This is a weird bug.. not sure its a super high priority since it's against the AI opponent.. but I'm seeing where the computer just refuses to play cards at times. There will be games they will go without playing a single land despite holding playable cards and all they will do is discard. Now, this doesnt happen all the time, but once it starts happening, it will continue until I shut the game down a few times.. and even that doesn't always fix it.

When this first started, I ran a deck with some thoughtsiezes in it just to see if they weren't taking a mulligan after getting mana screwed.. but this appears to not be the case. Any thoughts on what may be happening?

edit - I should add that I've seen this with preconstructed decks, randomly generated decks, and when running a draft "tournament" with the AI

I am using the newest build on V7

Edit 1/7 - So it appears to be a timeout error when the computer is calculating its moves. It will time out then just skip it's moves forever.

Every time I try to save my decklist Xmage only saves 49 of the mainboard cards.

LevelX: FIXED (caused by recently added sets with code with length 2 or 4)

There is bug that prevents cards with set abbreviations that are 2 or 4 characters from loading properly. The cards are actually saved in your deck files, so I believe they will show up when the bug is fixed with the next update. Impacted sets are Friday Night Magic (FNMP), Judge Promo (JR), Game Day (MGDC), and World Magic Cup Qualifier (WMCQ).

Extirpate still does not work correctly. It's supposed to exile a card and let me search hand, graveyard, library, but it doesn't let me see my opponent's hand at all.
Also, Infernal Tutor works improperly. You reveal a card, then search for a card with the same name (except when hellbent), and put it in hand. But once you reveal the card, it opens your library window with a prompt that says "Choose a card named 'cardname'.", and it has every single card able to be chosen. A.K.A. Xmage is making Infernal Tutor a Demonic Tutor.

The primordials do not seem to work correctly.

I played the red and black primordials in the same game, getting them from my graveyard using Feldon of the Third Path's activated ability.

Their triggers went on the stack but had no effect when they resolved.

First of all, great programm and thanks for all your hard work on it!

I noticed a small bug with Wall of Roots. If I click it to add green mana and a -0/-1 counter to it and then click "undo" the counter gets taken off again and the green mana is removed from my mana pool again. That is correct so far, however I now cannot do this again for the rest of the turn. It seems the "undo" did not reset the "Activate this ability only once each turn" clause.

I noticed a couple of issues with Flashback yesterday. On one, I flashbacked Unburial Rites, paying for it, but accidentally clicked cancel when it said to target a creature card in my graveyard. Unburial Rites remained in my graveyard, but it used the mana I had used to pay for it.

Additionally, during Jeff Hoogland's twitch stream using xmage last night, he cast Snapcaster Mage to give flashback to a Lightning Bolt. When he cast the Bolt, he clicked the creature to target when it was asking for the mana payment, then clicked a Mountain to pay for the spell. It then asked for him to target a creature, but he didn't realize it and clicked F9. The F9 advanced to his opponent's turn without doing anything with the Lightning Bolt (it remained in his graveyard). Instead of going to the next turn, it needs to wait for the target to be selected. The sequence can be seen at:

Edit: Saw this happen again last night when my opponent tried to flashback Unburial Rites. He wanted to tap differently, so clicked cancel when it said to target the creature card. Unburial Rites stayed in the graveyard, but it used his mana.

The newest version of Xmage is not letting me load decks into queues because of certain cards. It gives an error, tells me the card it's having problems with, then says it could be because I use a printing only supported by a newer version of Xmage. But for some of the cards mentioned, I'm using the only available printing. No sense is made.

Any sounds generated during the game (and I think elsewhere in the UI) throw NPE. Running Ubuntu Linux 14.04. If I unselect sounds in Preferences, the problem goes away.

Is this a known issue or should I log a bug report?

I am getting this same issue. Tried to close and rebuild the deck from skratch to no avail.

Here is the exact error message (note the card name changes):

Server error: Card not found - Temple of Abandon - THS for deck - RG Monsters
Possible reason is, that you use cards in your deck, that are only supported in newer versions of the server. So it can help to use the same card from another set, that's already supported from this server.

This is a standard deck - many of the cards do not have other versions.

Yesterday I tried to join a Commander game and it said I had 0 cards in the deck, so maybe related to the other deck problems. A restart of the client fixed for me though.

I've been getting this error too, except with cards in Modern. It is happening on public server one buy not public server 2

Leonin Arbiter prevents libraries from being searched. My opponent cast Path to Exile on one of my creatures. Although I couldn't pay the 2 mana to ignore Leonin Arbiter's effect, when Path asked if I wanted to search, I clicked yes. It said I couldn't search my library in a pop-up window, but in the game info section, it said I searched and shuffled my library. I'm not sure if my library was actually shuffled or not, but it should not be.

Edit: I was wrong about not shuffling per Leonin Arbiter's rulings:
1/1/2011 If an effect says "You may search your library . . . If you do, shuffle your library," and you haven't paid {2}, you can't choose to search, so you won't shuffle.
1/1/2011 If an effect says "Search your library . . . Then shuffle your library," and you haven't paid {2}, the search effect fails, but you will still have to shuffle.

Path to Exile is a "then shuffle".

I guess this error was shown:
Server error: Card not found - [CARD NAME] - [SETCODE] for deck - [DECK NAME]
This is most probably a db resource problem that seems to happen if some server resources getting short or overloaded.
Looks like the h2 DB requests are no longer handled correctly causing this problem.
Normally after a XMage server restart the problem is gone.
As a workaround the XMage.info server 1 will now be restarted twice a day (07:00 + 19:00 CET) to reduce/minimize this kind of problems until the true causing reason is found and fixed.
