Hi,

I download the version 1.4.10v0 that was released. I discover the problem on tap mana when the land has more then one option (the previous version was perfect).

AFTER I tried to follow your instructions activate or deactivate options. YOUR INSTRUCTIONS DOES NOT WORK FOR ME.

PLEASE. I can not play BECAUSE Of this option. There are another away to solve it?

LevelX: As you can imagine we are well aware of that problem and it's fixed with the next update (1.4.10v1 2016-04-08).
Probably the workaround will also work on your system.

Neckbreaker does not grant trample to attacking creatures.

Weirding Wood (enchanting a plains) grants the activated ability to the land, but does not allow the player to actually use it. In other words, the ability is visible on the plains in the hover-text, but it will only tap for (w). EDIT: Looks like other people have been having the same issue with most land activated abilities this patch.

Additionally, an opponent I was playing against attempted to sac a clue in the attached board state, and it supposedly gave him an error message. The game state was automatically rolled-back, and it would produce the same error whenever he attempted to sac any given clue.

escplan9: It's an issue with Gitrog that also is fixed beyond 1.4.10v0 (see Gitrog on the field)

Finally, not really a bug report, but I would love if we could get some fresh card images for cards like Crow of Dark Tidings and Ember-Eye Wolf. They currently have the originally-spoiled image, which is a nearly illegible scan of the card. Of course both cards are totally functional, so I understand that it's probably not really a priority.


escplan9: You can patch it manually at this time. In mage-client/plugins/images there is a SOI.zip . Inside there are all the image files currently used. Download the preferred image you want from magiccards.info like Crow of Dark Tidings: http://magiccards.info/query?q=crow+of+ ... rd&s=cname and name it the same as you see in the Zip file. Then overwrite the file inside the Zip (might have to extract the zip somewhere, replace the file, then recreate the zip and overwrite the original zip.

Doctor Weird: Or, alternatively, if you don't mind the small download, an even easier option is to just delete SOI.zip, reopen XMage, and have it download the zip file again. What happened is that you probably downloaded the images for the SOI cards very early on when the image provider only had low quality scans of them, since then they've updated them to better ones so just delete the old ones and re-download.

Fireshoes: Any more details of the cause? Permanents on battlefield or triggered abilities?

I don't think so. Game was going fine then that error showed up and it gave my opponent a match loss.

edit: Just had it happen again. I blocked and then lost the game.

edit2: attached the gamelogs from two of them.


It seems to happen whenever you block with an Insect token generated from Crawling Sensation.

I control two Jaddi Offshoot.
I cast Touch of the Void to one of it.
Then Mirrorpool second ability activate to Touch of the Void.
Copy Touch of the Void, change target of it to second Jaddi Offshoot.
Copy result normal exile Jaddi Offshoot.
Original result then dialog which Touch of the Void exiles Jaddi Offshoot.
It really exile it automatically because it has only one effect.
Game has no other effects or cards.

I had a Huntmaster of the Fells in play and no one cast a spell and as soon as it goes to the next turn Huntmaster triggers and then I get this Game Error:

Then the game is trying to roll back and it puts the effects back on the stack and then goes to the next phase and repeats the error.

Cast Anguished Unmaking, targeting Sylvan Advocate. My opponent responded with Eerie Interlude with Sylvan Advocate as the only target (according to my opponent). The game ignored the Eerie Interlude and resolved my Anguished Unmaking. I don't have a game log available upon search. He said he targeted the Advocate but he may have thought he did, since it doesn't require a target.

I am getting a bug during gameplay where all of my lands stack on top of one another, and it is impossible to tap lands / play spells. This happens during all games. Also, I am unable to host, because I get a persistent "New player joined your game." message which repeatedly flashes until the player leaves my table. I am unable to click "start" because it remains greyed out, even as they've joined my game.

I have repeatedly deleted the game files / installer, however I am sure that some of the files are still on the PC, since new installations still automatically log me in using my username / password. Can you tell me where to look / how to delete these legacy files?

LevelX: use regedit.exe on windows os and navigate to node HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Prefs\mage\client
The prefs are saved for the user, that's the reason sometimes when users have problems to uninstall xmage, because this settings stay.

The launcher isn't able to find XMage, even after starting fresh with a new install. It's also failing to download the new version. Downloads Java without any issues though. Here's what it's been saying in the launcher log:

LevelX: What URL is set to the "XMage Home" in launcher settings?
Should be http://xmage.de/xmage (maybe you have there the old no longer working http://xmage.info/xmage URL).

I have Ghazbán Ogre in play, my hp is 19, opponent's is 20, thus I should lose control of it when it gets to my upkeep. Instead we get the error below, and the game is locked at upkeep, whenever I try to pass priority we both just get the error again.

I control a Consul's Lieutenant (not renown) and Always Watching (therefore the lieutenant is 3/2).
My opponent controls a Bygone Bishop.
He then casts a Dromoka's Command choosing the second mode (Target player sacrifices an enchantment.) targeting me, and the fourth mode (Target creature you control fights target creature you don't control.) targeting his bishop and my lieutenant.

The expected result is that i sacrifice Always Watching (since it is my only enchantment) then the 2/3 bishop fights the 2/1 lieutenant, killing it without dying.

What happened is that i sacrificied the enchantment, then both creatures fight and both died. Likewise the command didn't kept track of the fact that the lieutenant was only 2/1 when the fight part resolved.

Full art lands from BFZ disappeared since previous release, I know it can't be called exactly a bug, but still it was nice to have them.

Here is another bug with Phyrexian Dreadnought and Vision Charm xD
I was in a game where my opponent cast an Abrupt Decay targeting my Dreadnought. I then cast in response Vision Charm, phasing out the Dreadnought in order to save it, but after it phased out it still died from the removal, but phasing should have saved it. Please fix

LevelX: There was a fix for this with 1.4.10v1. So did you really have this bug with 1.4.10v1?

Yeah, it seems that phasing can't avoid targeted removal. After Abrupt Decay resolved, the Dreadnought was put in the Graveyard.
