Agreed; loved the tournament format, even if I did get last place

I liked the execution of the tournament a lot. I've shared my thoughts about this particular points system / format already, but that does not really matter because there is always a "best deck" for any format you create. The whole idea of "here is a custom format can you figure out what to do with it" is very cool.

Trading life for points was a nice twist. The Zoo deck could be built to get a lot of aggressive starts that kill a low life total by turn 4. This is probably my favorite part of this tournament; the AI is pretty good with Aggro decks in general so giving players enough rope to hang themselves with aggressive deckbuilding is fun.

Jatill, do I get 1 card choice for winning? I can't seem to find the post that said prize structure. Here are my choices in order of preference:

1. Vendilion Clique
2. Jhoira of the Ghitu
3. Tsabo's Decree (how good would this be against Tribal Trials? )
4. Gifts Given (wacky, but this seems do-able)
5. Jhoira Avatar (see here) (even wackier, but would be fun for a future Vanguard tournament)

Just 1. Clique it is.
I was thinking of making the Jhoria avatar recently so I could play MoJo, but I assumed the AI would be completely incompetent and didn't do it. I still enjoy a game of momir now and then.
