A new version of XMage (1.4.15) was released today.

Download the Launcher jar from xmage.de to install and run Xmage.
XMage Launcher

If you updated to a new version and want to revert back to the previous version you can set your xmage home (use custom) to e.g. "http://xmage.de/xmage1.4.14v0" (or similar URLs related to the release number) in the settings of the launcher and restart. (Don't forget to set it back to "http://xmage.de/xmage" if you want again update to the newest version later.)

NEW FEATURES

Full characteristic-based card rendering for cards. (activate in preferences/images)

FIXES

Fixed that token images were not loaded.
Fixed a problem with token P/T reset (fixes the problem with Tree of Perdition and Soul Separator).

CARD FIXES

Mayael's Aria - Fixed that the +1/+1 counter was added to every controlled permanent instead of only creature permanents.
Necromancer's Magemark - Fixed replacement effect that was coded as triggered ability.
Orcish Spy - Fixed that the activated ability did not work.
Tree of Perdition: fixed so only toughness is exchanged with opponent's life total.
Tree of Redemption - Fixed that the set toughness from exchange was still applied after zone changes.

Fixed that library shuffling produced the same hand for every match.

Having the cards rendered by the app is quite amazing, this team outdid itself. Bravo.

I was put off at first but I kept playing with it. When my forests turned green/black after my opponent played Urborg and the card description changed to add that the card taps for both green and black mana?

That's next level stuff, well done.

To anyone taken back by the new way - I encourage you to spend time with it, it's very, very good.

i definatly like the new card board thing.

i really wished panharmonicon was in this update though.

Grabbag - full cards download from 'magiccards dot info' for (some?/most?) promo cards - Judge Rewards/APAC/Euro Lands/FNMP cards etc. Will add things like MomirVig Avatar into this. >>> You must be using .zip files to use this properly.
Mtg.onl - Tokens that get saved into a 'Generic' format in your TOK.zip file so that tokens are less dependent on the set that the card that's asking for it comes from.
Alt.mtg.onl - Cool SCG tokens. Note, overwrites the tokens from mtg.onl!

Fixed a bug of Fate Reforged booster generation adding wrong rarities.

Fixed a problem when total power of creatures on board is lower than crew cost (e.g. thanks to Lillina's +1), crew ability can not be activated despite having a creature with enough power.
Fixed a bug of the copy effect that could lead to null pointer exceptions e.g. for Permeating Mass trying to copy meanwhile removed target(fixes #2342).
Fixed a bug that let cards disappear after moving cards from hand to library (e.g. Teferi's puzzle).
Fixed a problem with card movement that prevented Tiny Leaders go to command zone at game start.
Fixed some code that could produce exceptions (seen in the server logs).
