Round 1

Score:
Shantak - 3+1+3+1 = 8
AWW1979 - 2+3 = 5
Stroggoii - 2+3 = 5

Group A
Shantak vs Aww1979
| Open
Game 1
Win
3 Blazing Specters made this an easy game.

Game 2
Win
AI got everything it needed, but had to pitch it to Specter and Blightning.

Result 2-0

Aww1979 vs Shantak
| Open
Game 1
Win
Soul warden and reactive removal win this game.

Game 2
Loss
Too many threats, 2 Specters and 3 Hounds.

Game 3
Win
Hard mulligan choices, but 2 soul wardens coupled with bitter blossom win this game.

2-1

Shantak vs Stroggoii
| Open
Game 1
Win
There was just to much disruption for the AI to break through, even with a resolved bitter blossom.

Game 2
Win
Same as above.

Score: 2-0

Stroggoii vs Shantak
| Open
Game 1
Win
Bitter Blossom + Ajani = Win

Game 2
Loss
The AI had to much burn, multiple Blightnings and 2 each of Hound and Specter made this match a nightmare.

Game 3
Win
3 elixir of immortality and 2 Bitter Blossom win this round easily.

Score: 2-1

Aww1979 vs Stroggoii
| Open
Game 1
Win
Enough control to keep the board locked down and beat for game with Faerie tokens.

Game 2
Win
2 Soul warden and Bitter Blossom seal this game.

Score: 2-0

Stroggoii vs Aww1979
| Open
Game 1
Win
If the AI had better targeting skills with O-ring and Vindicate then this would have been a tough game. As it was, 2 Bitter Blossom pumped with Ajani made this an easy match.

Game 2
Win
Ajani and Bitter Blossom yet again make for an easy win.

Score: 2-0

**Here are my results for Group B. Use them at your discretion, otherwise consider them as comments only.**

Group B
Jatill - 2+0 = 2
Cognis - 1+3+1 = 5
240sxforever - 3+3+2+3 = 11

Jatill vs Cognis
| Open
Game 1
Win
Garruk overrun wins, opponet only played 1 creature.

Game 2
Loss
Out paced by turn 2 Raise the alarm, turn 3 Honor of the pure, turn 4 Honor of the pure and Raise the alarm.

Game 3
Easy Win
Pulled every land out of the deck, with 2 Rampaging baloths in play, easy win.

Score: 2-1

Cognis vs Jatill
| Open
Game 1
Win
Fast token rush.

Game 2
Easy Win
2 Squires and Soul warden backed by Honor of the pure made for a quick match. I don't think Jatill has enough life to be stable in this bracket.

Score: 2-0

Jatill vs 240sxforever
| Open
Game 1
Loss
AI turn 2 and 3 Watch wolves, turn 4 Hierarch, turn 5 Glorious anthem and win. The wolves were just to big and fast for the starting life.

Game 2*
Loss
Even grinding the ground war to a halt, a 5/5 Emeria angel finished the match quickly.

*Had to run this game a second time due to a game crash around turn 5.

+As with the 0-2 last month I reran this match up twice, and came back 1-2 on both. I think that is the average number, luck aside.

Score 0-2

240sxforever vs Jatill
| Open
Game 1
Easy Win
Turn 2 Honor of the pure, turn 3 Glorious anthem, turn 4 Emeria angel, turn 5 fetch land and O-ring on the AI creature seals this game.

Game 2
Win
Rough game, AI played all 3 Acidic slimes, 2 hitting O-rings but in the end 2 Hierarch's 8 life and Emeria's flying decided the game.
2-0

Cognis vs 240sxforever
| Open
Game 1
Win
Close game, if the AI had known how to play I would have been dead. Managed to stay alive behind a worship as the AI O-ringed my Honor of the pure and attacked with everything multiple times.

Game 2
Loss
6/6 Watchwolf, 7/7 Hierarch and 4/4 Soul warden ended this game on turn 6 or 7.

Game 3
Loss
2 6/6 hierarchs, backed with removal for 2 of the 4 creatures I played were enough to push through the damage.

Score: 1-2

It comes down to does the Cognis deck get the Worship and can it keep the Worship from O-ring.

240sxforever vs Cognis
| Open
Game 1
Win
7/7 Hierarch was bigger than anything the AI played, Emeria angel and 2 tokens finished the match.

