if it has no mana sources. I included extra mana sources in the deck, so if you get three spell cards in your opening hand, your odds of drawing a mana source after that start are almost 50/50. Other than that, I don't expect that there will be too many play decisions to make with my deck; it's very luck based, depending on whether you get one of the bombs like Timetwister early or not.

I just finished playing Round1 Group A.
Nobody lost a complete match so everybody got more or less the same points.
The win rate and point difference is quite interesting though.

Jatill and 240SXFOREVER both got a 50% win rate but got different points (5 points vs 6points).
240SXFOREVER and Shantak both got 6 points but with a 7% better win rate. difference(50% vs 57%).That is quite huge for a small test sample like this.
Due to 2 out of 3 2-1 wins for Aww he got the least points / %rate (4 points, 42%) in the group.
Was quite surprising for me since his deck seemed to be the most powerful, at least was the most fun one to play for me.
Shantak and 240SXFOREVER both gained 6 points and are tied for the lead.

Jatill 5
Aww 4

by win rate:
Shantak 57,14%
Jatill / 240SXFOREVER 50%
Aww 42%

I kinda forgot the score system.
Just to be sure here is what i thought we are using:

2-0 win = 2 points for the player deck / 0 points for the AI deck
2-1 win = 1 points for the player deck / 0 points for the AI deck

1-2 loss = 0 points for the player deck / 3 points for the AI deck
0-2 loss = 0 points for the player deck / 5 points for the AI deck

Is this correct ? Looks strange since the AI deck doesn´t gain anything from winning when it lost the match. (2-1)
Shantak + Jatill should have gotten more points because their AI deck lost 1-2 instead of 0-2 or am i missing something ?

Edit oh never mind. Its in the Tournament rule topic. So my memory was still working

Edit2:

Shantak wrote:M11 cards are incredibly powerful if a little expensive. 30 life buffer helps M11 greatly there, when a bomb hits table its over for Arabian Nights unless there's Oubliette in hand.
...
M11 deck has such bombs that when it hits six mana it's game over really soon.
That was exactly my game plan. Pack as many complete broken creatures into a single deck and plain overpower the opponent.M11 was just the perfect set for this.
I´ve tried a LOT of different versions and it took very long to get away from green (Garruk Cultivate Cudgel Troll Birds of Paradise Primordial Titan Fauna Shaman) because i feared the Ai will do to many misplays (especially with Fauna Shaman the Ai did the weirdest things ... such a powerful card but the Ai just gimps itself over and over again with it).

Was pretty much the same with black (Royal Assassin Grave Titan Doom Blade).
Even blue had a bunch of very playable cards (Frost Titan Mini-Jace and a bunch of really nice flying Creatures).Lots of nice cards there but most of the time i ended up only "wanting" to play like 3 of them.
I had around 12 different decks prepared and the AI played the one i´ve submitted best.A 3 colored Green/White/Black was my close second choice.

I also had to remove a couple very strong cards because the AI just won´t use them right. The basic idea was always the same - ramp up to 5 or 6 mana and flood the opponent with must-handle-threats until he runs out of removal.Almost any creature in the deck can win the game on its own.

I think what happened is people are using the latest Manalink that removed Tor Wauki from the card database. Not a huge deal. I'm fine with changing it to Greed for purpose of this tournament.

Tor is still in there in the limited version. Did you build your deck using the constructed version?

Is Ring of Ma'Ruf legal in the Arabian deck? What can it fetch? I got Control Magic, but felt dirty afterwards.

Yes, I built my deck using the constructed version (which is always how I build these tournament decks). I remember a note about Tor Wauki getting removed and think that was what bit me here :)

So are we going to change Grim Discovery with Greed in Juzamjedi's deck?

Jatill you told that its ok to use Ring of Ma'ruf if it targets only cards from Arabian set.

Ante cards are banned. Ring is fine, as long as you only find cards from Arabians.
