The problem isn't caused by Dark Depths itself. Probably there is a problem with some restriction effect that is or was used during the game.
It would be very helpful to have the gamelog from your game to be able to reconstruct the bug.
By default the log is saved to your mage-client/gamelogs/ folder.
Please post it here, if you find it in this folder.