Game 2
Win
AI got to 27 with 2 Soul wardens, but a 5/5 Angel and 2 3/3 tokens finished the round in a few swings.

Score: 2-0

Group C

Score:
Aswan Jaguar -3+1+1 =5
Alex Ryugami -3+3 =6
Juzamjedi -2+2+3 =7

Aswan Jaguar vs Alex Ryugami
| Open
Game 1
Win
Double bitter blossom with Might of oaks made quick work of this game.

Game 2
Win
Glorious anthem aggro, with bitter blossom.

Score: 2-0

Alex Ryugami vs Aswan Jaguar
| Open
Game 1
Win
2 Emeria angels and a Grave titan, AI had no removal.

Game 2
Win
Twin Emeria angels again win the game. That is just to many tokens for the AI to overcome with the clock created.

Score: 2-0

Aswan Jaguar vs Juzamjedi
| Open
Game 1
Win
I do not think it is possible to find a better top deck than what this game provided. I started with bitter blossom and Anthem, then moved on to removal, blinding mage and disenchant, all at the perfect times.

Game 2
Loss
The AI played 5 removal spells, could not draw enough creatures to push through.

Game 3
Loss
AI played enough removal to clear the way for Grave titan.

Score: 1-2

Juzamjedi vs Aswan Jaguar
| Open
Game 1
Win
10/8 Grave titan and its spawn finished this easily.

Game 2
Loss
Every creature I played met with removal.

Game 3
Win
2 Bitter blossoms backed by Vampire nighthawk pushed through for a win.

Score: 2-1

Alex Ryugami vs Juzamjedi
| Open
Game 1
Win
2 Grave titans raced Bitter blossom quite well.

Game 2
Win
Held out while AI's Bitter blossoms drained its health.

Score: 2-0

Juzamjedi vs Alex Ryugami
| Open
Game 1
Win
4/4 Nighthawk wins games.

Game 2
Win
Yet again, Vampire nighthawk backed with removal wins the game.

Score: 2-0

Here are the finals for the round, as always if you see any errors in count please let me know.

Side Event
| Open
Deck 1
End life = 1
Bitter blossom chewed away at both life totals, beat the AI to 1 and flew over with my life total hit 1 as well.

Deck 2
End life = 1
Bitter blossom with fetch lands and Elixir to fine tune the life

Deck 3
End life = 2
Masticore and Rock slide elemental killed a lot of faerie-rogue tokens. But yet again bitter blossom won out.

It would be tough to build a deck more perfect for this side event than this one.

Deck 4
Loss
Drew 10 lands an 6 non-lands, AI popped 3 Elixir of immortality.

Deck 5
End life = 2
Worship saved me from a double Might of oaks Cudgel Troll, seeing an 18/17 troll swinging unblocked is a bit scary.

Deck 6
Loss
3 Wiltleaf cavilers, sealed the deal. I drew into 2 bloodghast and 4 land.

Deck 7
End life = 1
Tough game, AI resolved 3 Juggernauts and 2 Masticore, but Bitter blossom and fetch lands put me at 1 on the last possable turn.

Deck 8
End life = 1
AI had turn 2 double Steppe lynx and turn 5 Primeval titan. I hid behind bloodghast and worship until the AI decked itself.

Deck 9
End life = 1
Bitter blossom and Woolly thoctar took me to 1, faerie tokens finished the AI.

Deck 10
Loss
Inferno Titans on turns 6 and 7 made this a loss.

I made a bad mulligan decision on deck 6, but other than that, the games were interesting and had a fun twist to the strategy.

Aswan Jaguar VS Alex Ryugami 0-2 LOSE
Game 1: Lost to two emeria angles and their birdies.
Game 2: No way I could survive nighthawk and a titan with just a blinding mage.

Aswan Jaguar VS Juzamjedi 2-0 WIN
Game 1: With emeria angel and bitterblossom by my side I could alpha strike comfortably.
Game 2: Flew over zombies for the win after pathing the titan, AI's only dangerous play.

There, my report is complete.

Group D
Shantak vs Aswan jaguar 5-0
notes | Open
Game1:
Win
Double Lightning bolt finished off what the AI's Bitter blossoms started.

