I can't download the symbols at all and when the cards finish downloading they don't show up in the client.

But if you download the symbols manually for example from here
http://bit.ly/XMageSymbols
and copy the folders to .../mage-client/plugins/images/
it works?

Yes symbols are showing now. Thanks. Still no images, even after i download them.
