Well I'm trying to post my issue but the forum software keeps telling me to remove spammy URLs which is funny because there's no URLs in what I am posting. hopefully you can figure out what my issue is from the screen shot because it gets pissy if I try to be more descriptive.

I should mention I tried to find a copy of Java 1.8 as recommended for the Mac version, however all I could find was 1.7 u67

Per this, I went to update my symlink but it doesn't show a folder for 1.7 or 1.8 is that a problem?

Holy shit I finally got it working but that took way more work than the average user will be willing to put up with. I'm willing to write up a step by step walk through but this process really needs to be streamlined before it's usable by non tech people.

Would be nice if you could do the step by step walk through.
It's hard to support a os/system you don't use.
So any help from Mac users is very appreciated.