Game2:
Win
The hand disruption overwhelmed the AI and Specter finished it off.
Game3:
Win
The AI could not keep up with the pace of Shantak's deck, too much disruption and speed.
Game4:
Win
Striped the entire AI hand by turn 4, 2 Mongrels finished the job.
Game5:
Win
See previous 4 games.
------------------------

Aswan jaguar vs Shantak 2-3
notes | Open
Game1:
Loss
Barrage of burn, 2 lightning bolt killing 2 Nacatal, 2 blightnigs, a doom blade and was finished by a Blazing specter.
Game2:
Loss
Got the AI down to 5, this deck just does not have enough life to stablilize against Shantak's deck.
Game3:
Loss
Did not draw a way to deal with 2 Blazing specters.
Game4:
Win
First round that i did not run headlong into a wall of burn, Bitter blossom and Watchwolf push through the win.
Game5:
Win
Hand full of 1-2 cost creatures, played most of my hand by turn 2-3, this is the one game where I was able to out-pace the AI.
------------------------

Group E
240sxforever vs Stroggoii 5-0
notes | Open
Game1:
Win
Watchwolf attacked for 4 on the third turn, and several thereafter. Drew 2 O-rings, and 3 path to exile. Easy match.
Game2:
Win
Solid agro game, backed by 2 path to exile.
Game3:
Win
2 hierarchs, backed with path to exile and o-ring make this a quick game, also I have started recording matches with Cam studio as of this match. I can upload them on request.
Game4:
Win
AI could not keep pace, straight forward game.
Game5:
Win
3 Emeria angels raced Bitter blossom and won. AI was at -25 after the last attack.
------------------------

Stroggoii vs 240sxforever 5-0
notes | Open
Game1:
Win
Played a more conservative tactical game, Avatar token acted like a free Edict every turn.
Game2:
Win
Milked Bitter blossom and Ajani into a win against 2 soul wardens and several large creatures.
Game3:
Win
Ajani and Bitter blossom, yet again.
Game4:
Win
Win but only on the back of Worship + Bitter blossom + soul warden. If the AI had used its removal on soul warden I would have died horribly.
Game5:
Win
AI played a couple of creatures, but never really got a game together.
------------------------

Group F
Juzamjedi vs Cognis 5-0
notes | Open
Game1:
Win
4/4 Vampire nighthawk and 2 Bitter Blossoms sealed this one easily.
Game2:
Win
2 grave titans, end of story.
Game3:
Win
Grave titan beat down, did not meet removal.
Game4:
Win
Ajani and Bitter blossom win games...
Game5:
Win
Had a bit of trouble with opposing tokens, but a Titan carrying a machete acted as a one sided wrath of god.

------------------------

Cognis vs Juzamjedi 3-2
notes | Open
Game1:
Win
I had to work my butt off for this win, not because the deck can't win, but you have to keep the game from crashing long enough to win.
*Game locked up twice due to zombie tokens had to play again.

Game2:
Loss
AI vindicated worship after flooding the field with zombies and faeries.

Game3:
Win
I managed to o-ring the grave titan and keep beating until the win. though this makes 3 games crashed because of AI tokens.
*Game crash

Game4:
Loss
Beat down by Vampire nighthawk, though as a moral victory I managed to o-ring 2 grave titans.
*2 Game crashes

Game5:
Win
Managed to keep token count down with a 4/4 soldier and a 9/9 Sun titan.

This round should have a different score. At least 2 of the crashes would probably have been losses, but I started the match over from each of the 5 crashes.

Best of 5 means that as soon as somebody got 3 wins the thing is over. The 5 is only in there because it is the maximum possible number of games (2-2 and the 5th game would decide then // otherwise as soon as somebody hits 3 wins/losses it is over).
Very nice job for reporting all games in less than a day though.

Aswan jaguar vs Shantak 2-3
Since the first 3 games are losses this should be 0-3.
So Shantak would gain 5 points in this case.
also I have started recording matches with Cam studio as of this match. I can upload them on request
We can flood Youtube together xD

I might do that too. I made a youtube account and was going to upload my challenge mode demos, but I recorded them as 10-game matches, taking roughly an hour, and youtube said it only takes files up to 15 minutes in length. That's fine for single games, but might be a bit close for a set of 3 games, and won't be enough for 5. Uploading.com doesn't stream video, but it works well for just storing stuff. As far as I know, it has no expiry date or # of downloads limit or registration; the only limitation I know of is no file can be larger than 1GB, but even a video of an entire challenge is nowhere near that much.

