Xmage is so great !!!

I want to know if it is possible to run Xmage on a raspberry Pi ??

From Rapberrypi FAQ:

. How powerful is it?

It has 512 MB RAM, and a 700 Mhz, and it is capable of running minecraft*

The GPU provides Open GL ES 2.0, hardware-accelerated OpenVG, and 1080p30 H.264 high-profile encode and decode.

The GPU is capable of 1Gpixel/s, 1.5Gtexel/s or 24 GFLOPs of general purpose compute and features a bunch of texture filtering and DMA infrastructure.

This means that graphics capabilities are roughly equivalent to the original Xbox’s level of performance. Overall real world performance is something like a 300MHz Pentium 2, only with much, much swankier graphics.

10. What Processor are you using?

It is a SoC is a Broadcom BCM2835. This contains an ARM1176JZFS, with floating point, running at 700Mhz; and a Videocore 4 GPU. The GPU is capable of BluRay quality playback, using H.264 at 40MBits/s. It has a fast 3D core accessed using the supplied OpenGL ES2.0 and OpenVG libraries.

Anyone ever tried ?? Please help !! I'm looking for instructions on how to make it run on my Raspberry Pi !!!

Because you seem to have such a machine you have to test it. :-)
Install JRE and XMage and start it.

You only wann run the XMage client and connect to public server?

I'd be very surprised if Xmage ran on the RPI.

It is a very slow crappy computer not design to do anything more than educational demos.
