Thoughtseize worked during my test. In such cases it's often a help to copy and paste the game log and a screenshot here, so I can see if effects from other cards are involved or the combination of cards in target players hand cause the problem.Serenity wrote:My opponent played Thoughtseize but couldn't see my hand and therefore he couldn't choose a card from my hand. Interestingly my time was running after a few moments but i couldn't do anything because there was no option to do anything and Thoughtseize was still on the stack (means you could see the card in this box on the lower right corner.
We were not able to do anything as he couldn't choose a card and we had to quit the game.

I tested Blessings of Nature and on my system it does work correctly.Bog Wraith wrote:Was attempting to cast Blessings of Nature on my two creatures. It was the first card I drew of my turn so it asked me if I wanted to cast it for its Miracle cost which I answered yes to. After selecting the number of +1/+1 counters placed on the two creatures, the game froze and the board state was as shown below:
Seems to me like a communication problem, like the message to your client that demands the mana payment got lost.

As you could see in the previous screenshot, there was no button for me to choose to pay for the Miracle cost. The game just froze an we had to quit.
Now I have a new bug, one that confirms what Serenity wrote. I also cast a Thoughtseize and I could not see my opponents hand but we could read in the log what cards were in her hand. Again, we had to shut down the client as there was no way to proceed with the game.

There was a incompatibility between the client 2014-06-15 and the updated server version. So I created a new release that resolves the problem.
On your sreenshots I can see that you use Parallels to run XMage.
Did you change something on the start scripts to get it to run (like java memory).
I'm not using a Mac, but on german board user trying to run it on mac and don't get it to run.
So something like a short list of steps to do to get it to work would be much appreciated.

Yes I do run your app in Parallels because I could not get it to work on my Mac.
When I try to start it on my Mac, I get a popup window that states "startClient.command" could not be executed because you do not have appropriate access privileges.
I checked the file and I do have all read & write access to the file so I don't know why I get this error. I run other software like Forge for instance on my Mac with no problems.
As for running XMage in Windows within Parallels, I didn't have to do anything extra to get it to work. I have even used the server client to play against the AI with no problems getting it to run, so there are no steps that I can report that gets it to work in Parallels. I wish I could get it to run in OS X, but I'm glad I can run it in Windows.