I recorded some videos with camstudio, but it shows the tool bar on top.I have just to set to full screen and then record or it needs some other adjustment besides that?

I loved to watch your tournament games in video Salbei ,I am thinking of posting mine, too. And it takes no time in writing reports!
It is interesting to watch others play style, strategy, combos, even mistakes.

Re: Feb Tournament (Limited Shop) Results

I post them as single games. The audio de-synch (caused by my resolution as i have found out ... 1680x1050 seem to be too much for capturing purposes ... even though the game just uses a lower resolution) just gets worse after each minute.I recently got director status (changed that like 2 years ago) and am able to upload 15min+ vids there. But it is just better to just upload the single games there. Most of the time people would just want to check why they lost that single game anyway and would just skip the won games.

Figured that this way i could keep the dataloss to a minimum (defect files etc would just affect a single game). It is also easier to upload small files like that. Most of those games won´t ever get views on youtube, but i really don´t care.

It is the easiest way to just upload it there so people don´t have to download the videos. And maybe this way we might get a few more people aware of Manalink2.0 - as long as its not WOTC :)

If your videos are too long try " Virtual Dub " to cut them down a bit (or split the games).

Aswan jaguar wrote:I loved to watch your tournament games in video Salbei ,I am thinking of posting mine, too. And it takes no time in writing reports!

Yeah those vids are kinda handy. But this way i play a lot more "hasty" and make more mistakes due to that. You never know how long a game might take and i try to avoid having to cut the videos or split them apart.
Most of the time it doesn´t matter, but sometimes i play the wrong lands or don´t attack because i pressed the spacebar too fast.
I also misplay or stop playing at all when i know that i have won.
It is a bit easier when you pause after each turn (to write the report), this way you automatically think about the current situation and do a lot less misplays.Recording has got quite an impact on my playstyle.
Needless to say that since i know how the AI is playing things i do a LOT of timing errors (playing stuff too early etc.) that i wouldn´t do in a real game.

Aswan jaguar wrote:I recorded some videos with camstudio, but it shows the tool bar on top.I have just to set to full screen and then record or it needs some other adjustment besides that?
Set it to full screen, then adjust the codec (i am using Xvid -> 720p HD).I can recommend "K-Lite_Codec_Pack_690" (just google it, this will enable a few additional codecs). Then test a few things and check for problems, google is your friend there again.
Especially getting the sound to work took a while.
Oh and lower the framerate (i´m using 30/fps).Standard setting was something ridiculous like 200fps or something (to capture).

Better if we talk about this in a different topic since this one is just for the results.

Group D
Shantak (3-2)
Loss 1: I had AI to 0 cards, but then it topdecked double BB, followed by Soul Warden. I drew lands and discard spells.
Loss 2: I mulliganed into 1 land, and missed a couple turns. It looked like I might come back, but the AI had Might of Oaks for exactsies.

Aswan Jaguar (3-2)
Loss 1: Turn 1 Soul warden, turn 2 BB. Turn 3 Sould Warden + BB. Nice start, right? Then the wardens got killed and BB murdered me.
Loss 2: Turn 1 Soul warden, turn 2 BB. warden dies, and Specter keeps me from attacking.

Group E
240sxforever (3-0)
Stroggoii (1-3)
1-3
Loss 1: Ai had creatures and 4 Anthems. I had mostly land.
Loss 2: My creatures were too small to keep up.
Loss 3: AI actually killed Worship with Oblivion Ring and I died.

Group F
Juzamjedi (3-0)
Cognis (2-3)
Loss 1: Kept 4 Plains, Soul Warden, Raise the Alarm, and Honor of the Pure. Drew 6 Plains and got run over by Titan.
Loss 2: I had 3 raise and 3 Honor, but the AI ground me out with Nekrataals into Titans.
Loss 3: I had double Worship, but couldn't keep a single creature in play.

In all 3 games AI kicked my ass, it had the best draws while I had to mulligan Game 1 to 5 cards still only 1land.Lots of removals and discard spells+Blazing specter and in the end Hellfire Mongrel came for the kill.
GAME 2 As above
Game 3 to 6 cards.As above.
Comments: Shantak's deck is way better than mine it is well balanced right ratio of removals-discards-creatures and I believe it will be the winner.

