Was there a reason for the launcher version downgrade?

Care to share? Should I not be running 0.3.1 even though 0.3.4 forced that "upgrade"?

There is no such downgrade intended. There are some Mac systems that have problems with the 0.3.4 launcher so there is also a config for current Xmage with old launcher but with the special URL.

So what's your exact setting in launcher XMage Home?

This is on Linux, not a Mac.

I can confirm that xmage.de/xmage/config.json points to launcher 0.3.1 on any platform.
