XMage Card Images Suggestion

I was just wondering about the last few card images that cant be downloaded by xmage. I was hoping for something of an alternative fix, rather than downloading the cards manually and renaming them. Coz there are a couple of drawbacks to that.
1. The file name format is a bit tedious, sometimes outright difficult.
I know its just the card name add a ".full" at the end. How about whole sets? Each basic land has a number after it. where will i get that? And how about homelands? Cards there have alternate art. So what do I name the alternate version?
2. A standard image quality.
Well if you downloaded the images from wizards and expecting high quality, and you cant download it, then your forced to download at magiccards dot info, which has a different level of image quality. Then your card image quality are now mixed up.
3. It takes a lot of time
Well, ive already tried downloading the card database for magic albums to make things a bit faster, but it still takes a huge amount of time renaming.
So here's a possible solution:
Uploading the card database and posting the link to it. Or possibly even a torrent. Magic album has done it.
So we cant possible tie it directly to xmage because of copyright and it need to be updated regularly, but i think its a price worth paying to fix the card image issue.
And if you have any other alternatives, feel free to post it here and we'll work things out.