Stroggoii vs 240sxforever 3-2 | Open
GAME 1 Long game I got overpowered and finally lost to my Bitterblossom.
GAME 2 AI casts 3 Path to Exile at the same turn and I don't recover from it.
GAME 3 Just made it with 2 early Bitterblossom and a Soul Warden attacking and blocking 3 6/6 Loxodon Hierarch.
GAME 4 Ajani Goldmane pumped my fairies and air force won the day.
GAME 5 Soul Warden come just in time to save me from my 2 Bitterblossom which were killing me and when Ajani Goldmane hit the deck victory was in my hand.

Comments It was a surprise to me how this match up was turned over from 0-2 to 3-2, and victory changed hands.

GAME 1 I Oblivion Ring Bitterblossom and Grave Titan but I drew only 1 creature (starting hand) Soul Warden all game.
GAME 2 Opening hand with Soul Warden,Raise the Alarm,Arkasan Squire,Honor of the Pure,Oblivion Ring ,2plains was great and finished this quickly.
GAME 3 Bitterblossom and 2 Nekrataal one of them killed my Sun Titan and got overpowered.
GAME 4 I won only thanks to Worship and the fact that AI will keep on attacking with all it has for the kill for eternity being vulnerable to counterattacks. His fliers made me more than 200 damage!!The game was going to end in my favor as AI had less cards in library but finally 35t and after I have played 4 Sun Titans I think!and pumped them with Ajani Goldmane to 12/12 as Aww1979 mentioned I think ,Elixir makes crazy things and I end up having 4-5 Sun Titans in the graveyard 2 in play 2-3 out of play, and 3-4 to my Library!!!4 Raise the alarm in library played 1-2.
GAME 5I have a great start with Soul Warden,Raise the Alarm,Arkasan
Squire,Honor of the Pure and I draw a 2 Honor of the Pure, get AI to3life he stabilizes there thanks to 2 Nekrataal killing(Soul Warden and Arkasan Squire)and later my Sun titan a 3d Nekrataal 2 trusted Machete, and 2 zombies help him get me to 3 I cast Oblivion Ring to Grave Titan.2 Crystal Ball help me get a couple of creatures and make the final blow.

Round 2
(Best of 5)

Group D

Shantak vs Aswan jaguar 3-1
notes | Open
Game1 - 1-0: Make AI discard, bolt a Watchwolf, beat with Mongrel and Specter.
Game2 - 2-0: Attack with Specter past AI creatures and damage with Mongrel. Only this was slower due to AI's Soul Wardens. One Bolt to kill Emeria Angel might have been important.
Game3 - 2-1: AI has plenty of creatures but little land. I had to keep creatures blocking and trust Mongrel damage. I think I lost victory on my last turn by casting Blightning before attacking. This made AI react by Blinding Mage tapping my Spectre which could have attacked first. The next turn AI alpha striked while in 2 life and brought me from 7 to 0.
Game4 - 3-1:- Hymn, Blightning, Blightning, Blazing Specter. AI couldn't do much.
Game5:-

With enough tempo and even decent cards, it becomes pretty easy to win AI. In the game I lost, AI got enough good creatures and always managed to attack thanks to Blinding Mage. That's probably the most important target to remove when playing against Aswan jaguar.

Game1: - 1-0 I got Bitterblossom but AI Hymned (twice) the rest of my hand away. My faerie army grew, got boost from Glorious Anthem and attacked constantly. I was in 3 life the turn I won, so one Lightning Bolt from AI would have changed it all.
Game2: - 2-0 Soul Warden with Bitterblossom and Emeria Angel was pretty nice. AI seemed to lack removal.
Game3: - 3-0 Two Glorious Anthems made my creatures really beefy. Again AI didn't remove more than one of my creatures (I peeked at its hand when I was winning and it was full of discard).

Game1 - 0-1: Two mulligans to get land. First turns go casting creature boosters. In the end, I do some damage with 8/8 Loxodon Hierarch, but AI has Ajani-boosted fliers that beat me harder.
Game2 - 0-2: My few creatures are destroyed quickly with removals and then I draw just booster enchantments. Ajani-boosted Bitterblossom tokens kill me.
Game3 - 0-3: I must have amazingly bad luck since I draw nothing but enchantments and land for the whole game! My Loxodon Hierarch finally enters the game as 8/8 and gets instantly Pathed. I guess I should have mulliganed, but with good land, removal and boost spells, I thought I could make it this time.
Game4:-
Game5:-

I had amazingly bad luck, as I didn't draw a single Emeria Angel and probably one Watchwolf for those three whole games. AI had too many threats for my removal. Sorry for losing like this, but I couldn't do anything.

