I recently purchased a LG G-Pad 8.3 tablet; runs kitkat. Is there a way to run xmage on this? I downloaded the launcher but it errors saying it's not a supported file.

No, there is no way.
As long as no native java is supported, there is no way to run XMage on Android.

Dang. So much for laying in bed and playing into the wee hours of the morning. I downloaded a java emulator - would this or does something exist that can make java work? I don't know enough about the os and Java to know how/why this does or doesn't work.
