Desktop Clutter
by micktheemick » 17 Apr 2017, 14:20
After the recent update, I now have extra files located on my desktop.
How do I move these without causing XMage to think it is my first time playing?
installed.properties , xmage_launcher.log , and a java folder
Thank you!

Might sound silly, but the best way to avoid this is to not install XMage on your desktop (or anywhere inside your user profile such as Downloads or Documents - anywhere inside C:\Users\YourName is bad generally). Instead create a new folder at the root of your drive like c:\xmage for it (I have mine installed in c:\games\xmage - same idea). Then just create a shortcut to the launcher to put on your desktop.