Game1 - 1-0: Soul Warden, Bitterblossom, Ajani. I win before Ajani dries out.
Game2 - 2-0: Two Bitterblossoms supported by two Elixirs. I remove AI's threats and Soul Warden softens my lifeloss.
Game3 - 3-0: Slower start but again Bitterblossom and Ajani
Game4:-
Game5:-

All games were very easy - Ajani is so much better as a creature booster than Honor of the Pure and Glorious Anthem seem to be in this game. Too often AI would topdeck Honor or Anthem for no good.

Game1 - 1-0: Ajani boosted my black fliers past AI's soldiers for huge damage.
Game2 - 2-0: Grave Titan entered play when AI had already spent two Oblivion Rings, so the end was very fast and painful (for AI)
Game3 - 3-0: This time Bitterblossom was enough. AI's hand seemed too expensive, as after first three cheap spells the next spell he cast was Sun Titan the turn before he died.
Game4:-
Game5:-

I again say that Juzamjedi has the strongest deck, I think. Bitterblossoms are supported by good amount of life, Elixirs and Vampire Nighthawks. Grave Titans rule the late game and there's enough removal. Solemn Simulacrums help get there. I'm very interested to see if my discard deck can beat this one.

Cognis vs Juzamjedi 2-3
notes | Open
Game1 - 1-0: I had an okay start but AI got to cast Grave Titan. I got 10/9 Sun Titan but while it kept AI from attacking from the ground, I couldn't attack and faerie tokens started racing. Then my Titan got Pathed and I died (went from 12 to -22).
Game2 - 1-1: I was topdecking land while I needed something better. Then AI got Grave Titan and overran my soldiers (after Vindicating Honor of the Pure). I would have died if not for Worship. Then I sneak in few points of damage after each AI's alpha strike and wait that he dies to Bitterblossom. Thank you, Worship (fun fact: first time for me in this tournament that Worship was needed).
Game3 - 1-2: I draw only land for the first four turns. AI does damage and Vindicates my Sun Titan when I get it. No chance.
Game4 - 2-2: Great start with two Raise the Alarm, two Honor of the Pure and Akrasan Squire. As AI only gets to 5 lands, they're enough.
Game5 - 2-3: I remove one Grave Titan but the other gets through and AI kills me with a zombie army.

Without an extra good opening hand there was no way I could reach AI once he began casting Grave Titans.

Pretty extreme points in those last two groups. Though the other results I've looked don't say the same, for me it seemed like the other deck in groups E and F was clearly superior.

Group D

Shantak vs Aswan jaguar win 3-1
notes | Open
Game1 - AI uses Soul Warden to gain a few life points, but I have massive hand hate and beat down with Blazing Specter.
Game2 - My opening hand is fine with Duress, Blightning, Hellfire Mongrel. However, this game the AI curves out pretty well. Soul Warden, Watchwolf, Glorious Anthem x2.
Game3 - This game AI has no T1 Soul Warden. I have a couple discard spells + Hellfire Mongrel and Blazing Specter to put it away pretty easily.
Game4 - This is my first mulligan game. I play Hymn, Rats, and eventually draw the lands to play 2x Blazing Specters I've drawn. AI didn't have green in this matchup (due to my Hymn) and I put it away.
Game5 -

Aswan jaguar vs Shantak win 3-1
notes | Open
Game1 - Early Hymn + Blightning hurts. I stall on lands a couple of turns, but I get to play Glorious Anthem with Emeria Angel. AI doesn't answer them so I win.
Game2 - I mulligan and play T1 Nacatl, T2 Bitterblossom. AI hits me with discard a couple times. I have Glorious Anthem stuck in my hand, now another one. AI pressures me with Blazing Specter, and then Hellfire Mongrel. I die on my last upkeep with the life total 0-3 and me with enough power to push through damage. :-/
Game3 - I have a fast start with Soul Warden, Blinding Mage Bitterblossom and AI Hymn's me. I'm hellbent when AI plays Hellfire Mongrel, but I rip Diabolic Edict like a champ. Soul Warden + Bitterblossom makes it easy after that.
Game4 - AI kills my Soul Warden and then Hymn's me. What a D-bag. However, AI has no creatures and I do a slow beatdown with 2x River Boa's for 20.
Game5 -

Shantak's deck sometimes doesn't have enough pressure to seal the deal. Aswan Jaguar's deck kept missing land drops (with some help from Hymn) so there were some good battles here.

