Forge has added multiplayer. It is still being tested. I believe Cockatrice is not listed because it is not a true "engine" - in that it does not have rules or mechanics enforcement.Dynamo345 wrote:kudos for engines
is forge truly multiplayer because it looks like its just being able to fight the computer to me.
and 2 wheres cockatrice? that's a magic engine program named after the card cockatrice
In MTG terms, "multiplayer" actually refers to being able to play against more than one opponent at the same time, which Forge supports (up to 8 players, thus you can have up to 7 AI opponents, either in FFA or with teams - there are some caveats but the mode is definitely playable). I believe you're confusing it with "online play", which is indeed not fully finished in Forge yet and is generally in an alpha, incomplete state at the moment (and the only developer who was actively developing it in the past has been away for quite a long time).Dynamo345 wrote:is forge truly multiplayer because it looks like its just being able to fight the computer to me.
