Bug Reports 1.0.3 dev 20130628

If you have encountered any problems while using MAGE 1.0.3 dev 20130628, you can post them here.
Please mention who you were playing against: Human or the AI type.
Please describe how you got to that point. A screenshot of the battlefield at the moment something went wrong will be useful too. Otherwise, naming the cards that interacted will suffice.
If you get an error log please add that too.
Thank you for your help in detecting bugs.

I just found this the other day, after I was disappointed by the DotP "limited". I'm able to start a server if I disconnect my router but with my router
I get:
fatal [date time] failed to start server [ip:port] serializationtype=jboss
rsocket[ip:port]: cannot assign requested address: jvm_bind
at org.jboss.remoting.transport.socket.socketserverinvoker.createserversockets<socketserverinvoker.java:***>
":***
"bisocket.bisocketserverinvoker.start<bisocketserverinvoker>.java:***
"connector.start<connector.java:***>
"transporter.transporterserver.start<transporterserver.java:***>
at mage.server.main.main<main.java:***>
Want to support by reporting bugs, if anyone has a fix for this I would appreciate (happened last version too). Win7 64bit but as I said perfectly fine if I don't have a router (ports forwarded for what little that doesn't effect).

I started a draft event against 7 AIs with 3 Return to Ravnica boosters and got offered an Advent of the Wurm (Dragon's Maze rare) as part of one of the boosters.
Small problem there.

When trying to use the kicker of Mold Shambler an error message pops up and you get to cast it with the kicker without paying its mana cost. The kicker effect works just fine, its just that the creature becomes free when you use it.

I didn't find a solution yet to connect to a MAGE server behind a router. Seems to be some specific java JBoss problem (JBoss is used by mage to connect the server with the clients.InTriX wrote:I just found this the other day, after I was disappointed by the DotP "limited". I guess you know you can use the public server to play with others.
Also using your local server in your local network shouldn't be a problem.
I guess we need a netwok specialist who knows JBoss to get this problem solved.

The kicker ability had a bug I fixed now. SO all kicker cards are affected. I guess I will release tomorrow or on sunday a fixed version with all fixes since than.Slimmo wrote:When trying to use the kicker of Mold Shambler an error message pops up and you get to cast it with the kicker without paying its mana cost. Adding swamps to a sealed deck still has a chance to add Sulfurous Springs. Just add a bunch until you see them.

New version I can't actually host a server even when not behind a router. If I run the server behind a router I get a black box cmd window that eventually comes up with the errors, if I run it without the router I just get a blank command prompt that doesn't do anything or go away.
Not sure what is different from previous version w7,64bit.

The log level is set to warn instead info in the new version, that's the reason you don't see messages until problem happens.InTriX wrote:New version I can't actually host a server even when not behind a router. You can change the log level in the server/conf/log4j.properties from "warn" to "info".
