Try'n to get a friend of mines into Xmage, but he seems to have trouble starting the .bat files.
he says after clinking startmagewin7.bat the CMD pops up for a few seconds and closes.
any advise on how to get it to run?

He should download the xmage launcher from http://176.31.186.181//xmage/XMageLauncher-0.3.3.jar
It can make life easier.