Group E

240sxforever vs Stroggoii win 3-0
notes | Open
Game1 - My opening hand is sick. I miss my turn 3 land drop, but still crush the AI with 2x Watchwolf and eventually 2x Glorious Anthem.
Game2 - I keep another 2 land hand and miss my turn 3 land drop. Doesn't mattter much since I have 3x Oblivion Ring + Path to Exile to keep me alive. AI makes it really scary when he plays Ajani twice to pump his small team. I stabilize with blockers, play Emeria Angel and then 2 more of them and win with bird tokens.
Game3 - T1 Soul Warden (AI Path's it, thanks!), T2 Glorious Anthem, T3 Loxodon Heirarch, T4 Emeria Angel + Terramorphic, T5 Glorious Anthem number 2. Thanks for playing.
Game4 -
Game5 -

Stroggoii vs 240sxforever win 3-1
| Open
Game1 - T1 Elixir, T2 Bitterblossom, T3 Path the only creature for AI, T4 Ajani Goldmane. AI pressures me with a single Loxodon Hierarch so I keep +'ing Ajani and blocking with Faerie tokens. Eventually Ajani makes a Serra Avatar for me. Serra Avatar attacks as a 20/20 and AI triple blocks it. I use Path to Exile to 3-for-1 everything except his Soul Warden that did not block. Easy after that.
Game2 - I keep a greedy 1 land hand with 2x Elixir of Immortality, Soul Warden, Bitterblossom, Worship, and Bloodghast. AI Path's my Soul Warden so I immediately get out of my hole, but AI pressures me with several Glorious Anthem's and I never draw any creature kill. I die to my own Bitterblossom.
Game3 - T1 Soul Warden, T2 Bitterblossom, T3 Soul Warden + Bloodghast, T4 missed land drop, but T5 Ajani Goldmane. GG
Game4 - This is a really long game, but I stabilize with Bitterblossom + Ajani again (this time going for pump mode) after a long stalemate. I actually think human opponent would have been in a stalemate position as well.
Game5 -

At one point during this match I misread Ajani's second ability as "Pimp your dudes", heh. Every game win (or loss) depended on who got the most pump effects.

Group F

Juzamjedi vs Cognis win 3-0
| Open
Game1 - The first creature played is Solemn Simulacrum. AI plays Ajani and I could Vinidicate it, but I decide to play Nighthawk instead. AI plays Worship so I kill Ajani and play my own. I have a ton of removal left and Ajani + Bitterblossom wins easily.
Game2 - This time I have Bitterblossom, Vampire Nighthawk (gets killed), Vampire Nighthawk with 2x Trusty Machete. I never draw a plains and still win pretty easily.
Game3 - I play 2x Nighthawks early to killl AI's Ajani. I then play my own Ajani and pump my Nighthawks. I have lots of removal and win easily from there.
Game4 -
Game5 -

Cognis vs Juzamjedi lose 2-3
| Open
Game1 - I mulligan and get raise the alarm + 2x Honor of the pure. AI path's me twice so I use Ajani to + up to an Avatar. I kill a creature every turn with Avatar and eventually connect at 41 life.
Game2 - Long game with Worship and it crashes. I replay it.
Game2b- Another long game with Worship and it crashes. Replay again.
Game2c- T2 Raise the alarm, T3 Raise the alarm, T4 2x Honor of the Pure. AI played double Nighthawk, but it was not enough to stop me.
Game3 - I mulligan and keep a weak hand with 2x Akrasan Squire and lands. AI holds me off, plays turn 5 Grave Titan and man handles me.
Game4 - T1 Machete, T2 Raise the Alarm, T3 Soul Warden + equip Machete, T4 Akrasan Squire equip another creature after AI killed a token. AI stabilizes against me, plays Grave Titan and pretty easily beats me after this.
Game5 - I mulligan a slow hand. T2 Raise the Alarm, T3 Honor of the Pure (AI Path's a token), T4 Ajani Goldmane. AI has a Nighthawk with a Machete and Path's my last token. AI then plays his own Ajani. Nighthawk gets pumped a couple of times and I lose.

