Java Problem - JRE 7 update 67, Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi all--

Sorry if this has been addressed before; I'm a fairly new user to the client. Recently, the client has been crashing anywhere from 1-5 min of use, regardless of whether or not I open just the client or a server as well. I'm on the newest version of Java, with all previous versions uninstalled. Attempts to launch the client as an administrator have been unsuccessful.

The dialogue that opens upon crashing reads "Java (TM) Platform SE Binary has stopped working."

I realize that this is mostly an issue with Java and not the client itself, but if anyone knows of a fix or has any recommendations, they would be greatly appreciated.

I guess you are using also the Java 64-bit version.

As a workaround you can use the Java 32-bit version to start and execute XMage.

The issue seems to have stopped in the most recent update.

So you still use the Java 64-bit version?
Which version do you use now that works?

New to XMage but was not able to play yet...
I'm on Win7x64 and Java 7 update 67. No other Java version installed. XMage first starts with an exception and a message about an empty string, then after connect I get an endless float of nullpointer exceptions, I can only kill javaw.exe then.

I think that were specific problems on the server side. They should be gone now.
But other problems still exist on the server, to be honest.
It will need still a lot of work to run stable with a lot of users.
