Unable to connect. Server is likely offline.

Hi,
Sorry for my lack of knowledge about computers. Whenever I try to log into the localhost server I get the message
Unable to connect. Server is likely offline.
This also happens when I try to access the public servers. Does anyone know what the problem is and how I might correct it?
Thanks so much.

Currently the public server is online and it's no problem to connect.Pathdermophtho wrote:Hi,

So the problem seems to be on your side.
1) Did you start the local server before you tried to connect to localhost?
This should work beside all firewall problems.
2) Firewall on your system / network could be the problem if you can't connect to the public server.

Lol I'm so dumb. Yes, starting the server before I tried to connect was the issue. I guess this is different than older versions of MAGE? Lol sorry.
Thanks for the help.
Thanks for the help.