In this matchup Cognis needs to be the beatdown, but it's pretty hard to do against so much removal. Worship was annoying; it caused long games that eventually crashed due to the number of creatures on the board. I think a human opponent would have won 1 if not both of the crashed games; the AI Vindicate'd a creature instead of Worship in 1 of them. Vampire Nighthawk turned around a couple of games against Cognis' aggressive starts.

Group D
Shantak vs Aswan Jaguar 3-0 WIN
Game 1: AI tried to race me with a nacatl, handless and mana-screwed it lost.
Game 2: Baited AI's removal with a rat, played the mongrel followed by blightning and endured as AI died.
Game 3: Played my bolts and blightnings after AI played Bitterblossom, AI just couldn't damage me fast enough.

Aswan Jaguar vs Shantak 3-1 WIN
Game 1: AI played rats and made no other play in the entire game.
Game 2: AI blight and bolted me to death.
Game 3: AI lost because it used it's mongrels to block my wolf and nacatl while at 20, with me at 2 and handless. The warden + bitterblossom combo gave me an army and I won.
Game 4: Managed to play Emeria angel and make a suntail army out of a topdeck mode mana-flood.

GROUP E
240sxforever vs Stroggoii 3-2 WIN
Game 1: Didn't get a creature till turn 7, and by the time I did it was already 21-3 thanks to an early enemy Warden.
Game 2: Almost the same game as before but this time my 6/6 Emeria angel scared the AI out of attacking and my pumped suntails killed it.
Game 3: Pathing AI's warden was counter-productive as it managed to get Ajani in thanks to the land and pumped three faeries, then next turn played ghast, pumped again, pathed my wolf and ran over me.
Game 4: I opted to use my removal on the wardens as AI played 2 bitterblossoms and I had Emeria angel pumping birds to block, would have gotten run thru before AI's blossoms killed it if not for a couple lat game wolves.
Game 5: Loxodon Hierarch got me back the reins after a long, creature-less game on my side, AI pathed the two angels I played and I got mana and enchantment flood, had not top-drawn the Loxodon I would have lost to a single pesky Hexmage that AI had played after I wasted my removal in wardes, ajani and bitterblossoms.

Stroggoii vs 240sxforever 3-0 WIN
Game 1: I have the impression AI doesn't know what Worship does, with it and a couple hexmages, a warden and a ghast I just kept letting AI play till it ran out of cards, it doesn't even try to ring the Worship or kill the creatures to de-activate it.
Game 2: Got a couple hexmages and bloodghasts, plus ajani and bitterblossom, kept protecting ajani from angel attacks while pumping my creatures till they were big enough to persuade the AI from attacking, from there on I just kept growing them untill they were strong and many enough to get past the AI's angels and suntails.
Game 3: Again, stalled with worship and a hexmage until I got Ajani to pump my creatures (got bitterblossom and a warden) big enough to overcome the AI's huge creatures. This game took over 45 mins of pump-go, heal-go.
The AI NEEDS to be made to O-ring Worship.

GROUP F
Juzamjedi vs Cognis 3-0 WIN
Game 1: Pretty straight forward, play what you get, keep a path for the titan. I got two grave titans back to back giving me an army to stomp with.
Game 2: While facing two nighthawks, one with two machetes and four ajani counters and one with no counters and no equipment, the AI will always O-ring the weaker one... Won thru pumped nighthawk.
Game 3: AI played almost notthing (two squires and a warden) for about 8 turns, while I played two bitterblossoms turn 2 and 3, next to elixir twice, managed to scare AI out of attacking with the faerie army and eventually flew over for the win.

Cognis vs Juzamjedi 3-1 WIN
Game 1: After a promising starting hand of 3 plains, two wardens, a HoTP and a titan, I drew notthing but lands and died to the grave titan's army of machete weilding zombies and faeries.
Game 2: AI played notthing but a machete and a very late Nekrataal.
Game 3: Perfect game: Squire-HoTP-Ring-Ajani-HoTP-Path-Path-Win :)
Game 4: AI kept a lineback of simulacrums that lasted until Ajani made my alarm soldiers too big for them, by the time the grave titan came into play, my alarm soldiers were too big for him.
