MAGE 1.0.3 DEV 20130520 was released
by LevelX » 20 May 2013, 18:09
The new beta version of MAGE (1.0.3 dev 20130520) was released on 20th of May 2013.
The download can be found here.
The release includes the Dragon's Maze cards (1 is missing) and all the fixes done until today.
The list of latest changes here.
The changes in this version compared to 1.0.2 are described here
In the future I will release the beta (dev + [DATE]) versions on a regular base, if there are any useful fixes or improvements added to the MAGE repository.
I also always setup a corresponding sever running on the public sever 2 for the newest dev version. You can get IP and port for the dev server with the find dialog when connecting to a server with MAGE.

In the .bat files for Win7 I had to change ./lib/mage-server-${project.version}.jar and ./lib/mage-client-${project.version}.jar to ./lib/mage-server-1.0.3.jar and ./lib/mage-client-1.0.3.jar in order to launch on my machine.
I didn't had to do it on the 1.0.2 environment.

This was not intended. Thanks for pointing out this problem.gophren wrote:In the .bat files for Win7 I had to change ./lib/mage-server-${project.version}.jar and ./lib/mage-client-${project.version}.jar to ./lib/mage-server-1.0.3.jar and ./lib/mage-client-1.0.3.jar in order to launch on my machine.

I updated the Version 1.0.3 dev 20130520 download zip file to include the corrected .bat files.
I also added here a zip file with the four corrected windows .bat files if someone wants to replace it manually.

Allowing the public to access dev builds and have a server just for those is a great idea. So people who does not mind the game being a bit more unstable can play with the newest bug fixes and additions to the game
All I need now are players to play against, haha
