Missing images of tokens or new sets

XMage downloads the token images from this site: http://magiccards.info/extras.html. As long as this site is not updated, the tokens can't be downloaded from XMage.

The same is true for images of new sets or promo/special cards, where the image sources don't host the images yet.

However you can always add the token images manually to your ..\Mage-Client\plugins\images\TOK.zip\ file. In this file (or folder if you don't use zip storage) is a subfolder for the tokens for every set. Add the missing zip files to your TOK.zip file in your client images folder and you will see the token images while playing with XMage.

Of course it would be appreciated if someone could hoste a web site similar to the http://magiccards.info/extras.html site adding links to the token images. Than we could add it to the the list of download sites and everbody using XMage could easily download all the token images that are added to the site.

The DB file of the client in v4 does not contain the cards correctly. So be sure to connect to a server before downloading, that updates the client database. Check it by starting deck editor and check if the cards are shown.

Otherwise post the error message that is written to client log file if you try to download the images.

I tested to download images and icons with v4 this way with fresh download and installation and it did work for me.

Tried a fresh install. I can't even download symbols. Same with cards. It shows me that it's downloading them, but there are no cards after. Tried after connecting to a server.

We name it with a 1, 2, ... suffix according the collecters number order on the token cards.
So it should be named "Demon 1", "Demon 2" and the assignment to the one or another has to be done in the card implementation.

Switch the automatic check for new images in the preferences to off.
And only if the server or client is updated just click once on the images menu on the top right to load new images.
Seems simple enough.
